Tom Brodeur passed away peacefully October 15, 2013 at Woods Park. Loving and devoted Husband of Sandra. Remembered by his children Janet (Terry), Steve and Pat (Mary). Proud grandpa of Reid, Krista, Justin, Cole and Sarah. Survived by his brothers Jim and Dough (Joan), sister in law Lori, brother in law Robert (Lorraine) and father in law Tim Nesbitt. Will be missed by his nieces, nephews and many friends.
Tom’s participation and keen interest in sports throughout his life led him to become a founding member of the Midland Sports Hall of Fame. He used his love of history and geography to travel near and far every chance he got. He spent valuable time visiting his many friends and acquaintances to give them old photos and to share memories of the past. His avid collecting of antique phones, nautical and sports items kept him busy and connected. Tom’s enjoyment of music and his sense of humour were with him right to the end.
Respecting Tom’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Special thanks to the caring staff at Woods Park and to Dr. McConvey for being so wonderful. Peacefully, surrounded by family our beloved Wife, Mom, Grandma, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Friend, Carol Christine Scott Bell (nee Brandon) left us for her journey Home.
She will be greatly missed by her husband David R. Bell, son David Scott (Cathy), grandsons Christopher and Tyler; daughter Heather LeBlanc (Barry) granddaughter Darien and grandson Matthew. Also, siblings Lorrie McParland (Greg); Judy Miller (Jerome); June Molnar deceased (Frank); Sue Brandon (Brad); Eric Brandon (Judy); Jessie Brandon (Darren); and Melodie Lortie (Mitch).
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 19th, 2013 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 93 Berczy St, corner of Codrington, from 1 pm to 4pm with a sharing of Love and Laughter at 2:30pm as Carol wanted. Please join us to celebrate a wonderful, generous spirit.

Dear mother of Donald Allan & wife Eleanor, Gary Allan & Brenda Evans all of Sarnia. Sister of Ross Sutton of Kingston , 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren , nieces and nephews also survived. Predeceased by daughter Betty Pauley, Sister Dorothy Herrington and brothers Arthur and Clarence, son in law Victor and sister in laws Thelma and Alice. Funeral service will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME, 102 N. Victoria Street, Sarnia, on Wednesday June 27, 2007 at 1:00 pm. Interment at Bear Creek Cemetery. passed away in the quiet of his home in Gravenhurst, Ontario on September 12, 2013 surrounded by his family. Ron was a loving husband to Libby, dear father of Michael (Afton) Mackenzie, Bryan (Stephanie) Mackenzie and Brandon Mackenzie. Beloved stepfather to Taryn (Jason) Logue and a much loved grandfather to Dakota Edwards and Michael Edwards.
Ron was a beloved brother of the late Wayne Mackenzie, Bill (Audrie) Mackenzie, John (Janice) Mackenzie and Barbara Mackenzie and the uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Robert and Violet Mackenzie.
A gathering to celebrate Ron's life will be held on Sunday September 22, 2013 at the Taboo Resort, 1209 Muskoka Beach Rd, Gravenhurst, Ontario in the Trillium Room from 12pm-3pm.

Surrounded by love, Pierrette Igel nee Jolette (Perry) peacefully passed away as she lived her life, with grace and dignity. Pierrette was pre-deceased by her parents and brother Gilles. She leaves behind to honor her life, her beloved husband Jack, daughter Michelle (Michael) Clark, son Randy (Cheryl and family) grand-daughters Kayla and Mackenzie, sisters Carole (Harry), Celyne (Phil), Lise (Claude), brothers Norm (Marg), Serge (Line) and many, wonderful nieces and nephews whom she adored. Also left with wonderful memories her sister of the heart Cheryl Hill, and adopted family Dale, Laurie, Madison, Brody and Nathan Carr. A drop-in celebration of life will be held at the Alcona Lion’s Hall located on 982 Innisfil Beach Road on Saturday, September 28th from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pierrette’s name to the Hospice Simcoe would be appreciated by the family to honor not only Pierrette’s life, but to honor and respect the wonderful care and amazing people who supported her through the final days of her journey.
