Loving and cherished mother of Lois O'Brien, Garth Aasan (Pauline), Nancy Aasan, Rhonda Kohler (Mike), Suzanne Tilley (Troy), Tammy Morgan (Andy), Tracey St. Germain (Danny) and Delmar Aasen (Christine). Loving grandmother of Scott, Brenda, Stephanie, Nicholas, Susan, Jessy, Brandon, Karen, Cole, Kylie, Parker, Michael, Kaitlyn, Grayson and Olivia. Great grandmother of Hailey. Our family announces with great sorrow the death of our husband and father Raymond Adrien at the age of 60 years, who passed way on Friday, January 6, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. Ray was born in Saint Fabien du Panet, Quebec October 28, 1945. He moved to Sudbury, then to Hanmer, Ontario when he was ten years old. He later moved to Sault Ste. Marie in November 1974. He leaves a legacy of cherished memories and smiles. Beloved husband and best friend of Theresa (Sawyer) of Capreol. Loving and proud father of Heidi of Ottawa, Raymond (Tania of Wawa), Wendy (Jason) of Sault Ste. Marie. Son of the late Louis-Aime Brisson and the late Marie-Anna (nee Marceau). Dear brother of Suzanne (Clarence Lewis), Solange (Roger Boudreau), Rolland (Jacqueline Asselin) and Jocelyn Kelm all of Hanmer, Ontario. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Ray will be remembered for his perseverance, smile, tact and wit. He loved his family, friends, his work, ski-dooing, flying and especially his camp. He loved to fish and to him, catching a fish was just a bonus. In loving memory of Arthur "Art" Simon, 84 years, passed away Friday, January 6th, 2006 at Espanola. Beloved husband of Kathleen (Morrish) Sidock of Espanola. Loving father of Dennis (wife Nancy) of Espanola, Gregory (wife Elise) of Elliot Lake and Alan (wife Joanne) of Copper Cliff. Cherished grandfather of Krista, Dereck, Bradley, Jaime Lynn, Nicholas, Alexandra and great grandchild Carson. Dear son of Joseph and Josephine Sidock both predeceased. Dear brother of Joseph (wife Gloria) of Blind River and Agnes (husband Anthony Mask) of Renfrew, predeceased by Michael and Leona Holley. Born in Little Rapids, Ontario, he married Kathleen in Parry Sound in 1946. Art served overseas during World War II as a Lance Corporal with The Canadian Army. He was a member of the War Pensioners of Canada. Art was active with the Espanola Minor Hockey Association and a life member and past president of the Espanola Curling Club. He owned and operated Art Sidock Plumbing and Heating Ltd. for 40 years, retiring in 1982. A memorial service will be held at the Espanola United Church, Tuesday, January 10th, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.

September 19, 1978 -December 30, 2005. Suddenly and tragically at the age of 27 years, along with her brother, Sean Michano (19 years old) and sister Justine Michano (17 years old). Beloved daughter of Jacqueline McGuirk and Bill Barley (Susan). Andrea was born on September 19, 1978 in Marathon, Ontario and moved to Thunder Bay with her family in 1996. She graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelors Degree in Social Development Studies followed by a Bachelors Degree in Education from the University of Windsor. Andrea's love for education and young children led to her becoming an elementary school teacher. She was very happy teaching junior kindergarten to grade 2 in Upsala, Ontario and thought the world of her students. Andrea will be sadly missed by her parents Jacqueline McGuirk, Bill and Susan Barley, stepfather Timothy Michano, sisters Jeanna Pryndik, Tracy Viau (Paul Herold) and special nephew Brady Viau. She will also be missed by her large family and many friends. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Thunder Bay, Ontario.
