Peacefully at the Tendercare Nursing Home with his loving wife by his side on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband for over 64 years to Mary Kathleen “Adeline” Mickusz Olsson. Loving father of Beverley Olsten (Ron), Lynne Pletch (Max) and Rozlyn Walker (Joe). Proud Grandpa of Jennifer Olsten, Mary Ellen Olsten, Krista Pletch and Andrea Emisch (Jeffrey). Dear brother of Noreen Smith (late George), Rodney Olsson (Rose) and predeceased by Lola Grimes (late Tim) and Sidney Olsson (Irene). Lionel will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Lionel worked for over 42 years as a trainman/conductor in the Schreiber Division. He was also a proud member of the Sault Ste. Marie Lions Club. Stepfather of Wayne Lotito of Rhode Island and Dennis Lotito of Florida. Brother of Nellie Miller (Jim) of Arizona, Berniece Keene (Tom) of Goulais River and the late Ralph Fitton (Jeannette). Brother-in-law of Gaye & Peter Lalonde, Lorna Mancuso, Lynn & Ashton Walker, Brenda & Robert Grealey, Darryl & Marilou Herman, Barbara & Donald Discher, Jerry Herman and Michael Herman. Cherished and adored mother and teacher of Brad (Brandy), Brent and Craig. Dearest grandmother of Olivia. Daughter of the late Roger and Frances Neave. Daughter in law of Muriel Young (late Lawrence). Loved sister of Dennis Neave (Susan), Gerry Neave (Carol) and Vivian Scott (Wayne). Sister in law of Garry Young (Louise) and Marilyn Young. Marjorie will forever be remembered and loved by her many nieces and nephews. Many close friends will remember her as a avid golfer, curler and dedicated sports Mom. Great Nonna of many grandchildren. Dear sister of Rita Fortino (late Frank). Sister-in-law of Adelina Giordano (late Giuseppe), Stan Greco (Francesca) of Italy and Angelina Greco (late Pasquale). Devoted and caring father of Maria Lenstra (Marvin) of Caledon, Ontario, Lucy Zimbaro (Frank), Angelo (Lori) of Brampton, Ontario and Franca Iachetta (John). He was the cherished Nonno of Robert Lenstra, Sabrina and Michael Zimbaro, Loran and Erin Pucci and Mia Iachetta. Son of the late Angelo and Maria Pucci-Vecchio. Son-in-law of the late Francesco and Lucia Leoci. Beloved brother of the late Antonia Baldacchino (late Giuseppe) of France, the late Concetta Lento (late Giuseppe) of Belgium, the late Francesca Spina (late Giuseppe) of Sault Ste. Marie, the late Santo (Caterina) of Sault Ste. Marie, Elvira Pati (late Pasquale) of Belgium, the late Giovanni (Emilia) of Sault Ste. Marie, the late Emilia Indraccolo (late Vito) of Sault Ste. Marie and Ida Veltri (Riccardo) of Sault Ste. Marie. Fiore will be fondly remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews and missed by his friends and neighbours. Fiore was a generous husband and father who had pride and love for his family. He made Canada his home to better his family and that he did. His love for gardening, salami and wine making and soccer will live on in his grandchildren. All who knew her were deeply saddened by the death of Katie Walker, a beloved grandmother, mother, wife and sister, on Friday, September 28, 2007. Mrs. Walker, who was 92, was born on Cockburn Island, Ontario in 1915. Her long and rich—but often sad—life was filled with the love of her family and her many friends and admirers, including the workers at Fairvern Nursing Home, Huntsville, Ontario. Her good humour, boundless compassion and strength were inspiring to all those whose lives she touched. Mrs. Walker was the wife of the late Albert Walker and mother of the late Lyall Pateman, the late Edith Osborne (Cal), Georgina Gregory of Huntsville, and the late Suzanne Walker. She was the beloved grandmother of Jane Osborne (George), Cal Osborne Jr. (Pam), Kathy Arbour (Mark), Karen Gregory (Devon), Abbie Lewis, Chuck Lewis (Tracy). Great-grandmother of Mitchell, Eric, Sarah, Brett, Daniel, Katelynn and Laura. Katie is survived by sisters Nelda Oakes (Grant) of Providence Bay and June Strassburger of Kitchener, brothers Douglas MacKay of Sault Ste. Marie and Norman MacKay (Jean) of Kitchener. Resting at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon, Ontario where friends may call on Monday October 1, 2007 from 2pm until time of service at 3 o’clock, The Reverend Dr. John Porter officiating. Interment will be at the Maple Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Alzheimer’s Society (Muskoka) or Friends of Fairvern, Huntsville, would be much appreciated.

Brother of John Rivers (Alana), Gordon Van Doorselaere, Sandra Rivers, Carl Rivers (Aimee). Dear friend of Christine Nichols and daughter Caitlyn. Sadly missed by his 5 nephews and 3 nieces. Survived by his many aunts, uncles and friends. Grandson of the late Alex and Anna Bordeleau and the late Gordon Stephens and Rosie Van Doorselaere.
