passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the Extendicare Tendercare Nursing Home on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Carl. Loving mother of Joseph 'Buddy' (Pat), Louis (Lucille), Raymond (Brenda) and Randy (Sandra). Cherished grandmother of Ken (late Karen), Kim (Jack), Kristine (Dayne), Larry (Kathy), Michael (late Melody), Laurie (Matthew), Danny, Derick, Kristian and Marissa (Adam). Great grandmother of 16 and great great grandmother of 3. Leonora is survived by her brother and sisters Albert DiGiamberardine, Mary Crema, Algisa Stocco, Norma DiGiamberardine, Elsie Leishman, Louise Savino and predeceased by Orman, Jean Donofrio and Stella Guerriero. Sister-in-law of Philomena and predeceased by Matthew (Jean), Eugene (Mary), Mario, Beatrice Mauro (Trent), Assunta Spina (Louis) and Valentino. Leonora will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Friday, November 28, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations made to St. Veronica's Church Memorial Fund or ARCH (Algoma Residential Community Hospice) would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully at the Plummer Hospital on Friday, November 7, 2008 at the age of 65. Beloved wife of the late Floyd. Loving mother of Cindy Weeks (Lori), Daren Weeks (Suzanne), Linda Warren (George), Debbie Larocque (Jeff), Sherry Densmore, and Colleen Hochgeschurz (Eric). Her 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren will greatly miss their loving grandma and nana. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Sunday, November 9, 2008 from 12 noon until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 pm. Mr. Bruce Cain officiating. After a long and courageous battle, surrounded by her loving family at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on November 5, 2008. Beloved wife and best friend of Ahti for 45 years. Devoted mother of Maritta Ollinaho, Susan Polkki (Andrew) and Nancy Ollinaho. Special Mummu to Tiia, Jaako, Erika, Janika, Nikolas and Johannes. Special cousin to Anna. She will also be sadly missed by all her family and friends in Finland and Canada. A special thank you to Dr. Walde and the staff at the SAH Cancer Clinic and to Dr. Buehner and the entire staff at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice. A funeral service will be held at the Finnish Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 11 am. Interment on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 10 am in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the SAH Cancer Care Fund or Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) would be appreciated by the family.

Son of the late Edith See and Anthony Yukich. Loving and devoted father to Stephen (Angela), Melissa Lennox (Robert) and Jason (Kathy). Special Deda to Jacob, Samantha, Katie, Isaac, Sarah and Laura. Dear brother to Buddy, the late Brian (Kim), Bob Stares, Joy Pinter (Stephen) and Jayne Scornaienchi (Sam). Dear brother-in-law to Marion Armesto (Paul), Betty Mathison (Garnet), Maurice Martin (Carole), Bernadette Bell (late John Martin), and Tom Martin. Ray (Sonny) will be fondly remembered by his many cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, November 10, 2008 from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated in the chapel at 1 pm. Rev. Jim Moffatt officiating. Interment of cremated remains West Korah Cemetery. A special thank you to Dr. Walde and the Oncology staff, as well as all the nurses at the Sault Area Hospitals who have cared for Ray over the years. To the wonderful staff at ARCH, we thank you for helping Ray to experience a small piece of heaven on earth. Died peacefully with his family by his side after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Friday, November 7, 2008 at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of Antonia for 50 years. Loving father of Paula Zagordo (Geno), Roger Zanatta (Kim) and Robert Zanatta (Marie). Dearest nonno of Tiana (Mike) and Natalie Zagordo, Katie Zanatta, Corey, Mia and Jenna Zanatta. Brother of Savina Zanatta (late Luigi), Lina Frassetto (late Roger), Anna Soligo (late Arduino), Rino Zanatta (Carla), Arturo Zanatta (Zita), Settimo Zanatta (Gloria) and Ferrucio Zanatta (Louisella). Brother-in-law of Louis Girardi (Mary), Noris Ragogna (John) and Donella Gabriel (Joe). He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Corrado loved being in the company of friends and family and enjoyed his many travels. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Gregory's Church on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Monsignor Victor Amadio officiating. Special thanks to Dr. Ishak and Dr. Shehata of Sudbury for their unwavering commitment to him. A debt of gratitude for the compassion and dedication shown by all the nurses and staff of Sudbury Regional Cancer Center. Thank you to Dr. Schwartz and Dr. Ianni. Special thanks to Dr. Buehner for her personal attention and compassion. passed away quietly at Extendicare Van Daele on Monday, November 3, 2008 in her 91st year. Life partner of the late Delmar J. Cullen, wife of the late Hartley G. Kell and Fernand A. Masse. Loving daughter of the late Joseph and Margery Stone of England. Sister of the late Margery Hammill (late Richard) and Joseph Stone (Pat). Survived by her sister Edna Tarr (late Trevor) & family of England; cousin and best friend June Oliverio (Ernie) of Sault Ste. Marie and her devoted friend, Lorna Ferguson. Myrtle was a strong believer in community and family. She was a supporter of the arts and was an active member of the Art Gallery of Algoma, SSM Museum, Genealogical Society, Sault Naturalists, Y Hikers and the Horticultural Society. Over the years Myrtle attended St. Luke's and St. Matthews' Anglican Churches and St. Andrews United and Holy Trinity Churches. Myrtle will be fondly remembered by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and association members, the many lives she touched during her travels, and the caring staff and 3rd floor angels at Extendicare Van Daele. Friends are invited to a Memorial Service at Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Munroe Scott officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A reception will follow in the lower lounge of the Northwood Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Algoma University, the Humane Society, the church or charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Loving and cherished mother of Larry (Betty Ann), Terry (Marlene), Phil (Kathie) and Tracy Cavallo (Gino). Special Noni of Roberta Lynn (Al), Christina (Claude), Christopher (Lori), Mark, Matthew (Sarah), Jennifer, Kimberly (Tomy) and Miranda. Great grandmother of Matthew, Julia, Alexia and Ethan. Dear sister of Delchi Girardi (Eva), Norma Capancioni (Essi), the late Gino Girardi (late Elena) and the late Aldo Girardi (Theresa). Sister-in-law of the late Aldo and Elva Zuccato. Survived by many nieces and nephews and her very special friends. Elsie was a long time member of the Elettra Marconi Society Executive, a recipient of the EMS Attilio Orazietti Achievement Award in 1987 and the recipient of the EMS Anna Bernardi Women of the Year Award in 1998. Elsie also was a volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society for 40 years. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, November 7, 2008 from 6-9 pm and on Saturday, November 8, 2008 from 8:30 am until 9:30 am. Funeral mass to be celebrated from St. Veronica's Catholic Church on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 10 am. Father Ron Ambeault officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Dear brother of Jack (Peggy), Bob (Fran), late Donald (Lucille), late Chester (late Barbara), late Neil (late Irma), late Helen Davidson (late Russell) and the late Dorothy Gladwyn (late Ivan). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. At Douglas' request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
