Mr. Michele "Michael" Viggiani
October 1, 1927 - September 29, 2007

With great sadness our family announces the passing of Michael on Saturday, September 29, 2007 just two days before his 80th birthday. Beloved husband of 53 years to Michelina. Loving father of Vince (Patricia) and Lucia (Charles Morale). Proud Nonno of Michael, Michelle, Joseph and Amanda. Michael will be missed by his sister Maria Viggiani, his many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends will be received at the HIGHLAND FUNERAL HOME, MARKHAM CHAPEL (404 Hwy & 16th Ave), on Monday, October 1, 2007 from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church (Hwy 7 east of McCowan) on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 11am. Entombment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. If desired, donations made to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation, in memory of Michael, will be greatly appreciated by his family.

Mr. Douglas Kent Saxton
July 16, 1954 - September 29, 2007

SAXTON, Douglas Kent has passed away September 29, 2007 in his 53rd year at his home after a lengthy illness. Dearly beloved Husband of Ursula Saxton (Milosevic). Douglas is Predeceased by his parents Fred and Sarah, His sisters, Bernice, and Betty. Doug was the youngest of a family of eight children and is survived by his brothers, Buster (John) (and his wife Judy,) and his brother David. Also survived by his sisters Barbara, Brenda Keenan (Gerry), and Bonnie Doner (Boyd) and many nieces and nephews. Doug will be missed by his sister-in-law Gloria and brother-in-law Tody Milosevic and the entire Milosevic and the Cvetanovic family. Doug worked as a Glazier at Lord and Burnham on Welland Avenue for 15 years until it closed in 1990. The Philadelphia Flyers have lost a great hockey fan. Doug will sadly be missed by his many friends who enjoyed his wry sense of humour and sharp wit. Doug was a great lover of wildlife and animals and will be missed by his many cats, birds and wild critters.
The family will receive friends at Butler Funeral Home, 424 Niagara Street, South of Scott Street on Tuesday Oct. 2, 2007 from 2 to 4 p.m And 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Butler Funeral Home on Niagara Street on the morning of Oct. 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. If desired Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Humane Society or a worthy Charity of your choice. Sharing your kind thoughts and memories of Doug would be very much appreciated.

Mrs. Thelma Marlene Holt
December 9, 1935 - September 29, 2007

HOLT, Thelma Marlene passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at N.H.S. General Site at the age of 71. Loving wife of Ted Holt for 54 years. Devoted mother of Ted Jr., Susan Smith (Reg), Lisa Caporuscio (Rocco) and Geri. Cherished grandmother of six and great-grandmother of three. Survived by her siblings Audrey Ash (the late Joe), Doreen Creamer (Bill) George Fountain (Kaye) and the late Sadie McKean. Thelma will sadly be missed by her family as well as extended family. At Thelma's request cremation has taken place with a private memorial service to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to BUTLER FUNERAL HOME (33 Duke St., St. Catharines.

Mr. Ivan Homer Kelley
October 17, 1918 - September 29, 2007

KELLEY, Ivan passed away Saturday, September 29, 2007 at the C.K.H.A. Public General Campus in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Betty Goddard. Father of Barbara Watson (Jan), G. William "Bill" Kelley, Patricia Waite (Ronald), Gordon Kelley (Elspeth), Janice Johnson (William) and Paul Kelley (Judie). Also survived by Marsha Kelley, Sister in law Marilyn Kelley/Cornfoot, 11 grandchildren, 1 step grandchild, 8 great grandchildren, 1 step great grandchild and several nephews and nieces. Predeceased by brothers George Withey and Theodore W. and sister Nellie Elvira Lee, 1 step grandchild, 1 great grandchild and 2 nephews. Ivan served in the Canadian Army (Active) in the Kent Regiment (CASF), Rank Signalman # A-49932, qualified in the electrical trade (SIGS) and was employed in this trade in the R.C.C.S. Corps. He served in Canada, UK, Continental Europe and the Central Mediterranean Area (Aug 9, 1940 - Dec 1, 1945). In respect of service during this war he received the following; Canadian Volunteer Medal and Clasp, Italy Star, France Germany Star and 1939-1945 Star and Defense Medal. Retired Navistar employee (1981). Past member of the Kent Branch - Ontario Genealogical Society. Member of Branch 28 Legion. The family will receive visitors Tuesday October 2, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Bowman Funeral Home, 4 Victoria Ave. A funeral service will take place Wednesday October 3, 2007 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Thibodeau
March 3, 1940 - September 29, 2007

Patricia "Pat" Thibodeau, 67 years, passed away peacefully with family by her side on September 29, 2007 at Windsor Regional Hospital-Metropolitan Campus. Beloved wife of Tom. Loving mother of Dave and wife Luanne of Tecumseh, Paul of Windsor, Sue of Tecumseh and the late Denise (1965). Dear daughter of Julie and the late Rheo Lafreniere (1991). Cherished meme to Jason, Sarah, Bryan and Caleb. Sister to Sylvia and Wayne Brownlee, Linda and Derek Foy, Richard Lafreniere and Fernie Marentette and Raymond Lafreniere and D.J. Family and friends will be received at the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh on Tuesday from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Catholic Women's League Prayers will be held at 3:30 p.m. and parish prayers will be held at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Anne's Church, Tecumseh 12233 Tecumseh Road on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Fr. Robert Couture will be the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Anne Cemetery. In kindness memorial donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society Tecumseh Conference or to the Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Patricia Thibodeau in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held in the fall of 2008.

July 23, 1947 - September 29, 2007

Moreau, Linda passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday September 29th, 2007 in her 61st year. Loving wife of Gerald. Dear mother of Michelle (Chris) Luck, Denise (Michael) Fox-Moreau and Jeffery (Lisa). Daughter of Margaret Ross and the late Oscar Ross. Sister of Judy, Barbara, David and the late John Ross. Nana of Zachary and Xavier Luck, Nicholle, Matthew and Jordan Fox and Kyle and Troy Moreau. Linda will be sadly missed by her many relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home on Tuesday October 2nd, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday October 3rd, 2007 at 11 am at St. Patrick's Church Perkinsfield. Interment to follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Mr. John Joseph Bellefleur
September 13, 1951 - September 29, 2007

John Joseph Bellefleur, 56 years, passed away on September 29, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by his devoted wife Donna (nee Bratt) also feeling the loss deeply, but grateful for the precious years together are their five children, John Bellefleur (Stacey) of Indiana, Shane Bellefleur (Angela) of Indiana, Christina Hotchkiss (Ryan) of Amherstburg, Michael Drouillard of Windsor and Bill Drouillard (Rose) of Amherstburg. Dear friend of Matt Sexton. Sadly missing their pipi are Lacey, Zane, Nacoma, Xavier, Hunter, Tanner, Dalton and Taylor. Beloved son of Ernest and Hazel Bellefleur of Amherstburg. Dear brother of Bill and Lynn Bellefleur, Ernie and Maureen Bellefleur and Shirley and Gary Wigle all of Amherstburg. Dear brother-in-law of Bruce and Nada Bratt, Pam Bratt, Doug and Elieen Bratt all of Amherstburg and Alan and Jeanne Bratt of Windsor. Will also be missed by many nieces and nephews and so many dear friends. John worked at SKD for 27 years then moved to Veltri Stamping where he was a supervisor for 10 years. He will always be cherished and remembered for the good times, the laughter, the late night poker games and his love for cruising with Donna on his Harley! Visiting on Monday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the James H. Sutton Funeral Home, 401 Sandwich St., S., Amherstburg . Parish Prayers 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday October 2, 2007from the funeral home at 10 a.m. to St. John the Baptist Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Michael Brand officiating. Committal service at Rose Hill Cemetery and cremation to follow. Donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of John in the Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held in the Fall 2008. All are welcome.

September 28, 2007

MAVIS MACKO passed away peacefully at home on September 28th, 2007 in her 76th year, joining her beloved husband, Walter, and her son, Steve. Devoted mother of Tony and his wife Cindy. Proud grandmother of Katie and Terry. She will be fondly remembered by her sister Marie, and her husband Marcus, niece Debbie (Lauro), her nephews Marcus Jr., and David, and many great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village (Ajax) from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, October 4th 2007 . The Funeral Service will follow on Friday, October 5th, 2007 in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Duffin Meadows Cemetery. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Parkinson’s Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
