BIAGINI, Amelia (nee Yardanoff)

At Sault Area Hospital (General) on Monday, October 16, 2006 Amelia Biagini in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Biagini and dear mother of Mary (Lyle) and Tina. Predeceased by her parents, James and Mary Yardanoff and two sisters and three brothers. At Amelia's request a private funeral service took place Wednesday, October 18th at O'SULLIVAN DONNELLY FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Ron Ambeault officiating. Cremation followed by interment in the family plot at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to St. Veronica's Building Fund, the St. Vincent De Paul Society or the Soup Kitchen would be appreciated.

DIMMA, Kathleen (Kaye) Edith

Suddenly and peacefully slipped away on Tuesday, October 17, 2006. She was the loving wife of the late Bruce Dimma, mother of Roger (Lesley) of Orillia, ON., Ronald (Elaine) and Ginny Robb (Willie) of Sault Ste. Marie. Kaye was blessed with eight grandchildren Geoffrey (Corrine), Darren (Silvia), Jennifer (Albert), Lori, (Johnny), Shelley, Angela, Julianne and Ryan as well as three great grandchildren Trayvaun, Riley and Logan. Dear sister of Vera Matthews (Ellwood). Pre-deceased by her parents Maynard and Ethel McClelland, sisters Minnie Vipond (late Stewart), Betty Barkley (late Warren), and brother John (wife Dorothy). Kaye, at 81 years of age, leaves us with a legacy of humour, wit and kindness. Kaye never created a sad tear during her life. Following cremation in line with Kaye’s wishes a private family gathering was held and her ashes placed alongside her husband on the Garden Wall, Greenwood Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Luke’s Cathedral, 160 Brock St., Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario P6B6C8 or a charity of your choice. In a celebration of Kaye’s life the family would like to extend an invitation to friends and family to join them at The Moose Lodge, 543 Trunk Road, Sault Ste. Marie between the hours of 2 and 6 P.M., Monday, October 23, 2006.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Emma Godin at Tendercare Nursing Home, on Thursday, October 19, 2006. At the tender age of 94. Beloved wife for 57 years of the late Ralph Godin (pre-deceased in 1994), cherished mother of Carol Grandbois (Gerry) of Moncton N.B., Suzanne Chiasson (David), Bob, Gary (North Bay) and Denis Godin and the late Claudette Particelli of Toronto, Henry Particelli Jr. (Laurie) of Nashville Tenn., Renee Grandbois White (Colin), Jason Grandbois (Sonia) of Halifax, Peter Godin of Thunder Bay, Colin Godin of South Korea and Dan Chiasson. Great Grandmother of Max and Sebastian, Liam and Emma White and Jonah Grandbois. Emma is survived by her sisters Florette Hawken (Timmins), Paquerette Desgagne (Dubreuilville) and Helene Blais (Sudbury) and her brothers Augustin Dubreuil (Soulange) of Montreal and Marcel Dubreuil (Yoldande) of Sault Ste. Marie and the late Nap and Joachim Dubreuil and the late Theresa Roy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at O’Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home Monday, Oct. 23, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass Tuesday, Oct. 24, at Eglise Ste. Marie du Sault at 11 a.m. with Rev. Norman Fortier officiating, interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to Sault Area Hospital or Tendercare Residents Council would be appreciated. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of Tendercare Nursing Home for their T.L.C. and kindness. Emma loved you all and felt loved and cherished in return. We would also like to thank the Doctors and nursing staff in the emergency dept. and 200Yat SAH for their care during mom’s numerous hospital stays since 1999. We will never forget her wonderful smile and generous spirit. She was a gentle caring soul loved by everyone and will be in our hearts forever. Well will always miss you mom. Vous allez nous manquer enormement, chere petit maman.

Survived by Theresa (Lorenzi) Sangelais, the mother of his children Margaret Lorenzi (Hank Wiseman) of Sault Ste. Marie, Joseph and Michael Lorenzi of Saskatoon and Lauri-Ann Lorenzi of Edmonton. Special Dad to Lee-Ann (Reville) Chapman of Sault Ste. Marie. Dear son of the late Primo and Alice Lorenzi. Brother of Joseph J. Lorenzi of Sudbury and Ida Lloyd (Gordon Hunter). Brother in law to the late Peter Lloyd of Sault Ste. Marie. Grandfather of Nikita, Rochelle, Carlita and Nicholas Lorenzi of Saskatoon. Jessy Hamilton of Hamilton and Bernard Bo Lorenzi of Edmonton. Bernie will be greatly missed by his furry four legged friends Sassy, Suzie and Midnight. Most loved and cherished father of Mark (Susan) of Toronto, Blaine (Suzanne), Shane (Dorothy) of Montreal River, Craig (Charlotte), Jeff (Charlene), Diane (John) of Sudbury and Scott (Janeen). Loved and cherished grandfather of Cedar Dewar (Rob), Rainy (Melanie), Chancy (Melissa), Aiyana, Clay, Maya, Quinn, Cole, Hannah, Merrick, Trisha (Rob), Stephanie, Brittany, Jenna, Christopher, Paige and Gavin. Great grandfather of Angus. Dear son of the late Morris Sr. and Beaulah MacWilliam (nee Burton). Predeceased by his sisters June, Noreen and Beaulah. At the request of Morris, a private family service was held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, October 19, 2006. passed away in Sault Ste. Marie on Friday, October 20, 2006 at the age of 77 years. Survived by his wife Elizabeth. Dear father of Benjamin (Dawn) of Calgary, AB and Paul (Kim) of Yellowknife, NT. Dear grandfather of Jeffery and Zachary. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Frances Smith of Moose Jaw, SK. Brother of the late Donald of Saskatoon, SK. Sadly missed by his sister-in-laws Marj of Saskatoon, SK, Anne-Jane von Aulock (Klaus) of Cologne, Germany and Claire Strong of Sault Ste. Marie; his cousins Drs. Walter Lewis and Memory Elvin-Lewis of St. Louis, Missouri. Ben will be fondly remembered by his niece, nephews, godchildren, friends and colleagues in the education and arts community, where Ben was an educator in the Secondary Schools in Sault Ste. Marie for more than thirty years and he received Sault Ste. Marie's Medal of Merit for his contribution to the theatre and arts organizations, with Benjamin Smith Community Piano named in his honour. At the request of the family, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Luke's Cathedral (Brock Street) on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with the Very Reverend Garry Dobinson officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital - Cancer Care Clinic would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully, after a courageous battle, surrounded by love and angels on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at the Sault Area Hospital. Norine was one month short of her 91st birthday. Beloved wife of the late Clyde. We said goodbye to the loving mother of Linda Jonasson (Wayne) and Charles Courtney (Carol). Cherished Nana of Tracy Gingras (Ray), Kris Jonasson (Tammy), Eric Jonasson (Liz), Sarah Courtney (Matt) and Katie Courtney. She will be sadly missed by her two great grandchildren Sebastien and Courtney. Fondly remembered by her many friends at Horseshoe Bay and the Finnish Resthome (Kotitalo). Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Norine's Life at the Northwood Funeral Home on Saturday, November 18, 2006 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations made to the New Sault Area Hospital Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
