Shirley Webb passed away suddenly at the Sudbury Memorial Hospital on Thursday, August 1, 2002, in her 68th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Michael, Danny, Beverley, the late Wilfred Jr., late Donald, late Brenda and the late baby Webb. Loving nana to Cody and Kaden. Daughter of the late Clarence and Jessie Maxwell. Shirley is survived by her brothers Stan and T.J. and sisters Muriel and Beverley. Sister of the late Betty, late Marg, late Mildred and the late Vivian. She will be missed by all who knew her. A celebration of Shirley's life took place on Sunday, August 4. Nora Mary Patnode (Adamo) passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, July 14, 2002, at the age of 81. Nora was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. She loved to travel and worked as a beautician in Key West, Florida, until she married Vernon Patnode (predeceased) in 1952. The family resided in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, where she volunteered at St. Joseph's Catholic School as a bookkeeper during her children's education there. Eventually, in 1994, she moved to Huntington Beach, California, to be closer to her children and beloved granddaughter. Nora will be greatly missed by her two sons, Michael Patnode (Yoko) of Costa Mesa, California, Patrick Patnode of Victoria, B.C., and her daughter Susan Boraston (Geoff) of Scotts valley, California. Nora was a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren, Melissa Patnode and Angela Patnode of Marquette, Michigan, and Sara Boraston of Scotts Valley, California, with whom she shared a special bond. Her great grandchildren, Christopher, Kaitlin and Chelsea were always close to her heart. To her parents, Peter and Sarah Adamo, she was a cherished daughter. She is sadly missed by her sisters, Mary Adamo, Stella DiPasquale (John) and Teresa Tadashore (late Charles). Predeceased by Rose Boniferro (late Stan), Frank (late Irene), Joseph (Olga), William (late Eda) and Julia Verdone (late Arthur). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 6 at St. Jerome's Church (Carmel Road) at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. George LaPierre officiating. Interment next to her predeceased parents at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Gerald Allen Rancourt passed away suddenly after a long battle. Allen passed away at the Old Victoria Hospital, South Street, London, Ontario on Tuesday, July 30, 2002 at the age of 49 years. He will always be remembered by his loving wife of 17 years, Lauriene (Laurie) Rancourt (Aubin), his children Sean (Kristen) Nelson and Amber Nelson (Fiancé Jeremy Haynes), his parents Gerald (Gerry) and Ella Rancourt and his siblings Debbie (Terry) Beauchamp and Ron Rancourt. Remembering his fondly are members of his extended family, Harold and Dolly Aubin, Stephen (Betty Lou) Aubin, Karen (Walter) Mertes and Donnie and Bonnie Nelson. Uncle Allen will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews Christopher and Nicole Beauchamp, Bryan, Allyson and Kyla Aubin and Nathan Mertes. Allen was also loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and his Great Danes, Sally & Sadie (The Girls).
