Claire was predeceased by her mother Elizabeth Lamothe, her father Ephrem Lamothe, brothers Maurice, Wilfred (Willy) E (Edna), and Wilfrid Gerard, and sisters Rita Lamothe and Patricia Morettin. Claire valued her special friendship with Walter, Tom and Ann Feifel, and their family. Claire's life will be remembered at a private family celebration. She touched each of us in a very special way. Claire loved a stimulating political discussion, a good card game, and spending time around the kitchen table with family and friends. She always treasured summers at Sand Lake, and saying goodbye to the cabin would bring a tear to her eye. Claire was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force, and she touched many through her career and volunteer work. Her last words to us ... 'Love is the most important thing'. So in lieu of flowers we ask you to keep a loving heart. Give someone a hug. Give someone a hand up. Give someone a smile. Do it for Claire. Special thanks to Dr. Anne Lee, Lillian and Scott at Great Northern Retirement Home, Darlene in Palliative Care, and all other health care providers who cared so gently for our mother during her illness. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758).
