June 12, 1927 - October 6, 2007

Giacomello, Felice, Founding partner of Continental Restaurant and L'Europa Restaurant, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 6th, 2007, at the Kingston General Hospital, with his family by his side, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Elisa. Loving father of Marco and Barbara. Dear brother of Liugi Giacomello (Florence) of Quebec City, Regina (Federico) Giacomello, Ermano Giacomello, Adelina Giacomello all of Italy. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews in Italy. Friends will be received at the Central Chapel of Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Home, 49 Colborne Street (at Clergy Street) on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Church, 392 Palace Road on Thursday October 11, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment Glenhaven Memorial Gardens Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Founation, Liver or University Hospitals Kingston Foundation-KGH would be greatly appreciated.

Oliver, Norma Beatrice (nee Stephenson) passed away at the I.O.O.F. Senior Citizens Home, Barrie on Wednesday October 10, 2007 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of George Henry Oliver. Dear father of George Oliver Jr. and his wife Joan, and Sharon Sullivan and her late husband Peter. Loving grandmother of Michael Oliver, and John, James and Ryan Sekleski. Fondly remembered by her extended family.
Resting at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home, 155 Main Street, Penetanguishene on Saturday October 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Cremation to follow with interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton on Friday October 26th at 1 p.m. If desired, donations to the I.O.O.F. Senior Citizens Home would be appreciated

Margaret St. Denis (nee Carr), 81 years, passed away on October 11, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Paul (1999). Loving mother of Cindy St. Denis; Danny St. Denis. Dearest grandmother of Tina Tomicic. Dear sister of Evelyn Litchfield and the late Gwennie Gordon, Sybil Smith, and Mary MacMillan. Margaret very much enjoyed times spent with the Ladies of Lakewood Golf League. Margaret will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Visiting Sunday, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at 4:30 p.m. at The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh . Rev'd Kevin George officiating. A private family burial will take place on Monday. In kindness, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 2109 Ottawa St., Suite 280, Windsor N8Y 1R8 would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Maragret in the Marcotte Hertitage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 28, 2008. All are welcome.

Miss Sarah Ann Aitchison
July 16, 1982 - October 12, 2007

AITCHISON, Sarah Ann passed away suddenly, On October 12th, 2007. Cherished Daughter of Wayne and Betty. Devoted sister and best friend to Jesse and Mary. Beloved aunt to Michael Aitchison. Sarah will also be missed by her grandparents and extended family. The family will receive friends at the Scott Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel", 289 Main St. N. Brampton on Tuesday from 2 - 4 & 6 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday October 17th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leonard's Roman Catholic Church 187 Conestoga Dr. in Brampton. In lieu of flowers donaitons to the United Way would be appreciated.

LARSH, Elizabeth (Betty) (nee Hogan) passed away peacefully with her family by her side, October 13, 2007, at Malden Park, in her 86th year. Loving wife of 29 years to Leo Larsh. Predeceased by her first husband Nick Strong, her parents Mary and Thomas Hogan, her 3 brothers Marrin, Bill, and Tom Hogan, and her sister Margaret. Dear step-mother to Paul Larsh (Ursula), Anne Kupsov (Allan), and John Larsh (Nancy). Grand-mother to Norah, Sarah, Katie, Matthew, Paul, and James, and step grandmother to Steven. Loving aunt of Barb Morrison and great aunt to Kirk, Ken, Kerry, and Katie. Dear sister-in-law of Tom Hogan. Betty is also survived and will be sadly missed by several nephews, and great nieces and great nephews, and many good friends. Betty had a passion for her garden where she would spend many hours caring for all her plants and flowers. She was an avid golfer and loved her vacation spot in Panama City, Florida, were she spent many a vacation. She also enjoyed the Friday night euchre parties with all her friends. A number of years ago she was the owner of Betty Strong Beauty Salon. Visitation will be held at Janisse Bros - Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave., from 2 - 5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2007, with parish prayers at 7:15 p.m. Family and friends are requested to meet at Corpus Christi Church for further visitation from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. A tree will be planted in memory of Betty in the Janisse Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 28th, 2008. All are welcome.

Charlebois, Leona M. passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday October 11th, 2007, in her 86th year. Leona Brunelle of Penetanguishene formerly of Lafontaine. Beloved wife of the late Albert Charlebois. Dear mother of Paul (Denise), Leo (Shaunne), Raymond and the late Pauline. Mother-in-law of Peter. Cherished grandmother of Sharon, Vanessa, Holly, Niki, Abby and Christopher. Fondly remembered by her great grandchildren. Sister of the late Christine, Cecile, Germain, Marcel, Bernard, Louis and Alderic. A memorial service will be held at Ste. Croix Church, Lafontaine of Friday October 19th at 11 a.m. Interment St. Ann's Cemetery, Penentanguishene. If desired, memorial donations to the C.N.I.B. would be appreciated. Cherished Amma of Wagish (Sunitha) of Brampton and Gouri (Yuen-Shan Man) of Toronto. Loving Ajji of Isha, Nithya and Lily. Also survived by one brother and one sister in india and extended family. Visiting Monday from 7-9 p.m. at Morris Sutton Funeral Home (68 Giles Blvd. E. 519-254-8633). A procession will leave Morris Sutton at 10 a.m. for burial to take place at Victoria Memorial Gardens. The family would appreciate donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Jennifer Dolores Holder (née Morgan) of Ajax, ON, passed away peacefully after a brave battle with cancer on Sunday October 14, 2007 at Scarborough Centenary Hospital in her 54th year. Previous employee of Skills for Change, NN Financial, Mutual of Omaha and Transamerica Life. Jenny ‘JJ’ will be sadly missed by her devoted husband, Hallam of 28 years. She was a caring step-mother to Floyde (Karema) Burnett. Jenny was the beloved daughter of Enid and the late Coleridge Morgan, daughter-in-law of Ometa and the late Dr. Courtroy Holder of Barbados. Cherished sister of Thurlow ‘Tony’ (Margaret) Morgan of Florida, USA, Trevor (Raywattie) Morgan of London, England, Laureen Rhone, Dennis (Beverley) Morgan of Whitby, ON and Heather Grandison-Wooding of Middlesex, England. Jenny was a caring and loving sister-in-law to Lorraine (John) Turton of South Carolina, USA, Verna (Dave) Dowrich of Connecticut, USA, Judy (Tyrone) Marshall, Manitoba; Karl (Carmen) Holder, Rose (Gregory) Henry, Patrick Holder, Terrence (Phyllis) Holder, Elizabeth Holder and Michelle Holder all of Ontario. Niece of Eunice Hunte of Toronto, ON, Dorothy Talbot and Ione Scott of England, Daphne McConney and Golbourne Morgan of Barbados, and the late Litchfield Morgan, of Barbados, and Odessa Griffith of USA. Beloved aunt and great-aunt of many; treasured friend of many. A funeral service of praise and thanksgiving to commemorate the life of Jennifer Holder will be held at Word of Truth Christian Centre, 1527 Bayly Street, Pickering, ON on Saturday October 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Should family or friends so desire, donations to the Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre would be greatly appreciated.
