(Nov.7/42-Oct.20/08) - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a dear husband and father, called home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Monday, October 20, 2008. Survived by his best friend, and the love of his life, Patricia Ann Lawrence (nee Snider). Dearly missed by his children: Brad Lawrence (Maxine), Susan Lawrence (Frank D'Elia), Michelle Schuster (Paul) and Craig Lawrence (Stacey). Adored by his 13 grandchildren: Bryce, Sarah, Macey, and Jenna; Alicia and Francesco; Luke, Isaac, Rachel, and James; Devin, Austin, and Cassidy. Bob will be greatly missed by his brothers David (late Leona), Marshall (Helen), Doug (Elsie) and his sister Gaye Stillwell (late Roy). Also survived by brothers-in-law Bob Snider (Karen) and Glen Snider (Kathy). Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. With a zest for life and an amazing positive attitude, Bob touched the lives of many. He was dedicated to serving the Lord and held a special place in his heart for his church family at Calvary Baptist Church in Desbarats. He will be greatly missed. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, October 24, 2008 from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm, and Saturday, October 25, 2008 from 11am until 12 pm when you are invited to join with them in a celebration of his life. Reverend Dan Smith officiating. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Gordon Lake. The family requests any memorial contributions be made to the SAH Cancer Care Fund or the Expansion Fund of Calvary Baptist Church, Desbarats.

passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 3rd, 2008 surrounded by his wife Polly Hill and close family and friends. He is survived by his brothers Frank (Julie), Bruno (Ruth), Joe (Lisa) and sisters Connie Carello (late Frank), Rosemary (Don Bruni) and has gone to be with his brother Rosario and his Mom Margherita and Dad Salvatore in heaven. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. At Cosimo's request there will be no visitation. A private Memorial Service was held at the City Bible Church, Tuesday, October 7th with Rev. Sam Norbo officiating. A 'Celebration of Life' in memory of Cosimo will he held on Friday, October 24th, 2008 at the G. Verdi Hall starting at 7 p.m. All friends are welcome. Bring your funny stories, memories, speeches, pictures, memorabilia and absolutely anything to help us celebrate the unique and free spirit named Cosimo Tassone. Memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the New SAH Building Fund would be gratefully accepted. The family would like to thank all the Angels working at Sault Area Hospital. God Bless You all. Dr. Keith, Dr. Fratesi, Dr. Lee and Dr. Walde and all nursing staff with special thanks to Anna, John, Sarah, and Loida. At the Sault Area Hospital (General Site) on Saturday, October 11, 2008. Elizabeth Albanese beloved wife of the late Achille (Aggie) Albanese. Dear mother of Emilio Albanese, Kelly Principe (Sam), Domenica Farkas (Frank), Cynthia Fremlin (Rod), and Clara Madonna (Tony). Grandmother of Jody, Frankie, David, Danny, Kelly-Lynn, Crystal, Jay and Achille. Daughter of the late Daniel and Christina MacDonald. Sister of Jackie, Nora, Tillie, Allie and the late Julia, Mary Alex, Sammy and Hughena. In keeping with Dolly’s wishes a private funeral service took place on Friday, October 17th at O’Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home with Rev. Norman Fortier officiating, followed by entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Today Dolly and Aggie are reunited on the 21st Anniversary of Aggie’s Death. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

passed away peacefully at the Plummer Palliative Care in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the age of 84. Loved mother of Gaëtan LaFrance of Montreal, QC, Diane LaFrance (Alphonse) of St. Eugene, ON and Louise Caron (Noël) of Ottawa, ON. She will be sadly missed by her sisters and brothers: Pauline Drouin (late Hervé) of North Bay, Ghislaine Cappellani (late Adelce) of Campbell River, René Leclerc (Rose) of Sault Ste. Marie, Gabriel Leclerc of Wawa and Gilles Leclerc (late Shirley) of Kelowna. Dear sister-in-law of Marie-Marthe Leclerc (late Yvon) of Sudbury. Yvette is predeceased by her parents Ovilda and Blanche-Aurore Leclerc and sisters Simonne, Jeannette, Armande and brothers Laurent and Robert Leclerc. Also sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. At Yvette's request, no visitation or service will be held. Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation or to the SAH Foundation would be appreciated.

Suddenly on Sunday, October 18th, 2008 at his home. Larry (L.J.) Johnston in his 51st year. Loving father of Larry (mother Anna Massolin). Son of the late Shirley and David Johnston. Cherished brother of Bonnie Doncaster (Bryan), Judy Dondrea (Jeff) and Brother Doug Martin. Larry will be missed by uncles Bob Clement (late Johann) and Ray Clement (Peggy) and will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Larry's life on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008 at O'Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home Cremation Centre, corner of Cathcart and St. James Sts. From 11 am until time of service in the Chapel at 1 pm pm. with Rev. Sam Norbo officiating. Cremation to follow. passed away suddenly at home on Thursday October 16, 2008 at the age of 71. Son of the late John and Lenora Fisher. Dear and loving father of Susan Bursche (Peter), Shelly Fisher of Whitehorse, Daniel, Mark (Anne Bostelaar), Shannon McCain (Steve) of Peterborough, Raymond of Cambridge and Robert of Gatineau. Grandfather to Paul & Stacey Bursche, Ricky & Sharlene Weihers, Jonathan & Joshua Fisher and Samantha McCain. Brother of Shirley Bailey-Meeks (Chuck) (late Russell) and Crystal Bringleson (Phillip Creor). Remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and one surviving Aunt. A special thanks to all Ray's friends and neighbours who have been there for him throughout the years. Ray was a private and proud man and in respecting his wishes a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sault Ste. Predeceased by his parents Leslie and Vivian Gallagher of Timmins, Ontario. Dear husband and best friend of Pauline (nee Shields). Proud and loving dad to Dean (Darlene) of Sault Ste. Marie and Randy (Ramona) of Hamilton, Ontario. Cherished 'Pa' to Sarah and Jenna of Sault Ste. Marie, Samantha and Alexandra of Hamilton, Ontario and Doreen Marinovich (Doe) 'the daughter I never had'. He will be sadly missed by many family members and friends. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Highway Church on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Veselko Kvesic officiating. Great grandpa of Kylie. Son of the late Albert and Jenny King and the late Frieda King. Brother of Albert "Butch" (Linda), Wayne (Carol), Ross (Linda), Gerald "Sam", Jane Kent (Lynn), Karen Keene (Louis), Starr Johnson (Harvey) and Roger Masson (Bernie). Brother in law of Alba Modolo, the late Angelina Roy (Patrick) and the late Marina Trinca (Lino). Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held at 393 Dovercourt on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 in the common room between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.(Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 759-2522.)
