At her residence on Saturday November 10th, 2007, DORA CAROLINA MAE (HUGGETT) LAIRD age 70 of Sarnia, beloved wife of the late Thomas Laird (1988). Dear mother of Emily MacLeod and husband Jack, Joe Laird and wife Brenda, Tom Laird and wife Debbie, Rob Laird and Catherine Pyette and George Laird and wife Sandy. Sister of Keith Huggett and wife Brenda, Dan Huggett and Gladys DenBoer. She will be missed by her many grandchildren. Mrs Laird was a member of New Horizons Church and the Moose Lodge. Funeral service will be held from the chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, November 13th, 2007 at 11:00 am. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. At Afton Park Place on Tuesday, December 11, 2007, ISOBEL VICTORIA (DAVISON) SEABROOK, age 88, of Sarnia, beloved wife of the late Lorne Seabrook (1997). Dear mother of Mary Louise Eheler and her husband Lloyd of Sarnia, Richard (Dick) Seabrook (Florence) of Thamesville, Peter Seabrook (Jennifer) and Bradley Seabrook (Bridget) all of Sarnia. She will be missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sister of Jack Davison and his wife Colleen of Florida, Mildred Jackson and her husband Bob of Trenton, Katherine Foslett and Mary Lasenby and her husband Norm all of Sarnia. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her son Ted (1998), brothers William and Thomas Davison and sister Ann Lawrence. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Friday, December 14th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Peacefully at Sumac Lodge on Sunday February 3rd, 2008 DONNA FORBES nee Bazeley, in her 65th year. Predeceased by her husband Ian Suming, children Deb Forbes (Paul Hewitt), Tom (Tracey), Jackie Croskey (Dan), 2 Grandchildren, brother Doug Baseley (Sharon Raaymeker) predeceased by her parents Harold and Saretta Bazeley, brother David and sister Dianne (Perceval). Also survived by nieces and nephew. A Celebration of Donna’s life will be held in the chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, February 7th, 2008 at 11:00 am. Winkle, Harry George
Winkle, Harry George passed away on October 1, 2012 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, On. Survived by his loving wife Barbara and daughters Diane and Carolyn. Always remembered by his nephew David (Shelly) and niece Lisa Kelly (Terry). Missed by great nephews and nieces, Jason, Paige Laura, Grant (Sarah), Bridget and great great niece Scarlet. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Mae Winkle and brothers Fred (Jane) and Jack (Joan). Harry was a proud member of the ANAF 365 and will be missed by all those who knew him. February 16, 1928 to January 20, 2008
FABBRI, MARIO ONTARIO - The family of MARIO ONTARIO FABBRI is saddened to announce his passing on January 20, 2008. His is survived by his wife Kathy and his children Judy (Tony) of Toronto, Michael (Dyann) of Calgary, David (Deborah) of Sarnia, and Peter (Cathy) of Sarnia. Also survived by his brother Albert and sister-in-law June of Kingston, and sister Enis of Kingston. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Tara (Tracy), Lisa (Jeremy) and Nikki of Calgary, Vanessa, Laura, Rachael, and Sarah of Sarnia, and great-grandchildren Troy, Sydney, Torin, Dominick and Adam of Calgary. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He is predeceased by father Gulio and mother Caterina, brothers Joe, Charlie, Bino, and Joey and sister Alda. Mario was born in Kingston and lived in Belleville where he was the past President of the Belleville Builder's Exchange. Mario came to Sarnia in 1966 and pioneered Fabbri Tile & Carpet in 1974. Mario was also the President of the Sarnia Construction Association in 1983 as well as being a member of the Canadian Tile & Marble Guild. Mario had a passion for golf and his family meant the world to him. Mario had a magical way of making people laugh with many jokes. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and all of those who knew him. May God welcome you into His Kingdom Papa! Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 24th from 7-9 pm at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME with prayers offered at 8:30 pm at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 25th, 2008 at 11:30 am at SACRED HEART CHURCH. At Bluewater Health - Norman Site on Monday, May 18, 2009, CALVIN STANLEY DAGG, of Sarnia, beloved husband of Dorothy Irene (Evans) Dagg. Dear father of Brian Dagg of London, Laraine (Laurie) Hurlock and her husband Paul and Murray Dagg all of Sarnia. Loving grandfather of Tim Dagg and his wife Danielle, Terri Dagg-Barr and her husband David and Allison McLeish all of Sarnia and Julie Thompson and her husband Tony of Bradley, Illinois. Great-grandfather of Christopher, Emilee, Tyler and Alexander. Dear brother of Ronald Dagg and his wife Dolores of Bayfield. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A lifelong Sarnia area resident, Mr. Dagg was pre-deceased by his parents Alfred Stanley and Mary (White) Dagg and a brother Fred. He was a member of St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church and was retired as a customs officer with Canada Customs with 37 years of service. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Dagg served with both the R. C. A. F. and the R. A. F. and was a member of the R. A. F Wickenby Register. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church, 718 Cathcart Blvd. on Saturday, May 23rd. at 11:00 a.m. with the Venerable Dr. Gordon J. J. Simmons officiating. Cherished mother of Rich (Karen) Lalonde, Dave Lalonde (Lynn), Laurie (Kevin) Hoffman, Willy (Ray) Elliott. Precious Grandma of Stacey (Dave) Maola, Ryan Lalonde (Lindsay), Katie Hoffman, Josh Hoffman, Zac Hoffman, T.J. Leung, Sara Leung, Paige Elliott, Joel Elliott, Courtney McCaw, Jason (Amanda) Hoof, Shawna (Scott) Elliott, Kristin Luckins. Great grandmother of Justyce Hoof and Ethan Elliott. Predeceased by daughter Joanne Hoof (2004), sisters Wilma Randall, Sheila Duncan, brother in law Eugene Lalonde, Bill Severin and sister in law Marie Spring. Dear sister-in-law of Dave Duncan, John Randall, Dot Severin, Jack & Shirley Lalonde, Chuck & Marge Merritt, Jeanette Gardener and Maurice Spring. Many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place, at Mary’s request no visitation or service, a private family interment at Lakeview Cemetery will be held at a later date. Mary worked at Williams Pastry Shop for over 25 years and was an active and long standing member of the Wyoming Legion Woman’s Auxiliary.
