Suddenly at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, October 19, 2007 at the age of 67 years. Beloved wife and best friend of Mario. Loving and devoted mother of Catharine Zelinski (Mike). Devoted Nonna of her only grandchild Kate-Lyn Bronicheski who she loved more than life. Daughter of the late Angelo and Teresa Fardin. Dear sister of Maria Vespini (late Luigi) of Sault Ste. Marie, Angelina Fardin, Rosa Fardin, late Isseta Fardin, Elia Fardin and Tony Fardin (Maria) of Italy. Loving aunt to Frank Vespini, Robert Vespini (Rosa), Amanda Vespini, Bianca Vespini and several nieces and nephews in Italy. Dear sister-in-law of Caterina Casagrande (late Claudio) of Italy. Giovanna will always be remembered for her wit and generosity. There was never a dull moment. She will be missed dearly. Surrounded by her family on October 17, 2007 at the Sault Area Hospital General Site at the age of 90. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 67 years, Tony. Cherished mom of Anthony (Monica) and Joanne Brooks (Fred). Much loved Gram of Terri Brooks, Susan Dane (Kevin), Greg Brooks (Donna), Allison Hampton (Garth) and Thomas Ogden. Great grandmother of Alexandra and Mitchell Nisbet, Riley, Tarah and Erin Dane, Dustin and Derek Brooks and Maddy Hampton. Loving sister and mentor of Margaret Kostenuik (late Steve), Bill Milligan (late Ivy) and George Milligan (Delores). Sister-in-law of the late Art Bergamin (Caroline) and predeceased by Mary Newman (Ed), Arduina Pettenuzzo (Joe), and Jack Bergamin (Mae). Respected and treasured Auntie Nina to many nieces and nephews. She’ll always be remembered in the hearts of her club members and her friends at the Windsor Park. Left us to be with his beloved Nonie on Tuesday, October 16th, 2007 at the age of 84 years. The ache in our hearts is small compared to the pain he endured since his wife Leonora's passing just a few months ago. Poppa will be deeply missed by his son Norm (Pauline), his daughter Barbara Walker, his grandchildren Jeremy (Jenna), Matthew (Jenny), Marnie (Sandy), Mandy (Andy) and his good friend Doug Walker. Two great grandchildren Kaleigh Cliffe and Caleb Walker will grow up knowing Poppa's love. Fred's sisters Dorothy and Pat and his late brother John will miss their brothers' stories of his years overseas during the war. He will be fondly remembered by his many neices and nephews. Our hearts are filled with sadness as we say goodbye to a woman we called Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother but we know you have gone to be with your compagno (husband) Sam. Finuzza will be sadly missed by her three children Maria Miceli (Luigi), Rita Palumbo (Frank) and Joe Mancuso (Maria). She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, Tina Felice (Carmine) of Thunder Bay, Sam Palumbo (Charlene) of London, John Palumbo (Lynne), Rita Miceli, Lisa Aceti (Sam), Sandra Miceli, Lisa Carlucci (Sandy), Frank (Donna) of Windsor, Stefanie Micieli (Vincenzo) of Italy and Anita Mancuso. Nonna Finuzza will be greatly missed by her 14 great-grandchildren, Tiana, Sabrina and Frank Felice of Thunder Bay, Nicholas, Michael and Adam Palumbo of London, Jessica and Sammy Aceti, Cameron and Christina Palumbo, Vanessa Carlucci, Marc and Matthew Aceti and Sofia Micieli of Italy.
