A quiet gentle man left this world on Saturday February 3, 2007; peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn. Theresé in her 80th year, was delivered peacefully into the hands of our Lord on Saturday February 3, 2007, surrounded by her loved ones. Beloved wife of Lloyd for more than 51 years. Loving mother of Mark (Cheryl), Louise Lacchin (Louis), Nancy Thomas (Darren Black) and Patricia Hoover (Tim). Cherished grandma to Melissa (Dan), Nicole, Danielle, Justin, Jacqueline and Mathew. Dearest great grandmother of Triniti. Fondly remembered by her step-grandchildren Brittany, Brock and Jodan. Daughter of the late Joseph and Louise Gauvin. Sadly missed by her brothers and sisters Celestine, Germaine, Leonard, Lucienne, Laurienne, Liliane, Ceryse and Eloi and predeceased by Jeanne, Noel, Ernestine, Alphonsine, Simone and Raymond. Dear sister-in-law of Annette, Joanne and Peter. Greatly missed by numerous friends and relatives, especially Jeanne and Kimberly who provided tremendous support. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church (293 St. Georges Avenue East) on Wednesday February 7, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Jareslaw Lazoryk officiating. Following a committal service at Greenwood Cemetery Chapel, a luncheon will be held at the church to celebrate Theresé’s life.
