Palubeski, Donald M. died peacefully in his sleep, of a brain aneurysm on Sunday October 29th. He was in his 62nd year. Survived by his brother, Fr. Joe Palubeski, C.R. (of Hamilton, Bermuda), Marylin Strauss (Ron, of Waterloo) and Beverly Sieber (Joe, of Cambridge). Donald was a special uncle, AKA “U.D.” to Annette Collins (Mike), Nancy Strauss and fiancé Joey McNeil, Tom Strauss and fiancée Monica Chan, Jackie Sieber (Jeff Diefenbacher), Michelle Buie (Mark), Krista Sieber and fiance Roger Selmi. He was a great-uncle to Grace and Luke Collins. Predeceased by his parents, Dominic A. (1986) and Stella A. (1992) Palubeski. Donald (Donnie) was a loyal employee of William Knell Ltd. since 1977 and a member of St. Anne’s RC Church. He loved to be surrounded by his family and friends, whether it was during his many years at Point Clark or family get-togethers. Times at Dillon Cove and Lake Louisa were also special. Donald loved to golf and tried to avoid the ponds on the courses, especially at Merry-Hill Golf Course. Talking sports was a favorite past time and he was known to not miss the NASCAR races on TV. He was also eager to go out for a good meal, and if invited for dinner, always arrived early just to spend a little time with his hosts. A highlight for Donald was his recent trip to Bermuda in May. To be able to golf in Bermuda was a dream come true.
Donald’s family will receive relatives and friends from 3-5 and 7-9 pm on Wednesday November 1, 2006 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener. A Vigil Service will be held on Wednesday at 8:45 PM. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Thursday November 2nd at 9:30 AM, followed by the Mass of Thanksgiving for Donald’s life at St. Ann’s Church at 10:00AM. (268 East Ave. Kitchener)

Shirley Prang
Prang, Shirley passed away with her family at her side at St. Mary’s Hospital on Tuesday October 31, 2006 at the age of 72.
Beloved wife of the late Leonard (2000). Loving mother of Jim and Barbara Prang, Pam and Richard Mosser and Darrell Prang. Cherished grandmother of Corey and Christina Prang, Craig Prang, Kevin, Kyle and Kristi Mosser and great grandmother of MacKenzie and Vanessa Prang. Dear sister of Doris Litwiller and sister-in-law of Jan Prang. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Allan and Barbara Litwiller, sister, Eileen Hanley, brother, Kenneth Litwiller.
Shirley was a long time volunteer with Kitchener Minor Hockey Association.

Shirley’s memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment has taken place in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Szuck, Priscilla Lavina (nee Woolner)
passed away peacefully, with her girls at her side, on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at Heritage House, St. Jacobs just a week after celebrating her 92nd birthday.
Beloved wife of the late John Szuck (1973). Loving mother of Alice Roeder of Breslau and her late husband Kurt (1975), John Szuck and his wife Beth of Winnipeg and Maryanne Szuck of Breslau. Dear grandmother of Robert Roeder of Kitchener and Aaron and Nathan Szuck both of Winnipeg . Dear sister-in-law of Katharina Bondan of Waterloo, Barbara Ruskiteka of Germany, Doreen Woolner of Breslau and Elvina Woolner of Kitchener. Predeceased by her brothers Royden and his wife Mildred, Maurice and his wife Ella, Walter, Leonard and parents Nelson and Ida (nee Snider) Woolner.
Priscilla was a longtime member of Breslau Mennonite Church and she was the last surviving member of her family.
Priscilla’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Saturday at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener and 1:30 -2:45 PM Sunday at Breslau Mennonite Church. Funeral service 3 PM Sunday, October 29, 2006 at Breslau Mennonite Church (226 Woolwich St., Breslau) with Juanita Laverty officiating.
Interment in Breslau Mennonite Cemetery will take place during the service.

passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 29, 2006 at St. Mary’s Hospital, at the age of 83 years.
Beloved wife of Josef Wagner for 57 years. Loving mother of Rosalie and her husband Jakob Schleicher of Kitchener and Anne Wagner of Bamberg. Grandmother of Robert and his wife Barbara Schleicher, David and his wife Melody Schleicher, Frank and his wife Debra Schleicher. Great-grandmother of Krista, Erich, Christopher, Laura, Jakob and Ashley.
Barbara’s family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9pm on Wednesday at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 10:20 am followed by procession to St. Michael’s R.C. Church for funeral mass at 11 am. Interment Parkview Cemetery.

Died suddenly at his cottage, which was his favourite place to be, on Monday, July 2, 2007 at the age of 59 years.
Beloved husband of Heather (nee Wagner). Loving father of Scott and Craig and his wife Claire. Dear brother of Don and his wife Sheila and Stephen and his wife Trudy and uncle of Christine, Michael, Becky, Julie and April. Brother-in-law of Laurie Wagner and Robert Wagner. Gerry will be fondly remembered by his many friends and colleagues.
Predeceased by his parents, Donald and Earla Anderson, parents-in-law, Carl and Dorothea Wagner and his niece Penny Wagner.
Gerry was a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional. He was also a Vice President and Director of Crawford Adjusters Canada.
