Dear father of Antonio (Christine), Carlos (Carla), Paulo (Elizabeth), Elisabete, and Claudia (Andre). Loving Avo to Carlos, Elvira, Ricky, Jesse, Paulo, Sophia, Vanessa, Andrew, Fabio, Gabriel, Patricia, Leandro, Daniel and Mariana. Brother to Alzira and Alda of Portugal and Alcinio of Hamilton. Will be sadly missed by many in-laws including Domingos and Maria Estudante of USA, as well as many nieces and nephews. Loving father of Marianne Harper (Ken), Susan (Jeff), Michael (Terry), Joanne (Lee), Paul, and Anthony (Kim). Cherished grandfather of Bradley, Shawna Leigh, Melanie, Brandon, Joseph, Jonathon, Spencer and Sierra. Eldest son of the late Maria and late Mirto Mariutti. Dear brother of Tally Pongetti (Flev), Gino (Bev) and Joyce (Ian). Brother-in-law of the late Charlie Scime (Elda), Sister Carmelina, Della Susi (late Dominic), the late Florence Izzotti (late Emile), the late Carmelina Fagan (late Wilf), Dr. Carmelo Scime (Lynne), Angelo Scime (late Mary), and Joe Scime (Marj). Loved and respected by many nieces and nephews. Ray will always be remembered for his devotion to his family and was happiest when all of his children and extended family were together. As the proud owner of Melray Manufacturing Jewellers for over thirty years, Ray’s passion for creating fine jewellery touched many lives. His outspoken personality endeared him to all who knew him. Peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 11, 2009 after a courageous, lengthy illness in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Arlene for 51 years. Loving dad of Ellen (Mark), Michele (John), Jennifer, and Susan. Cherished Tatone/Papa of Anthony, Connor, Domenic, Jessica, Nicholas, and Joseph. Will be greatly missed by his sister Lorraine Malkovich (the late James) and brother Robert Corsini (Beverley). Dear brother-in-law of Thelma Corsini, Charleen Corsini, and Gayl Grattan. Predeceased by his parents Goffredo and Orizia (Viola) Corsini and siblings Edna Keyes, Rinaldo Corsini, and Dr. Alfio Corsini. Lovingly remembered by many family members and friends. Waldo was a lifetime member of the C.Y.O. Celebrity Dinner committee, on the YMCA past Board of Directors, a long-time member of the Sons of Italy, member of the Bisco-10, and was well known in the construction industry for many years. He was the Special Projects Manager for Cooper Construction and co-owner of Bestco Construction. Waldo was an avid hunter and fisherman and was well known for his cooking at stags, showers and other functions. Waldo will be most remembered for his love of life and family and appreciation for friendship. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Wednesday from 5-9 pm. Vigil prayers 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Lawrence Church on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 10 am. Cremation has taken place. Predeceased by her brother Harold Hartwick. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and also by her dear little friend Babes.
