Predeceased by his 2nd wife Edith, and his 1st wife Sara, as well as his step son Craig Strain and siblings Helen, Ted, Henry, Lenarda McDonald and Nellie Bak. Lovingly remembered by son Michael (Ida) and daughter Heather Strain, grandchildren Sara, Peter, Sherri and Kevin, 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. At Carl’s request cremation has taken place, and interment will take place at a later date in Lake of the Woods Cemetery, Kenora. Beloved husband of MaryAnn Jutras (nee Bourgeois) of Sudbury. Loving father of Denise Jutras (Paul Michaud), Janine Paradis (Marc), Pierre Jutras and Andre Jutras all of Sudbury. Dears brother of Jeannine Caron (Lionel) of Sudbury, Lucille Albert (Richard) of Timmins, Helene Chartrand (Raymond) and Carole Campeau (Normand) both of West Arm, Monique Kadlec (Felix) of Barrie. Also survived by his sisters-in-law, Claire Stanghetta (Ron), Gloria Burt and Dorice Stevens (Keith) all of Sault Ste. Marie and Susan Bourgeois (Tom Marinelli) of Georgetown. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Mathieu and Alexandre Paradis and Joel and Martine Michaud. Son-in-law of Janine Bourgeois (nee Langdon) of Sault Ste. Marie and of the late Aldorice Bourgeois. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Normand was owner and operator of Jutras Group (Phil Jutras and Son Ltd.) a fourth generation business operating throughout Northern Ontario, providing delivery services to local communities since 1930. A loving son and uncle, Norm will be remembered as a devoted brother, a proud and dedicated father and a husband who’s pride was his precious wife of 40 years. A strong advocate of supporting local business, Norm Jutras believed in helping and giving people a chance, treating people with respect and equality. He was a proud member of the “Club Richelieu de Sudbury” for 31 years. Music was important for Norm. His piano playing would bring people together, creating harmony and making everyone happy. A very kind, giving person, Norm had a heart of gold and will be remembered as the life of the party, bringing his blue music case, entertaining people of all ages. The family will receive friends at the Co-Operative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E, (at Notre Dame), Sudbury, Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, September 13, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. in St-Jean-de-Brebeuf Church, Sudbury. As a tribute to Norm’s commitment to helping local community, donations will be received through the United Way/ Centraide to support specific local programs. Memorial prayers will be held Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Co-Operative Funeral Home under the auspices of “Les Clubs Richelieu”.
