Mr. Tito Di Giancroce
February 4, 1941 - August 11, 2007

Visitation Information: Wednesday, August 15th from 6-9 p.m. at the Highland Funeral Home and Cremation Centre located at 3280 Sheppard Avenue East.
Funeral Service: Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 1 p.m. at the Highland Funeral Home and Cremation Centre located at 3280 Sheppard Avenue East.
Interment: Highland Memory Gardens located at 33 Memory Gardens Lane.

Mrs. Louise McCartney
October 24, 1932 - August 10, 2007

At Maitland Manor, Goderich on Friday August 10, 2007. Louise was relieved of her earthly body and died serenely in her sleep. She was born in 1932 in Perth County to Mark and Edna Jones, educated at Williamsburg P.S., Kitchener Waterloo Collegiate, Toronto Western Hospital Nursing School and UWO, LOndon. Her working life was spent as a registered nurse at McKellar Hospital in Thunder Bay, ON, followed by 17 years of happy retirement in Goderich and Venice, FL. She is predeceased by her parents, Mark & Edna Jones, her brother Aaron, her husbands Richard Tremblay and Albert McCartney and her dogs Friday and Elka. She is survived by her sister Argelyn Strote, stepchildren Carol Grohl (Ray) and Gary McCartney (Cathy), 6 nieces and nephews and her current dog pal, Starr. At Louise's request, there will be no funeral home visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. A private interment of cremated remains will be held at Maitland Cemetery on Saturday August 18, 2007. Friends and relatives are invited to a Celebration of Louise's Life on Saturday August 18, from 1-4 PM to be held at the home of her sister Argelyn Strote, 55 Nelson Street East, Goderich. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada or the Huronia SPCA gratefully acknowledged and may be arranged through McCallum & Palla Funeral Home, Goderich.

Mr. Michael David Baillargeon
September 4, 1944 - August 14, 2007

Michael David Baillargeon, 62 years, peacefully, on August 14, 2007 surrounded by his family. Beloved son of the late Raoul (2005) and Beverley (nee Lewis) (1998). Dear brother to Ron, Rick, Ralph (desc. 2002), Ken and wife Cindy, Lynn and husband Doug Robinson. Dear uncle to Katie and husband Vince Wallace; Melissa; Jenny; Doug Jr.; Andrea and Nicholas. Great-uncle to Kaylee and Haileigh. Michael was a professor of Computer Science and had worked at the University of Windsor for 23 years. Visiting Thursday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh . Prayers Thursday at 7:30 p.m. The funeral will be held on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Anne Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Robert Couture will be the celebrant. Interment at St. Anne Cemetery. In kindness, a donation to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Michael Baillargeon in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 30, 2007. All are welcome.

March 10, 1959 - August 12, 2007

O'HARA, Wannetta Jayne, surrounded by family and friends at the Belleville General Hospital on Sunday, August 12, 2007 in her 49th year. Daughter of Owena Somerville and the late Howard Somerville.Beloved wife of Bill Hanna. Loving mother of Ronald McCloskey (Nicole) of Campbellford. Loving step-mother of Ryan Hanna of Belleville. Dear sister of Robin Leo (the late Frank) of Toronto, Ron Somerville (Eirin) of Castleton, and Jackie Somerville of Colborne. Loved by her grandchildren Hayden, Hailey, Jacob and Olivia. Dear sister -in-law of Bev Hanna-Jones (Phil), and Sandy Parypa (Bill) all of Belleville. Also loved by her niece and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call at the BURKE FUNERAL HOME, 150 Church St., Belleville on Wednesday from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. A private graveside service will take place at a later date. Memorial donations to the Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

May 28, 1953 - August 12, 2007

passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 12, 2007 at the age of 54. Loving wife and best friend of Michael for 20 years. Cherished daughter of Leo and Mary Lou Brown of Windsor. Loving sister of Brenda and Dennis Robertson of Mississauga, Joanne and Rick O'Neil of Tecumseh, Cheryl and Robert Chartrand of Tecumseh, Michelle and John Castellano of Windsor and the late Leo Brown Jr. (1999) and his wife Nancy of Tecumseh. Loved daughter -in-law of Betty and the late Larry Gagnon. Beloved sister-in-law of Nicki and George Brooks, Terry and Jolayne Gagnon, Carol Biddle, Patrick Gagnon and Marcia Ouellette. Loving Aunt of Ashley Robertson, Jennifer Campbell, Lyndon, Katie and Kevin Brown, J.J. and Matthew Castellano, Andrew and Justin Chartrand, Michelle and Chris Gagnon, Meaghan and Alex Biddle and Ashley Ouellette. Diane also leaves behind many cherished aunts, uncles, and friends. A heartfelt thank you to the many health care providers in the Windsor area, and especially the University of London Transplant Unit for giving her 20 extra years of life. In memory of Diane please sign your Organ Donor Card. Visiting on Tuesday from 7-9 and Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh . Visiting will continue on Thursday August 16, 2007 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 834 Raymo Road, Windsor at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Dino Salvador will be the celebrant. Cremation to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Diane in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 30, 2007. All are welcome.

September 4, 1912 - August 20, 2007

Suddenly at Etobicoke General Hospital on Monday August 20, 2007 in his 95th year. Loving husband of the late Mary. Beloved father of Mary Hallam (Gord) and Phil Spoto (Jean). Loving grandfather of Cathy Wrigley (Bruce), David Hallam, Joanne Noble (Dan), Michael and Phillip Spoto. Great-grandfather of Joel and Carley Wrigley, Devin, Keenan, and Brenna Noble. Dear brother-in-law of Lena Spoto (Albert). Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by four brothers and two sisters. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Lynett Funeral Home, 3299 Dundas Street West (one block east of Runnymede Rd.) Visitation to take place on Thursday August 23, 2007 from 2 - 4:00 p.m. and 7 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral prayers will be held Thursday evening. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 280 Rathburn Rd. (at Renforth Dr.) on Friday August 24, 2007 at 12:30p.m. Followed by burial at Mount Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.

GNYP, Iris (nee Savchetz)

passed away suddenly with family by her side at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital August 22, 2007 at the age of 73. Beloved wife of the late Alex (2004). Loving and devoted mother of Dina Gnyp and Greg Gnyp. Dear sister Leda Law and family and Rita Fetter and family. Will be missed by all the cats. Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Morris Sutton Funeral Home.

Mr. Ernest O'Desse
July 22, 1926 - August 18, 2007

passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday August 18th, 2007 in his 82nd year. Loving husband to Solange O'Desse for 54 years. Father to Anita Sullivan (Dean), Michael (Jeanne), Stan and Murray (Trudy). Grandfather to 7 special grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Brother to Eleanor Beausoleil (Allan). Ernest will be sadly missed by his many relatives. Friends will be received at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home on Tuesday August 21st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, August 22nd at 11 a.m. at St. Ann's Church. If desired, donations may be made to the Georgian Bay Lung Association or to the Huronia Hospitals Foundation-Long Term Care.
