Wise, Ronald - Ron, reunited with his brother Gary and sister Coleen, Ron's life had been extended because of the selfless act of a double lung donor 5 years ago. Due to recent complications and after a valiant battle, he passed away at his home with his family by his side Monday, August 20, 2007 at the age of 55 years. Ron, beloved son of Wilfred and Marie Wise of Cambridge and loving husband of Frances (nee Franklin) of Brampton. Cherished father of Kevin and Laura. Dear brother of Bryan (Patricia) of Kitchener, Greg (Anne-Louise) of Mitchell, brother-in-law of Pat (Linda) Franklin of Kitchener, John Franklin of B.C. He will be greatly missed by Tom and Bonnie, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends at the Scott Funeral Home 289 Main St. N "Brampton Chapel" on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment (to be announced). passed away peacefully, after a long illness on Saturcay, August 18th, 2007. Loving husband, our dear dad, caring partner, grandfather passed away in his 90th year. Born in Cowansville, Quebec on July 28, 1918. Predeceased by his beloved wife Bridget "Bridie" (2000) and son John "Jackie" (1981) Survived by his daughters Janet (Rick) Cornwall, Carla (Bert) Allen and his dear companion Gladys Bruce. He will be missed by his grandchildren Chris (Heather) Marc, Jonathan (Annette), Jill and Brynn. His eyes would light up at the sight of his great-grandchildren Haile, Jensen, Parker and Jackson. He proudly served the Armed Forces for 28 years, including W.W. ll campaigns in Germany, England, Holland, France and Italy. for several years he owned Mississauga U Drive, with his son Jackie, until he retired. He and mother travelled extensively and spent the last 25 years between Oakville and Naples, Florida. Friends will be received at the Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Road West. (one block east of Kerr Street), Oakville on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 from 6-8 p.m . Loving grandmother of Laura Mitchell (Greg), Danny Kay, Becky Jessica and Katie Feagan, Mary Jane, Adam and Thomas MacEwan. Predeceased by sisters Ruth Litchie, Helen East and brothers Willie, Russ, Tom and Frank Phillips. Jean was a wonderful mother, grandmother & friend and will be missed by all who loved her. Dear father of Doreen Dorsay (Hughie) , Barbara Dorsey, Lois Zarias (Dilmitrios) and Dee Dee Alston (Joe). He is survived by his grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Gordon is survived sister Violet Knox. He is predeceased his brother Amos,and Irvin and sisters Dora and Nellie. Gordon worked for General Motors for 44 years.
