Suddenly at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Sunday, September 5, 2004, E. Jean (Dotty) (Guay) Jackson of Norwich, formerly of Sault Ste. Marie in her 57th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Al. Dear daughter of Lily Guay. Loving mother of Troy Datson and wife Natalie, Tammy and husband John Young, Terry and husband Gord Evans, Mark, Tim and Amy Jackson. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Krysta, Nicholas, Jordan, Nicole, Cassandra, Kelly, Alyssa, Tara, Desiree, Kaylee, Austin, Ashley and Colton. Dear sister of Andy Guay and wife Rita, Violet Hunt and spouse Bob Lamure, Happy Guay and spouse Gail Chadwick, Moses Guay and wife Mary, Delores and husband Hank Nirkkola, half brother Donny Longe. Daughter-in-law of Marilyn and husband Eugene Kraushaar. Loved and cherished by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father Amaddy Guay. passed away peacefully at the General Hospital surrounded by his family on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 in his 57th year. Beloved father of Shannon (Glen) and Sherry (Steve). Cherished and always loved brother of Nancy Adams (Wayne). Son of the late Nial and Kathleen Lautenslager. Tom is survived by nieces Kim Barnes (Tom) and Dionne Elgie (Jeff). Great uncle of Megan, Allie, Lily and Brendan. Tom was a 30 year member of the Operating Engineers, Local 793 and will be greatly missed by his fellow brothers. Marie where he was teacher and principal at Sault Technical and Commercial High School for 35 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Eleanor (Elliot) Shearer. Peacefully at his home on Monday, September 5, 2004, at the age of 52. Beloved husband of Julie (Gagnon) Slack of Guelph. Loving son of Gerrie and the late Donn Slack. Rick will be missed by his stepdaughter, Stacie Dawne Hall (Greg) and Kari Anne Wright. Loving Papa of Tayler Julie-Anne Wright, Samual Jacob Nash, and Emma Alexandria Nash. Rick was a brother to Tim (Dianne), Stephen, and Nancy Ferrella (Ben) and an uncle to Roman and Matteo, Brandon and Travis, and Amanda and Stephanie. He was the nephew of Gloria and Bob Scrutton. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home “Hart Chapel”, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. A funeral service for Rick will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday September 10, 2004 at 4 p.m. Reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall at the funeral home. passed away at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria BC on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at the age of 67 years. Predeceased by his parents Kathleen and Gerald McClary. He is survived by his wife Phyllis and children Michael (Sandra) McClary of Victoria, Eileen Martel of Kelowna, Alison (Rick) Nielson of Edmonton and Paul McClary of Port Alberni, grandchildren Cody Hartard, Jessica and Cole Martel. He is also survived by his three sisters Janet (Walter) Mantaluk, Nancy (Robert) Rogers and Susan Nick Tomljanovich all of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Brian was a plumber following in his father and grandfather's footsteps until he moved to the coast and his love of fishing led him to take up commercial fishing until his retirement. He was an outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He also was an accomplished woodworker and delighted in turing out beautiful creations for his family and friends. At Brian's wish there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. Beloved grandmother, great grandmother of numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
