ELO, Randy George - Randy, much loved son of Helen and the late George; brother of Judy Hendy (Tom) and Chris (Kevin); close companion of Tracey Johnson, died as a result of a heart attack at 58. ANDREWS, Patricia Eloise (Willis) - born in Barrie December 2 1948, passed away courageously at Royal Victoria Hospital August 29, 2013. Loving Mother, Daughter, Sister, Grandmother, Aunt and loyal friend to many in the community. She will be greatly missed.

Vasey, Willem Christopher
It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our son Will on Sunday August 25, 2013 at the age of 20 years. Will was the cherished son of Peter Vasey, step mom Gina Vasey and Julie Cain, step dad Steve Cramp. Brother to Olivia Vasey and cherished grandson of Marion & Jack Cain and Rose Mary and Clare Vasey. Treasured by aunts and uncles Heather Cain (Jeff), Bob Cain (Pam), Mike Vasey (Suzanne), John Vasey (Kerry), Sheri Filsoofi and Brenda Robertson. He will be greatly missed by cousins, Sara, Arya, Ashley, Jenna, Ben and Jeff.
A memorial service for Williem will be held at South Shore Community Centre, Barrie on September 9, 2013 commencing at 11 am. This will be immediately followed by his interment at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery for members of his immediate family.
Durkee, Terry Glenn
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Terry Glenn Durkee in his 58th year, who died suddenly at Toronto General Hospital August 22, 2013. Terry will be missed by his best friend and loving companion Verginia (Fairbank) Godin. Also by brother Larry (Marcia), sister Donna Fabbro, Niece Brianne (Mark) Brindley, Nephew Ian (Julie) Durkee, Nephew Jesse Fabbro, and great uncle too Dylan Durkee. Terry was the best "Grampy" to Emily and William Besley and caring friend to Sasha (Robb) Besley and Lee Ann (Mark) Godin-Buckley. He was also a loving and best friend to his Uncle Guy Brookes. Terry was predeceased by his mom and dad George and Shirley Durkee. He will be sadly missed by his Uncle Barry (Marilyn) Brookes, Glenn (Laura) Brookes, Guy (Yvonne) Brookes, William (Barb) Durkee. Terry will also be missed by many cousins and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at Royal Canadian Legion (Ferris Lane) Thursday August 29th from 3-6. Husband of the late Doris (1998) and beloved friend of Bernice Robinson. Dear father of Bill (Theresa) of Sudbury, Donna Sims (Barry) of Thornhill, John (Diane) of Toronto, Stephen of Woodstock, and Judy Robinson of Woodstock. Loving grandfather of Keena, Jeff, Jennifer, Kaitlynn, Marni, Robert, Lisa, Joel, Michael, Shauna and Erinne, and great grandfather of Ian, Keanan and Coen. Dear brother of Ellen Simington (the late Wray) and the late Ted Butcher and Marnie Butcher. Friends will be received at the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Thursday, January 29, 2009 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Farrow, Sherryn Ann
January 3rd, 1962 – August 17th, 2013
It is with great sadness we share the news of Sherryn’s passing peacefully and surrounded by her loved ones over the last four weeks at Hospice Barrie. We thank the amazing staff who helped make this difficult time so extra special for our family.
Survived by her loving devoted mother Beth Gibbons and predeceased by her father Calvin Gibbons, Sherryn was the proudest mother to sons Bradley and Michael and wife Shannon, who blessed her with two incredible granddaughters, Stella and Emerson. She had fun growing up in Barrie with her big family, sisters Janet, Cathy (Rick), brothers Tom (Gayla), Marshall (Chris), Terry, Aunt and Great auntie to many nieces and nephews, she was so caring and supportive to us all.
Sherryn enjoyed her career of over 25 years of service at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie. She knew everyone and made such a difference with her spunk for life and caring nature to all around her.
Courageously Sherryn fought her battle of cancer on and off for the past 6 years with fierce determination, never giving up hope. We are so proud of her incredible tenacity and strength, teaching us all to live life to the fullest. She will be remembered for many special moments shared with family and friends, forever in our loving memories, we will miss her dearly. All our love.
A celebration of Sherryn’s life will be held on Saturday August 31st at ANAF, 7 George St. Barrie. Visitation at 11am, Service will begin at 12pm with refreshments to follow.
