Iris Roebuck passed away peacefully at the F.J. Davey home on Thursday, November 28, 2002. Loving wife and best friend of Don for 62 years. Proud mother of Paul. Sister of the late Miriam (Ted) and Joan (Jim) and aunt of Martyn. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, December 3 from 2:00 p.m. until time of the service at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Don McKay officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the charity of your choice, the F. J. Davey Home or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated. Special thanks to the entire staff at the F. J. Davey Home.

Madeline (Molly) Symes passed away peacefully in her 87th year at the F. J. Davey Home on November 30, 2002. Beloved wife of the late Robert. Loving mother of Lynne McCarthy (Lorne) and James. Dear Granny of Kevin McCarthy (Barbara) and Shauna VanBoerdonk (Michael). Special Great Granny of Tyler McCarthy, Sarah and Erik VanBoerdonk. Predeceased by her siblings Edna Baskcomb, Nora Freeman (late Eric), Harold Baskcomb (Bettie), Beatrice Little (late Jerry) and Arthur Baskcomb (late Valda). Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Barton and Kiteley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday. December 3, from 12 noon until 1:45 p.m. then to St. Luke's Cathedral for the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with the Very Rev. Garry Dobinson officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the F. J. Davey Home Palliative Care or to the Group Health Centre Trust Fund would be appreciated. Elizabeth Allan "Peanuts" Brawley passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Friday, November 29, 2002 at the age of 75. Best friend of husband, Jim, daughter Tracey Burbridge (Brian) and stepson Michael (Kathi). Her triplet grandchildren Carley, Paige, and Landau will sadly miss her. Dear sister of Isabel Culina (late Tom). She was predeceased by her three brothers, Peter Burt (late Lilly), John Burt (wife Lillian) and William Burth (wife Marie). She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, December 3, for a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Eun-Joo Park officiating. Memorial donations to the Oncology Unit or to the Group Health Centre Trust Fund would be appreciated by the family. The Brawley family would like to thank Doctor Walde and Dr. Spadafora and the nursing staff of the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Clinic and 4th floor Oncology Unit for their compassion and support.

Son of the late Hugh and Elizabeth McCarthy and brother of Sylvia Whalen, Bleen Colynuck, Orris Selkirk, Floyd and Pat McCarthy and the late Maxwell McCarthy and Rosemary Kelly. Friends may call at he O'Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, corner of Cathcart and St. James Streets, on Monday, December 2nd from noon until time of the service at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Loving father of Raija (Sampo Paunonen), Hannu and Markku (Heather). Cherished grandfather of Ari, Luke, Patrick, Matthew, Faaron, and Jacob. He will be fondly remembered by family and friends in Finland. A family service was held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, November 28 at 7:000 p.m. with Rev. Loving wife of the late Daniel (Danny). Cherished mother of Phyllis Jackman, Michae D. (Joan), Maureen D. Irvine (Pat). Beloved grandmother of Cheryl, Karen, Darren, Daniel, Frank, Lee, Patrick, Kathleen, Wendy, Sean, Tricia. Great grandmother of many. Sister of Margaret Marinelli (late Guido). A special aunt to many niece and nephews. Doris is predeceased by her son, Darryl, her brother Don McNaughton and sister Jean Mattioli. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Sunday, December 1 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at People's Pentecostal Church on Monday, December 2 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor David Kingston officiating. John Del Rizzo passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2003 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Rina (Nicioli) and cherished father of Pat Mancuso (Daniel). Special nono of Jason and Samuel. Dear brother of the late Evelyn Burella (Antonio), late Nello (Gianconda), late Victorio, late Egidio (late Bruna), late Ilario (late Maria). He is survived by brother-in-law Romeo Nicioli (Tina) and sister-in-law Eole Cartmill (late Ken) and many nieces and nephews. John was the former owner of the Royal Service Station, corner of Queen and Gore Streets and an employee of the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (Department of Highways). John was a lifetime member of the Furglone Club. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, January 22 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, January 23 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Victor Amadio officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Sault Area Hospital long-term care units would be appreciated by the family.

Mary Jane Shaver passed away peacefully at the F. J. Davey Home on Sunday, January 19, 2003 in her 87th year. Mary Jane was predeceased by her husband Dr. Charles Shaver in 1977. She was loved dearly by all her family: daughter Mary Painter of Vancouver, son Robert of Bruce Mines, grandchildren Sarah and Jason Farris of Vancouver, Adrienne Painter of Halifax, Tracey Shaver of Sudbury, Courtney Shaver of Sault Ste. Marie and Michael Shaver of Sudbury, great grandchildren Jane and Owen Farris and Savannah Shaver. Mary Jane is survived by her loving sister, Betty Williamson of Carnegie, Pennsylvania and predeceased by her sister Jean and brother Lloyd. Mary Jane will be missed by her friend Jackie Lillepool, daughter-in-law Wendy and son-in-law Michael. There will be no funeral. After a family memorial service, Mary Jane will be reunited with her husband, Chuck, at Greenwood Cemetery. Thank you to the staff of the F. J. Davey Home for their wonderful care, friendship and support to Mary Jane and her family throughout her final days. (Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 759-2522.)
