Mr. Harry Donald Harragin
January 2, 1920 - August 30, 2007

HARRAGIN, Harry Donald "Don" at the Belleville General Hospital on Thursday August 30, 2007 in his 88th year.
Son of the late Albert and Lois Harragin. Dear husband of Helen Bernice Harragin and the late Margaret Ellis and the late Helen Puncheon. Loving father of Patricia Whitehead (the late Wilfred) of Trenton, Audrey Tuck of Trenton and Donalda Melbourne of Deseronto. Also predeceased by infant daughter Elaine Harragin. Dear Step-father of David Bridge (Marcia), Art Bridge, Beverly Belshaw (Barry) and Doug Bridge (Wendy).
Dear brother of Adele Rupert and Faye Saxon both of B.C. Loved by his 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to gather at Eastminster United Church, Belleville on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, with Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. Reception will follow in Eastminster Church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Hospice Quinte or Eastminster United Church would be appreciated by the family. BURKE FUNERAL HOME

March 26, 1941 - September 3, 2007

Harrison, Colleen - Suddenly, with her children by her side on Monday September 3, 2007 at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga at the age of 66. Beloved mother of Wayne, Norman (Susan), Brenda Borgh (Corrado), and April Williams (Tim). Loving grandmother of Stephanie, Samantha, Sarina, Tyler, Spencer, Hunter, Corey, Marc, Justin and Owen. Will also be missed by her good friends Murray and Gail Harrison, sister Tammy Bandy her husband Tim and family.
Visitation will take place at the Glen Oaks Reception Centre, 3164 9th Line (at Dundas), Oakville on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place in the chapel on Friday at 4:00 p.m. followed by a reception at 5:00 p.m. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundations would be appreciated by the family.

Dear meme of Michael, Patrick, Bob, Renee, Michelle and Mark. Former mother-in-law to Elaine. Dear sister of Bernice Gauthier and Maurice, predeceased by Lorraine and Wilfred. Dear sister-in-law of Madeleine Mousseau and Sarto Dionne. Dear godmother of Nathalie and the late Georgine. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Marie was a long standing member of the Good Neighbour Club. Mrs. Florence W. Maskell
October 8, 1911 - September 2, 2007

At Pinecrest Manor on Sunday, September 2, 2007, Florence Williamena (Sowerby) Maskell, formerly of Goderich and Colborne Twp. in her 96 year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Maskell. Sister of Jean Volland of Huronview. Also survived and loved by many nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by sisters Hannah Mitchell, Evelyn McNeil and brothers Reginald and Benson Sowerby. Friends may call at McCallum and Palla Funeral Home, Goderich on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday morning at 11am. Mrs. Iris May Ahlstedt
October 17, 1925 - September 8, 2007

AHLSTEDT, Iris May (nee Gadsdon) - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Iris May Ahlstedt at St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday, September 8, 2007, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Axel Gerhardt Ahlstedt (1985), loving mother of Jill (Ian) Brindle of St. Catharines, Janet (Richard) Spratt of St. Catharines, Jeff (Shayna) Ahlstedt of Whitby, and John (Morna) Ahlstedt, Iris is survived by her brother Eric of Paignton, Devon England. She will be missed by her eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and her friend of many years Ed Woolner. Iris arrived in Canada from England in 1946 as the bride of William (Bill) Williams. Always young at heart, vibrant, and active, she has been a loving mother and grandmother and has enjoyed helping others as a personal support worker for Comcare, St. Catharines. Friends will be received at the BUTLER FUNERAL HOME (33 Duke St., St. Catharines) on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 from 7-9 pm. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the St. Catharines General Hospital (Cardiac/ Trauma Unit) would be appreciated by the family.

Mrs. Selma Mary Wodzak-Smith

WODZAK-SMITH, Selma Mary at her residence with her family at her side on Saturday September 08, 2007, in her 95th year. Daughter of the late John and Adelheid Maschke. Beloved wife of the late Max Wodzak and the late Gordon Smith. Loving mother of Irene Roluf Drew (late Carl Roluf & Ernest Drew) of Belleville, Selma McComb (late John) of Belleville, Max Wodzak (Donna) of Ohio, Sylvia Grills (late Gerald) of Belleville, Kenneth Wodzak (Karen) of Ohio, Judith Leeson (William) of Belleville. Predeceased by her twin children infant daughter Georgina Wodzak and son George Wodzak. Loved by daughter-in-law Wilma Wodzak of Belleville. Loved by her step children Patsy Woods (Gilbert), Carmen Smith (Shirley), Linda Tranmer (Ronald), Ronald Smith (Brenda), Donald Smith (Debbie), Doris Boulet, Valerie Browning (Ronald) and Brian Boulet (Arlene Brouwers). Loved and adored by her 20 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Selma was instrumental in developing the Lutheran Church in Belleville in the late 1940's. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the BURKE FUNERAL HOME, 150 church St., Belleville. Funeral service will be held from Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 516 Victoria Ave., Belleville on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Krister Ulmanis officiating. Interment Belleville Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

Ms. Nancy Anne Bonk
October 7, 1954 - September 3, 2007

BONK, Nancy Anne, in her 52nd year, lost a very short battle with cancer, at University Hospital on Monday, September 3, 2007. Nancy's children, Jennifer, Jessica, and Scott will miss their Mom more than words can say, but Nancy's love, kindness, strength and determination she showed over their lifetime, should help guide them through this most difficult time. Her spirit will remain with them forever. Nancy was predeceased by her father, Alfred (1965) and her mother, Betty (2006), both whom she sorely missed. She was loved and will be truly missed by her older sister Susan (Ken) Monk of Harrietsville and her younger sister, Deborah Porter of London. Also loved by her nieces and nephews, Jeff (Sylvie) Monk of Belmont and Karen (Chris) Weverink of Dorchester, Jason (Lindsay) and their daughter Keely Porter, and Matthew (Krystal) Porter, all of London. Nancy will be sadly missed by her partner Van McLeod and the Dickert family. Nancy touched so many lives in so many ways, she was such a giving person. She will always be remembered for her love, friendship and generosity. Special thanks to Dr. Dingle and Dr. Slaughter and their staff, at both Victoria and University Hospitals, for the wonderful care given to Nancy for the short time she was there. As her final wish, a private family service was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In remembrance, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be kindly accepted.

Mr. Henry Bernard Clemmensen
February 13, 1916 - September 7, 2007

CLEMMENSEN, Henry B. - Peacefully at Linhaven on Friday, September 7, 2007 at the age of 91. Loving father of Lorraine Evenson (Gib), Gary (Debbra Beauregard) and Candice Willson (Ken Stapleton). Cherished grandpa of Blake Evenson (Cheryl), Dwayne Evenson, Jeff Clemmensen (Liz), Lisa Clemmensen, Corey Willson and Damon Willson. Great-grandpa of Bradley Evenson, Alisha Clemmensen, Kassidy Clemmensen, Megan Clemmensen and Hunter Tatyi. At Henry's request, cremation has taken place with a private family service to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Catharines Association for Community Living or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the PATRICK J. Batley, Donald George - ( WWII Veteran ) Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Hospital Drive Site on Saturday, September 8, 2007 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine Batley (nee Sittler) and the late Gladys Batley. Loving father of Jim (Mary), Cheryl and Fred (Judy). Dear foster father of Ken (Anne) Prentice and Mauri Prentice. Loving grandfather of Terry (Joanne), Adam, Jessica, Stacey, Sarah Batley, Will, Lisa, Stephanie, Patricia and Amanda Prentice. Great grandfather of Raeven, Tristin and Morgan. Dear brother of Marg Batley, Thelma DeCarlo, Robert "Rock" Batley, Art Batley and Edith Huard. Also missed by his caregiver, Jenn Campbell. Predeceased by his daughters Margaret and Muriel, son, Robert and brother James Batley. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL (600 Monaghan Rd. S.) on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 from 6-9 p.m. A Legion Service will be held at 5:45 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the Nisbett Chapel with visitation 1 hour prior. Rev. Dr. Robert Root officiating. Interment to follow at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. In memory of Don, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
