Peter KLYM

It is with great sadness that the Klym family announces the passing of Peter Klym after a courageous struggle on August 4, 2007. He was surrounded by family. Peter will be fondly remembered by his wife Margaret and much loved sons Michael and Stephen. He will also be greatly missed by his caring and devoted sister Rose. Peter was an exceptionally hard working man who spent his life dedicated to multiple facets of the Canadian labour movement. His family will remember him as a steadfastly reliable and caring man who loved to spend his free time working in the garden, fishing at the cottage, and being with friends and family. He will be fondly remembered by all. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends at the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village (Ajax) 905-428-8488 from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday and 2-4 p.m. on Thursday. Memorial service will take place in the chapel on Thursday August 9, 2007 at 4:00p.m.

David Bowes-Lyon

passed away peacefully after a valiant battle with cancer on Thursday August 16, 2007 at the Toronto General Hospital in his 58th year. Cherished husband of Elizabeth for 33 years. Loving father of Marianne (Michael Pearson) and Andrea (William Dickenson). Brother of Diane (Jean Wagner), Douglas (Diane) and Deborah (Richard Ward) and brother-in-law of David (Madeline). Son-in-law of Flora Rodier. Dave will also be sadly missed by many other family members and friends.The family will receive friends at the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village (Ajax) 905-428-8488 from 2-4 Sunday and 7-9 Monday. Funeral Service at 11:00 am on Tuesday August 21, 2007 at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (143 Main St. N, Markham, ON). Peacefully passed away after a courageous battle on Wednesday, July 18th, 2007 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital in her 49th year. Devoted wife and best friend of Frank for over 20 years. Loving mother of Shannon, Kayla and Alana. Fondly remembered by her brother, James, and his family Shawna, Corey and Kelly. She will be sadly missed by her brother in-law Domenic, his wife Debbie, their children David and Jonathan, and her in-law’s, Quirico and Palma Monopoli. Friends and family will be received at the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village (Ajax) 905-428-8488 on Friday, July 20th, 2007 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held in the chapel on Saturday, July 21st, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Predeceased by her husband Lawrence, her son Larry and her sister Joan. 83 years, on July 30, 2007. Late of Windsor. Beloved husband to Elizabeth. Loving father of Peggy Revait; Loretta and husband Joe Brennan. Predeceased by his stepsons Henry(2002) and Herman 'Butch' Desmarais (1990). Dear 'Grandpa from Toronto' to Jim and Joanne Garrick, of Edmonton; Aaron Garrick and Joanne; Todd Garrick and Diana; Mike and Kim Brennan, of Stouffville; Marty and Brandie Brennan; Mariette Brennan and also John and Shawn Martinuk. Survived by 7 great-grandchildren. Dear brother to Ray (Catherine); Robert (Veronica); Ruby Puffer; Mable and Mick Rivait; Jack (Ron); and the late Don (1988). Dear brother-in-law of Mary Margery Revait and will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Harold was a proud veteran of WWII, and was a founding member of the Royal Canadian Naval Association (Windsor Branch). Visiting Wednesday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (519-735-2830). A veteran's service under the auspices of the Windsor Veteran's Memorial Services Committee, R.C.Legion Br. 555 and the R.C. Naval Association will take place on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Parish prayers Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. The funeral will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home to the Church of the Atonement, 2940 Forest Glade Drive, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Michael Graham will be the celebrant. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In kindness, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 2109 Ottawa St., Suite 280, Windsor N8Y 1R8 or to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, 2220 Kildare Rd, Windsor N8W 2X3 be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Harold Revait in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 30, 2007. All are welcome.

WAGG, Margaret Jeannette (nee Cormier) - Unexpectedly yet peacefully on Sunday, July 29, 2007 at Upper Canada Lodge (N-O-T-L) in her 86th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Ivan (1990). Daughter of the late Maude DeForest and Phil Cormier. Loving mother of Pat Wiebe (Edward) and Woody "Elwood" Wagg (Virginia). Cherished grandma of Matthew Wiebe (Mary), Wendy Wiebe (Karl Bowley), Becky Kramer (Cole) and Amanda Boyer (Chris). Adored great-grandma to Matthew Jr., Cheyenne, Cameron, Katey, Abbey, Garrett, Nicholas, Natalie and Ava. Predeceased by her great-grandchildren Talia and Nathan Bowley. Survived by sister Pauline Riddle (Sandy), sister Yvonne McNamara (the late Tom). Predeceased by her brothers Jack, Bud and Bruce. Margaret will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. At Margaret's request, cremation has taken place with a private family interment to follow at a later date.
