At Bluewater Health - Mitton Site on Friday, January 25, 2008, HELEN ALMEDA (RAWCLIFFE) REEVES, age 91 passed away. Born in 1916 in Paris, Ontario to Alice and John Rawcliffe Helen was a longtime Sarnia resident and loving wife of the late Thomas Alexander Reeves (1998). She is survived by her son George and daughter in law Dianne Reeves of Sarnia, grandchildren Mark Reeves of Toronto, Beth and Mike McNatt of Florida, Michelle and Mike Richardson of St. Clair, MI., and Mike and Katie Reeves of Lindsay. She will be sadly missed by her “angels”- great-grandchildren Jack, Tegan, Meghan, Andie and Margaret. Special aunt to Barb Fraser and Jack Widner, many other nieces and nephews, and her extended family, the staff and management at Vision Rest Home, where Helen lived for the past few years and was loved like she was a part of their own family and for that we are truly grateful. She was predeceased by her parents, her dear son Paul, Dianne’s husband just last August and her daughter in law Connie in 2000, sisters Agnes Rawcliffe, Lillian Widner and brothers Tom, Jack and Chuck Rawcliffe. Helen was a longtime member of St. John’s Anglican Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She loved her family and life, she will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, January 30th at 11:00 am with Father Nick Wells of St. John’s Anglican Church officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call on the family at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 29th between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. Memorial gifts in memory of Helen to St. John’s Anglican Church Memorial Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. (Cheques only please).

DAVENPORT, Lois - Lois Davenport of Innisfil passed away in her 79th year on October 9, 2012. The family will celebrate the life of Lois Davenport on Sunday, October 14th at the Innisfill Hubb, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Lois Davenport is survived by her son Terry, daughter Kim of Barrie, daughter Lisa and husband Murray Martin of Whitehorse Yukon, daughter-in-law Sheila of Toronto, granddaughter Stacey and husband Colin Rooney of Toronto. Dear father of Thomas Engleson and his wife Cheryl, Marianne Lockett and her husband Richard and Pam Armstrong and her husband Rick all of Sarnia, Sherrie Dobbs of Bracketville, Texas, Linda Glover of Clarkston, Michigan and Wallace Dobbs and his wife Linda of Port Huron, Michigan. Loving grandfather of Sherrilynn, Robert, Jessica, Tracey, Kyle, John, Brian, Randy, Leighann, Chris, Kelly, Tracy and Craig. Great-grandfather of Caleb, Vaughn, Nigel, Christian, Matthew, Kennedy, Avery and Ashton. Dear brother of Ruth Daamen and her husband Harry of Sarnia and Jean Paulson ofWinnipeg. Pre-deceased by two brothers Jim and Clarence and a sister Margaret, Mr. Engleson had resided in Sarnia for the past 56 years. Mr. Engleson was a veteran of World War II where he served in the European Theatre. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Br. # 62, Sarnia, and the Georgiana Squares and Swinging 8's Square Dance Clubs. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, October 16 th. at 11:00 a.m. with Father Tom Lever officiating. Cremation to follow. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Born in Sarnia, Eilene was a longtime member of the Moose Lodge. Private family cremation services will be held through the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME. Peacefully at his residence on Friday January 25th, 2008, WILLIAM T. HUTCHINSON, age 83 of Sarnia. Loving husband of Betty (Dobbyn) Hutchinson. Sadly missed by his children Carol and her husband Del Smith, Patricia and her husband Jim Lewis, step children Dianne Pratt, Linda and her husband John McColl, Brian and his wife Cheryl Dobbyn. Cherished to 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. William will be missed my many nieces and nephews. Loving Brother of Gordon and Isabelle Hutchinson. Predeceased by his first wife Arleen Hutchinson, parents Ruby and Albert Hutchinson and brother Jim Hutchinson. Retired from Imperial Oil after 35 years of service, William had resided in Sarnia his whole life. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held in the chapel of the D.J. HUNT – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished, beloved mother, Joan Elizabeth Hunt (nee Adams), peacefully with her family by her side, in her 70th year on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock. She will always be lovingly remembered by her children, Denise Thompson (David) of Innerkip, Shaun Hunt (Cathy) of Belleville, and Teresa Hughes (Mike) of Woodstock. Predeceased by her husband Stuart (2007) and her son Nicholas (2000). Adored grandmother of Kristen and Scott Thompson, Melissa and Jessica Hunt, Taylor and Danielle Hughes, and Matthew Hunt. Sister of Don (Audrey) of Guernsey and sister-in-law of Margaret of England. Also predeceased by her brother David in England. Also remembered by Stuart’s family and her many nieces and nephews, neighbours and friends. Joan will always be remembered for her graceful demeanour and her infectious laughter – words were not necessary for Joan to put a smile on your face. A private family service will be held.
