WESLEY WILLIAM MCLELLAN
Wesley William McLellan a lifelong resident of Port Lambton, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus, on Tuesday February 22, 2000 in his 81st year. He is survived by one brother Donald W. McLellan of Port Lambton. He was the son of the late William D. & Ellen (Whale) McLellan. Predeceased by 5 brothers, Ray, Gordon, Lloyd, Norman and John McLellan and 4 sisters, Eva Lenthall, Bessie Coykendall, Ila Miller and Ruth Masefield. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. The family received friends and relatives at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street (at Elgin), in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Thursday. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Bob Whalls of Port Lambton United Church at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, February 25, 2000 in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. The pallbearers were Garnet Thibault, Bob Anderson, Gus Palocz, Stephan McLellan, Craig McLellan. Interment followed at McDonald cemetery , Port Lambton. If desired, remembrances to the Heart & Stroke Foundation may be left at the funeral home.
RONALD PAUL FRANCIS GENYN
Ronald Paul Francis Genyn a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully in Wallaceburg on Sunday February 27, 2000 in his 72nd year. Ron was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Wallaceburg and Dresden Legions. Former spouse of Clarice (Barnier). Loving father and father-in-law of Brenda & Bryan Tunstall of Chatham, Kevin & Elaine Genyn of London and Lisa White of Chatham. Dear grandfather of 10 grandchildren and brother of Theresa Bell of Stratford, Betty Jean and Jerry Thomas of Wallaceburg, Irene and Jack Dawson of Mississauga, Jerry & Marge Genyn of Wallaceburg and the late Bertha Lamothe. Brother-in-law of John Lamothe and the late John Bell. Ron was predeceased by his parents Victor and Marion (Sterling) Genyn, his son Dennis (1996) and his granddaughter Jodi. The family received relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street (at Elgin), in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday. A Moose Lodge Service was held at 8 p.m. on Tuesday. The funeral mass was celebrated by Fr. Dennis Wilhelm on Wednesday March 1 at Holy Family Church at 11 a.m. The pallbearers were James Genyn, Jim Hagan, Ken Stocker, Francis Genyn, Jeff Genyn and Wayne Robinson. The interment followed at Riverview cemetery. If desired, remembrances to the Diabetes Association may be left at the funeral home.
AGNES ELIZABETH WALLACE
Mrs. Agnes Elizabeth Wallace a resident of Chatham passed away on Friday, February 25, 2000 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Public General Campus Chatham at the age of 95 years. Agnes was born in England and was a daughter of the late William Charles Barnes and Elizabeth Cunningham. Beloved wife of the late William Wallace (1984). Surviving are many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Jessie Patterson and Lillian Gilhuly. Her brothers Harold and William Barnes. At the families request there was no funeral home visitation. A private Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 29, 2000 from Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Wallaceburg at 10 a.m. with Fr. John Pirt, Celebrant. Cremation followed and her ashes will be buried in Riverview cemetery , Wallaceburg. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to the ERIC F. NICHOLLS FUNERAL HOME 639 Elgin Street, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.
THOMAS WALLACE BERNARD MARR
Mr. Thomas Wallace Bernard Marr a lifelong resident of Sombra passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2000 at the Sarnia General Hospital at the age of 92 years. Tom was a well known farmer in the Sombra area and was a son of the late William Marr and Susan Murphy. Beloved husband of Marjorie (Ansell) Marr. Dear father and father-in-law of Fred and Sandy Marr of Marine City, Michigan, Tom and Toni Marr of Moscow, Russia and Marge Marr of Sombra. Sadly missed by his grandchildren David, Tonya, Tova, Devan, Danny and his wife Jessica and their son Brendan. His step granchildren Mike, Danielle and Jamie. Kind brother of Enid Taylor of Deerfield Beach, Florida. Predeceased by his sisters Pearl, Maude and Hazel. The late Thomas Wallace Bernard Marr rested at the ERIC F. NICHOLLS FUNERAL HOME 639 Elgin Street, Wallaceburg until Wednesday, March 1, 2000 when Funeral Services were conducted in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bob Whalls, Officiating. Pall Bearers were Walter Allen, Jim Johnston, Tom Klompstra, Bill Ansell, Tim Hay and Ed Dunseath. Interment was in Riverside cemetery , Sombra.
