Marie Pearl McINERNEY passed away peacefully at Victoria Manor, Lindsay, on Monday, September 24, 2007, in her 93rd year. Marie McInerney (nee Coyle), beloved wife of the late John “Jack” McInerney. Loving mother of Alice-Marie Kempson (Wayne), Michael (Deborah), Jacqueline Organ, Colleen Hollinger, and the late Beverley Rockall. Marie will be sadly missed by her son-in-law Norm Rockall and her grandchildren, James, Donna, Lisa, Derek, Siobhan, Kerry, Joseph, Carrie-Leigh, Michael, John, Matthew, Janie, and her nine great grandchildren. Also survived by William, Earl and Neil David Coyle and Monica Kedge. The family will receive friends at the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village (Ajax) from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Sonja Andersen passed away with family by her side on Sunday September 23, 2007 in her 72nd year. Much loved wife of Benny. Beloved mother of Tim, John (Patricia), Ingrid Andersen (Mark Westbury) and predeceased by daughter-in-law Diane. Proud grandmother to Rebecca, Kevin, Brett, Caitlin, Madison, Benjamin and Mikayla. Sonja will be sadly missed by all who knew her. The family will receive friends at the Danish Lutheran Church (72 Finch Ave., W, North York, ON (Yonge and Finch)) on Friday September 28, 2007 from 11-12 pm. Dearest father of Betty (deceased) Clement, Margaret, Michael, Jim, and Frankie. Lovingly remembered by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. GAGE, Gladys May (Gee) passed away on Thursday September 20, 2007 at Toronto East General Hospital in her 90th year.
Beloved wife of Leslie (Tubs) Gage for 67 years. Dear mother of Richard (Gloria), Stewart (Susan) and Bruce (Linda). Grandmother to Jennifer (Scott), Lesley (Jim), Cameron (Paula), Stephanie (Kam), Brodie (Karina), Shona (Mike), Haydn (Jackie), Brandon (Kelli) and Daphne. Great grandmother to Noah, Avery, Kyla, Kaitlyn and Jesse. Predeceased by her sister Peggy and brother Leonard. Gee was a lifetime member of the Balmy Beach Club ("Up the Bloody Beach") and was an avid supporter and tireless volunteer of Ontario Rugby. A special thank you to the ICU at East General Hospital.

Horrocks, Beatrice May "Bea" passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, September 25, 2007, at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital, with her family by her side. Loving wife of John Horrocks and the late William Fisher. Dear mother of William, Charlotte, Fern, John, Danny, April, amd step-mother of Wayne Horrocks and Anne Horrocks. Survived by one sister Jessie Slaunwhite. Cherished Nan or Gran of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Gordon F. Died peacefully September 26, 2007 at the Willowgrove Nursing home in Ancaster. Born Sept. 18, 1924 in Toronto, ON where he attended Mimico High School.
In 1943, Ray volunteered for service in the R.C.A.F. and was proud of becoming a Pilot Officer Navigator before the end of World War II. In 1950 Ray started working for Sifto Salt where he was employed for over 36 years until retirement. On October 19, 1956 Ray married Helen Ledohowski and they moved to their home on Pharmacy Ave, where sons Paul and David and daughter Sandra were raised.
A life-long love of boating led Ray to become involved in the Canadian Power Squadron safe boating organization where he served as a Commander for the Frenchman's Bay squadron.
Ray is pre-deceased by brothers George and Herbert and sister Alice Maud and loving wife Helen. Ray/Dad/Grandpa/Uncle Ray, will be fondly remembered by son Paul and wife Gail (Wadsworth) and grand-daughter Elizabeth of Calgary; son David and wife Doreen (Hackl) and grand-children Sarah, Justin and Rachel of London; daughter Sandra (Thompson) and husband David and grand-children Rebecca, Amanda and Matthew of Ancaster. Also by nieces and nephews from both sides of the family.
Known for his good humour, warm smile and unselfish disposition he was a true gentleman. Ray will be sadly missed by his family and anyone who ever knew him. Family and friends will celebrate Ray's life with a Memorial Celebration at the St. John's Great Hall, Friday, October 5, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. 272 Wilson St. E, Ancaster, ON.

Bonnie Turgeon passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospice. Bonnie was born on Saturday, November 25, 1947. She was predeceased by her parents Muriel and Bill Smith; father-in-law Wilfrid Turgeon and brother-in-law Glenn Turgeon. Bonnie is survived by her husband Wayde; children Jason, Kathryn (Derek) and David (Yvonne); grandchildren Dustin, Devin, Hunter, Dillon and Zoe; sister Heather; mother-in-law Anne and sister-in-law Sherry. Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Turgeon will be held on Monday, October 1, 2007 in the chapel of Jenkens Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bert Vancook officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Arlene Pearl “Samantha” Hewer, age 75, of Marion Bridge, Cape Breton County, formerly of Pembroke, Hants County, passed away on Tuesday, September 25th, 2007, at the Windsor Elms, Windsor.
Born on September 23rd, 1932, in Pembroke, Hants County, Nova Scotia, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Violet (McLellan) Wheaton.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard “Len” Hewer; son, Gordon (Tammy Harris), Surrey, B.C.; daughter, Jennifer (Stel) Gavriel, Kamloops, B.C.; grandchildren, Alisa, Jeffrey, Stephanie and George; brothers, Ronald (Betty) Wheaton, Pembroke; James (Margaret) Wheaton, Walton; Garry “Sonny” Wheaton, Cambridge; sisters, Louise Laffin, Walton; Ruby Bennet (John Roth), Greenfield; Janet Hill, Walton; Glenda MacDonald, Mosherville; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Annette “Nettie” (age 3); sister, Grace Green.
Cremation has taken place, under the care of Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor. There will be no visitation by request.
Services and burial will be held at a later date.
