BELNAVIS, Ernest Everard passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Humber River Regional Hospital (Finch Ave.). He was 92 years old. Leaving wife Fazia (Janet), children Clive, Carl (U.S.A.), and Sally (U.K.), 4 grandchildren, 8 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great- grandchildren, sister Hazel and brothers Oswald and Eric Stubbs, numerous nieces and nephews, family and many friends - to mourn his passing. A Memorial Service will be held at Highland Memory Gardens Chapel (33 Memory Gardens Lane, on Thursday, September 6th, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Humber River Regional Hospital (Finch). WALKER, Raymond Edward "Ray" passed away peacefully at Henry Ford Hospital on August 24, 2007. Predeceased by Genevieve Walker (2001). Beloved father of Noell, Kent & Carol, Greg & Susan, Grant & Cori and Dianne & Bruce. Cherished grandfather of Denise, Michelle, Jenny, Glen, Peter, Sarah and Heather. Great grandfather of Gage, Ainsley, Austin and Sienna. Dear brother of Irene Wanklin and Freda Wiume. Ray was a retiree from Canada Customs and Excise at Hiram Walker and Windsor Raceway. Ray remained active as an artist, painting portraits and landscapes. He was an athlete who worked out at the University of Windsor regularly and on the road cycling. His true passion was dancing. Departing suddenly and most unexpectedly he will be missed by many: his family, his friends and dance partners in both the Windsor and Detroit Metropolitan areas. Visitation at the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Avenue (519-253-5225) on Thursday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service Friday August 31, 2007 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Murphy, Albert George (Al) Retired C.S.C. - Al passed away peacefully, at home on the evening of Saturday, August 25, 2007. He died following a long battle with heart failure and a short skirmish with cancer. He approached his illness with humour and determination. He will be missed forever and always by his wife Erin (nee Stockman). He is also survived by his daughter, Kelly Little, and his sons, Matthew and Mason Murphy, and their children. Al will be fondly remembered by Erin's family. He had a special place in the hearts of his nephews, Dustin, Tyler and Kurtis. He will be missed by his friends, Ron and Marianne Boutillier, and Gail, Meagan and Shannon Shkwarek. Friends will be received at the Gordon F. Peacefully passed away at Hamilton General Hospital with his family by his side on August 25, 2007 in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Gladys. Loving father of John (Sherry) and proud grandfather of Michael. Survived by brother Mike (Pauline) and predeceased by sisters Marie, Dorothy and Joan. John will be sadly missed by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. John was a proud and dedicated long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 58 and Colour Party. SUMNER, Frank Leonard - Frank passed away August 21, 2007 at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto. Frank was born in England on April 19, 1921. He is survived by his sisters Audrey Irving, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Dorothy Long, Halifax, NS and brother Kenneth (Kath) Dunford, Spain and several nieces and nephews. Frank served in the RAF during the Second World War. He immigrated to Canada in 1951. He worked at dairies in Montreal and Toronto. A private family service will be held during the interment at Highland Memory Gardens, Toronto, on Wednesday, August 29th.
