November 06, 1969 - November 27, 2004

MARRONE, Joe (Joseph) Suddenly as a result of a tragic accident on Saturday, November 27, 2004 in his 35th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Piera (Vizzini) Devoted father to Samuel (Sammy) and Domenic. Loving son and son-in-law of Salvatore and Giovanna Marrone and Domenic and the late Giuseppina Vizzini. Brother and brother-in-law of Felice and Maria Marrone, Angela Marrone, and Lina Vizzini. Dear Uncle of Luke. Cherished Nephew of Andrea and Giuseppina Cumbo, Philip Cumbo, Mike and Cathy Cumbo, Pat and Florence Cumbo, Attilio and Giuseppina Marrone of Italy, Emilio and Graziella Marrone of Italy, The late Luigi and Concetta Marrone of Italy, Joe and Giuseppina Tinebra, Nick and Giuseppina Tinebra, Grazia and the late Alfonso Ippolito of Italy, Vittorio and Antoinetta Vizzini of Italy, Survived by many cousins, family and friends. Resting at FRISCOS on Tuesday and Wednesday from 4-9pm Vigil prayers on Wednesday at time to be announced. Funeral Mass will be offered at All Souls Church on Thursday December 2 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Antimo "Andy" Vacca
February 09, 1935 - November 26, 2004

After a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease, with his loving family by his side, Antimo passed away on Friday, November 26, 2004 at St. Joseph's Hospital in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Anna for 41 years. Caring father of Marina and Lino Ciuffreda, Sirio and Lisa and Tony and Antonietta. Loving Nonno of Andrew, Makayla, Arianna and Joshua. Antimo will be sadly missed by his brother Ermete and Maria Vacca, his brother-in-law Antonio Valletta and numerous friends and family members. Thank you to the nursing and medical staff at St. Joseph's Hospital, especially to the care and support offered by the 4th floor. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. R. AIlega and Bayshore Healthcare. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Bar-ton Street East (near James) on Monday and Tuesday from 4-9 p.m. Vigil prayers on Tuesday at 5 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Margaret Mary Church on Wednesday December 1, at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Luigi Fappiano

On Sunday, July 4, 2004 at the Hamilton General Hospital the family announces the passing of Luigi Fappiano in his 79th year. Husband of the late Maria. Loved father of Guiseppe, Romeo, Marilyn and Sergio. Loved father-in-law of Sylvia, and Norm and Jill. Beloved brother of Elena and Luigi D’Ostilio, Ida and Luigi DeNicolo, Domenico and Battista Fappiano, and the late Vincenzo, Salvatore, and Maria Biagio. Also predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Maria Fappiano. Luigi will be sadly missed by his 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Luigi was an avid hunter and a master gardener.

Paolo Pietro Marchese

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at his home on Monday, July 12, 2004, Paolo Marchese, in his 57th year. Dearly loved husband of Julie Marchese (nee D’Antonio). Loved father of Kristina and her husband Chris Fur, Heather and her husband Ken Allan, Jennifer and her husband Carmine Lancia, Tony Marchese, Jonathan D’Antonio and Carmine Marchese Cherished Nonno of Tyler Allan and Breanne Lancia. Dear son of Virginia and the late Alberto Marchese, and son-in-law of Adalgisa and the late Carmine D’Antonio. Dear brother of Lidia and Aldo DeLuca, Frank and Irene Marchese, Tony and Rosa Marchese, Sam and Pat Marchese and Angie and Paul Szymkiewicz. Brother-in-law of Peter and Margaret D’Antonio, Sue and Ray Siemko and Tony and Tammy D’Antonio. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Loving father of Sandra and Jim McCord. Predeceased by his daughter Sylvia who passed away 18 years ago. Cherished Nonno of Jamie, Alexandra and Julia. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Marietta Bozzo, Gina and Antonio Parise, Anna and Eugenio Parise, and Eda Spadafora, Concetta Memmolo, Teresa Memmolo, all of Italy, Pietro and Rosa Memmolo, Lucia Vecchi, Fedele and Mena Memmolo, Maria Rosina Memmolo, and Rosa Memmolo, all of Canada. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters-in-law Eugenio and Anna Bozzo, Franco and Allegrina Bozzo, brothers-in-law Emilio Spadafora, Francesco Bozzo, Domenico Memmolo, Luigi Memmolo, Mario Memmolo, Genesio Memmolo, and Pasquale Vecchi. Paolo will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews here in Canada and Italy. Loved grandmother of Mark and Kathleen, Patricia and Vince, Ivan and Ester, Richard and Rose, Christopher and Anna, Juliana and Pacifico, great-grandchildren Brennan, Jacob Marino, Malaina, Sam, Mia, Madalaine, Daniel, Noah, Olivia and Nicholas. Dear sister of Sarah Cherri. Predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Also survived by brothers and sister-in-law and nieces and nephews.

Peacefully with his family by his side at the Henderson General Hospital on Tuesday, July 13, 2004. Carmine Civitareale in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Palmina (nee D'Intino). Dear father of Angelo and Rosita Civitareale, Anita and Michael. Beloved son and son-in-law of Marietta and the late Angelo Civitareale the late Carmine and Vincenza D'Intino. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Tony and Nina Civitareale, Mario and Settimia Civitareale, Erminio and Teresa Civitareale, Dario and the late Anna Presutti, Adalgisa and the late Corrado Civitareale, Tommaso and lole DiNino, Bruno and Jackie D'Intino Carmine will be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends in Canada, Italy and Brazil. Carmine was a retiree of Dofasco with 27 years service. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt appreciation to the staff on Ward 395 of the Henderson Hospital for their special care Carmine received. After a courageous battle with cancer, at St. Peter's Hospital on Sunday, July 11, 2004, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Grabowski). Dear father of Bob Schultz and his wife Ethline and Carol Knockaert. Adoring grandfather of Julie Schultz and her husband Earl Dumitru, Neil Schultz, Blake Schultz and Nadine Knockaert. Dearest great-grandfather to Robert. Predeceased by his brother. Stanley was a member of the Salvation Army, the Masons and the Welcome Inn Seniors' Club.
