It is with sadness in our hearts and joy to have had him in our lives, that we say a loving goodbye to our wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Pauk and the staff at Mulcaster Mews and Victoria Village Manor for their love and compassion while he was in your care. Stan served with the R.C.A.F from 1940-1945 on returning to Barrie he joined the Barrie Public Utilities, where he worked for 37 years. He was an active member in the Grey & Simcoe Foresters, & Royal Canadian Legion. He spent countless hours volunteering with Barrie Minor Hockey and Boys Baseball. In keeping with Stans' wishes cremation has already taken place. There will be no funeral, a private family service will be held at a later date. Stan lived a long and happy life, always a smile for everyone. Many a time he found us a rainbow, when all we could see were clouds. God has him in his keeping, we have him, in our hearts. God Bless. At Bluewater Health - Norman St. on Monday, January 28, 2008, WALTER FREDERICK WILHELM, age 85, of Sarnia, loving companion of the late Irene Clark. Dear father of Donna Johnston of Sarnia, Nancy White of Florida, John Wilhelm and his wife Franca of Oakville and Lori Williams and her husband Greg of Sarnia and 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Brother of August (Augie) Wilhelm and his wife Ruth of Arizona and Margaret Stockie of New Hamburg and brother-in-law of Fran Wilhelm. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by a brother Bobby and sisters Helen and Loney. The Owner/Operator of Wilhelm Automotive Supply for many years, Walter loved spending his winters in the hot sun of Mexico for over 30 years. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Walter's life will he held from the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, January 31st at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 12 noon until service time. William (Bill) Daniel Gunn, 72, of Bala, ON, passed away peacefully in his sleep, Saturday, October the 6th, 2012, at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital. He was born in Toronto, ON, March 16th, 1940. He was married to Lynda and was survived by His children Tracey and her husband Scott, David, and Mike and his partner Sherry. He will be missed by his Grandchildren, Andrew, Brendan, Savanah, and Makayla, A celebration of life for Bill will be held at a later date.

GUN-MUNRO, Clarence George Wilson (1912-2009) - At the Woodhaven Long Term Care Residence, Markham on Monday, January 19, 2009, with grace and dignity after 96 years of living, loving and laughing! Clarence was blessed with good health, a great family and a kind heart. Although born in Brantford, he grew up on the Island of Grenada in the West Indies where he obtained a degree in Tropical Agriculture. An avid tennis player, he was the Island Men’s Singles Champion for 1943/44. In 1947 he returned to Canada with his family and settled in Woodstock. He worked as a machinist at Firestone Textiles for over 25 years. Clarence and his wife Sheila, both enjoyed successful tennis careers before joining the golf community with the Oxford Golf and Country Club / Craigowan. Clarence lost his beloved Sheila in 1985. He lived with family in Hamilton and King City before emigrating at age 87 to England, with his partner Irene. He returned to Canada at age 93 and had been well and active until recently. Missing him are his children, Raymond of Hamilton, Beverly of California and Ann Gun-Munro and son-in-law John Glaysher of Woodstock. Loved and missed by daughter-in-law Jane Gun-Munro, grandchildren Lyndsay, Matthew and Amanda and great granddaughter Autumn. Special brother to Margaret Williams and uncle to Liz Tapley, Rosalyn Saunders and the late Karen Monahan. Our Dad was the ultimate "Gentle" man. We will miss his smile. The family extends their thanks to the staff of the Woodhaven LTC Residence, especially the 4th floor Unionville staff, for their care and kindness.
