Mr. Ernest Alexander Poole
September 8, 1927 - September 16, 2007

Poole, Ernest Alexander. Born Long Branch, Ont., Sept 8 1927, passed away peacefully at home Sept 16, 2007 of pneumonia, after a long and courageous struggle with Parkinson’s Disease and just a week after happily celebrating his 80th birthday with family and friends.
Ernie worked for many years in the lumber industry all the way from the green chain to Lumber Inspector with the PLIB and foreman in a planer mill. He also built several houses and homes on the lower Island.
He was a Member of the Royal Colwood Golf Club for 45 years where he made many lasting friendships. He and Barb were snowbirds for twenty years and made more good friends in the States.
Predeceased by his parents, Alec & Mabel Poole (nee Stewart) and his sisters Dawn and Del. Survived by his sister Ruth Cameron, brother Doug (Sheila) and their families, also the families of Dawn and Del; and Sister-In-Law Leila Momsen and her family in Australia. He leaves Barb, his beloved wife for 44 years, his “Kids”, Dana Gwillim (Australia), Ross, Murray, Alan and Graham Bayles and their families. He was a loving Husband, Dad, Ern, Grandpa, Bumpa, Pops, Brother-in-Law and Uncle and will be greatly missed.
Many thanks to Doctors Christie, Saly and Wass; also the Home Care Nurse, Sue, Deb & the Home Support Workers particularly Ulf.
No service by request. An informal gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2007 upstairs at the Station Pub, 737 Goldstream Ave, Langford, 1-4 p.m.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations maybe made in Ernest’s memory to the Parkinson Society Canada #316-4211 Yonge Street, Toronto M7Y 5V1.

Mr. Claude Joseph Gerard Aubut
February 19, 1936 - September 18, 2007

Claude Aubut - Predeceased by Anita, his wife of 35 years. Claude’s children and their families will receive friends at the McCallum & Palla Funeral Home, Cambria Rd. at East St. Goderich on Thursday 6-9 PM. A private graveside service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2007. A celebration of Claude’s life will be held at 100 Elgin Avenue East, Goderich, on Friday from 4-7 PM.

Mr. Roy Leonard Beatty
January 30, 1930 - September 18, 2007

Roy Leonard Beatty, 77 years, peacefully, on September 18, 2007. Late of Windsor. Loving father of Rhonda and husband Bill, of SC.; Roy, Jr. and Debbie, of GA.: Virginia, of TN. Dear son of the late William and Irene Beatty (nee Thibideau). Dear Grandpa of Steven, Elise; Mallory, Adam. Great -grandfather of Cloe. Dear brother to Elizabeth Beatty, of MI.: Stanley, of TN; and the late Gerald, Donald, Margaret LaFontaine, and Madeline Kiborn. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Roy had served in the Korean War with the U S. Military in the 82nd Airborne. Visiting Friday, from 2:00 p.m. at the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh until the time of the Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m. Fr. Robert Couture officiating. A cremation will follow with an interment of the cremated remains in St. Anne Cemetery. A tree will be planted in memory of Roy in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held in the fall of 2008.

Visitation for Mr. Frost will take place here at McDougall and Brown Funeral Home, 1812 Eglinton Avenue West (Dufferin and Eglinton) on Friday September 21st from 6 - 9 p.m.
The funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 22nd, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel at McDougall and Brown. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

CAMPBELL, ROGER J.N.R. - At the Belleville General Hospital on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 in his 89th year. Formerly of Lorretteville, Quebec and recently of Belleville. Beloved husband of Priscilla Campbell. Loving father of Michael Campbell (Joanne) of Moncton, NB; Shirley Bennett (Ron) of Foxboro, ON; Petra Campbell (Sylvain Simmon) of Val-Dor, PQ and predeceased by his daughter Elizabeth Campbell. Loved by his grandchildren Robert, Michael, Kelly, Keith and Patrick and great grandchildren Priscilla, Tristan, Gabriel, Braeden, Jessica, Ethan, Allie and Jada. Dear brother of Therese (Pierre), Annette, Madeline, Irene and Jacques.
Friends are invited to attend visitation at the BURKE FUNERAL HOME,, Belleville on Monday, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Liturgy of the Word will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation with interment at a later date in St. Catherine's, Quebec. Memorial donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
