CRUM, GEORGE FRANCIS, JR. - Musical Director Emeritus and Conductor of the National Ballet of Canada for 33 years died after a short illness on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at the Southlake Regional Health Care Centre, at the age of 80.
Beloved husband of Patricia Snell Crum. Adored father of Jennie(Russ Coles) and Angie (Allen Derr).
Loving grandpa to Mollie and James, Sammie, Cassie, Kyle, Emily and Mack. Extended grandpa to Louie, Latisha, Destiny, Chris, Jenn, Jess and many others.Dear brother of Susan Mollenhauer and Alanna Snell. Loving Dad and grandpa to Pudie and Beckham. Kathleen Elizabeth Laprise (nee Richards), 53 years, on September 10, 2007 surrounded by her family. Loving mother of David and Jamie Johnson; and Bradley. She will also be remembered in a special way by her husband Ray Laprise. Dear daughter of Lily Richards (nee Andrews) and the late Donald ( 1996 ). Dear grandma of Austen and Ethan Laprise. Dear sister to Patricia and the late John Bland; Frank Richards; Beverley and Larry Beaton. Dear sister-in-law to Karen Richards; Kenneth Jean and will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Kathy was a membership secretary at Beach Grove Golf and Country Club and was a union representative of CAW Local 240. Special thanks to all the staff of 4- West Met. Hospital for their loving care and to all her friends at Beach Grove. Visiting Thursday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh . The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Robert Couture officiating. A cremation will follow. A tree will be planted in memory of Kathleen Laprise in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held in the fall of 2008.
