Terri Lynne of St. Thomas, Ont.

DEAN, Terri Lynne (nee Walker) of St. Thomas passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, on July 16, 2015 at the age of 60. Beloved wife of Paul Dean. Loving daughter of Barb (the late Robert) Walker of St. Thomas. Terri will be sadly missed by children Steven (Amy) Dean of St. Thomas, Rick Dean of Fort McMurray, Alberta and his fiancé Brittany Easterbrook of St. Thomas; grandchildren Matthew Dean and Emma Dean of St. Thomas; siblings Robert Walker and Tom (Lynn) Walker all of British Columbia, and John (Teresa) Walker of Oshawa; mother and father-in-law Bill and Pat Dean of St. Thomas, and by her brothers-in-law Ross (Sharon) Dean of St. Thomas and John (Joan) Dean of Kingsville. Terri had been the secretary of Faith Christian Academy for 28 years. She was very creative, loved to sew, and thoroughly enjoyed nature. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Faith Church 345 Fairview Ave, St. Thomas on Sunday at 2:00pm. If desired, donations to Faith Christian Academy would be appreciated.

GARRY, James “Jim”

Unexpectedly, after a courageous battle of Cancer, at University Hospital, London, on July 4, 2015. Jim Garry in his 63rd year. Beloved Husband of Carol (nee Lande) Garry for 39 years. Loving father of Jen (Glen) Berry & Lauren Garry of London. Much loved brother of Erin Garry-Smith of Vancouver, BC., Mary Meyers and Steve Garry both of London. Also missed by his mother-in-law Mabel Lande. Jim will be lovely remembered and missed by his family and extended family. A heartfelt thank you to staff at the hospital; friends and family who supported us during this time. In keeping with Jim’s wishes his body will be donated to science. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made out to the London Regional Cancer Program, 747 Baseline Road East, London ON N6C 2R6. MATHERS, Dennis Barry of Grand Bend, age 72

MATHERS, Peacefully, at Exeter Villa Nursing Home, with his family by his side, on Thursday, July 2, 2015, Dennis Barry Mathers of Grand Bend, age 72. Beloved husband of Carole (Armbruster) Mathers and the late Brenda (Houston) Mathers (1997). Loved father and father-in-law of Steve and Stephanie Mathers and Jeff and Sheri Mathers, all of Grand Bend. Cherished grandpa and devoted hockey fan of Kyle, Bradley, Tayler, Kaitlyn and Erin Mathers. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Jerry and Phyllis Mathers, Bob and Linda Houston, Glenna Houston, Murray and Maxine Houston, Janice and Gord Carnochan. Remembered and will be missed by Carole’s family, his aunt Elsie Mathers of B.C. and many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred (2000) and Edith (1982) (Lovie) Mathers. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood with visitation on Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m., where the Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Fr. Grayhame Bowcott Officiating. Interment Grand Bend Cemetery. Dennis was a long time resident of Grand Bend, following in his father’s footsteps he owned and operated The Cheryl Ann and later Denny’s Drive In. LEBEL-ANGERBAUER, Christine of North Vancouver, BC Formerly of Sudbury, ON

In loving memory of Christine Lebel-Angerbauer, who passed away at her home on June 30, 2015, in North Vancouver, BC, at the age of 45. She will be sadly missed by her sister, Jessica Angerbauer, and her four children: Joseph Read, Sharayah Read, Dorian Angerbauer, and Jakob Lebel. She was a best friend to many people, all of whom she loved deeply. Christine enjoyed painting and drawing, as well as dancing to whatever song came on the radio. She was a dedicated Whovian, and loved sitting by the ocean. She was adventurous in nature, and brought passion to everything she did. She never took no for an answer, and was an inspiration to everyone she knew. Her passion and beauty have now joined Heavens ranks, where she will be able to see her mother and beloved grandparents again. If you wish to honor her memory, please make donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

HARMON, Patrick S. of St. Thomas, Ont (formerly England)

HARMON, Patrick Shaune Harmon passed away, while surrounded by his family at University Hospital, as a result of a motor vehicle accident on November 16, 2013, at the age of 46. Patrick leaves behind his best friend and loving wife Margaret Harmon (nee Dyck) and his two wonderful boys Baily and Adam. He is also survived by his parents Frank and Alberta Harmon of England; his siblings Maria (Mark) Cassidy and their son Christopher and his daughter Chloe of England, Paul (Marie) Harmon and their children Katie and Ross of Ireland, Susan (Darren) Smart and their children Matthew, Jack, Neive and Lauren of England; his mother-in-law Margaret (late John) Dyck of Aylmer; brother and sisters-in-law Anne (Ralph) Brix and their children Joshua, Darren, Michael and Brianne of Aylmer, Peter Keyes of Vancouver, John (Karen) Dyck and their children Amelia and Caleb of Ohio, Sue (Bob) Jaster and their children Bobby, Mandy, Kristin and Matthew of Michigan; and by many other uncles, aunts, and cousins. Patrick and Margaret met and fell in love while working on cruise ships together. Patrick was an avid reader, writer and poet. He loved the ocean, scuba diving and people. Patrick worked at Starwood Hotels and previously at Van Pelt’s. Visitation will be held at Faith Church 345 Fairview Avenue, St. Thomas on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow. Beaton, Mr. Brian Ross of Thessalon, Ontario

At the Thessalon Hospital on Sunday November 17, 2013. Brian Beaton in his 62nd year, beloved husband of Cheryl Beaton for forty years. Loving father of John Beaton (Sherise Rains), Erin Mortimore (Mark) and Amber Barber (Trevor) all of Thessalon. Special Papa to Raven McLean, J.T. Beaton, Mariah, Taylor and Courtney Mortimore and Caden, Gage and Maya Beaton. Dear son of the late Lloyd and Ethel Beaton. Dear brother of Wanda Jones of Winnnipeg, Lorrie Ann Beaton of Ottawa and the late Ian and Richard Simons and the late Donna Beaton. Dear son-in-law of Edith Larue and the late John Larue. Dear brother-in-law of John Larue (Ruth Ann) and Pam Coutu (Norm). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon on Wednesday November 20, 2013 from 7 to 9pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday November 21, 2013 at 11 o’clock followed by cremation. Interment in Maple Ridge Cemetery at a later date. SMITH, Donald Lee of St. Thomas, Ont.

SMITH, Donald “Lee” passed away November 13, 2013 at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital in his 86th year. Lee was the beloved husband of Shirley (nee Parker) for 66 years. He was a much-adored and gentle father to Ken (Velma) of St. Thomas, Jeannette of Vancouver, Terry (Julia) of Chatham, John (Joan) of Toronto, Jeff (Melanie) of Calton, and Donnalea (Don) Shearer of South Carolina. He was also the proud and much-loved grandfather of Greg (Janice), Scott (Crystal) and Brent (Sheri), all of St. Thomas; Ben (fiancée Daisy) of Toronto, Josh (friend Andreea) of London, David (Katy) of Chatham, and Joel (friend Ashley) of London; Matthew (Liisa) of Toronto and Laura (fiancée Trevor) of Waterloo; Ashlee (Craig Hooghiem) of Aylmer, and Kristin of Calton; Michelle Middleton of South Carolina. He dearly loved his great-grandchildren Jayce, Janessa, Alyssa, Andres, Haylee and Lauren. Lee was predeceased by his parents, Helen and Herman Smith of Sparta, and sister Shirley (late Alfred Robertson). He remains the cherished brother of Marion (Craig Otto) of Guelph, Robert (late Marilyn) of Cambridge, Barbara (Robert Cox) of St. Thomas, and Arthur (Vonna) of Waterloo. Lee was also the kind uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He retired after many years at United Technologies. He was a longtime active member of the United Church of Canada and sat on a multitude of committees and boards locally, provincially and nationally. He was past Grand Master of Masonic Lodge 302 and three-time President of the Rotary Club of St. Thomas, having achieved four Paul Harris Fellow awards. His other contributions to the Rotary Club will be fondly remembered for a very long time. Countless other lifelong contributions to family, church and community are just too numerous to mention here. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family wishes to thank all the wonderful hospital staff who cared for Lee, as well as Dr. Jones, his family physician. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Sunday, November 17, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11:00am. Private Interment in Elmdale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Lee, donations may be made to the Mission and Service Fund of the United Church of Canada, the Rotary Club of St. Thomas, or a charity of your choice.

Ralph, Dale Eldon of Blind River, Ontario
August 14, 1933 – November 11, 2013

With great sorrow the family wishes to announce the passing of Dale Ralph peacefully at home on November 11, 2013 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of fifty-seven years to wife Jacqueline. Loving father of William, Kathleen, Tammy (Randy) and Robin. Proud Grandpa of his two precious grandchildren, Joshua and Paige Sloat. Beloved son of the late William and late Mildred Ralph. Beloved son-in-law of the late John and late Kathleen MacDonald. Dear brother of Ruth Jacques (Leo), the late John (late Alice), late Earl (late Elsie), late Aubrey (late Betty), late Kenneth (late Edna), late James, late Dean and late Gerald (Diane). Dear brother-in-law of William MacDonald (Sally), Janet Poisson (Jean Paul), the late Jim MacDonald (late Florida), late Richard MacDonald and late Neil MacDonald (Arleen). Loving uncle to his two special girls, Alexis and Payton Lawrence. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dale retired after thirty-five years working as a mechanic at Rio Algom Mines in Elliot Lake. He loved hunting and fishing and was an avid golfer. A special thank you to Dr Bradford, Dr Fowler, EMS and the staff at the Blind River District Health Centre for their compassionate care. Cremation will take place with a memorial and interment in Goldenburg Cemetery in the spring. Donations to the Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. Suddenly, at his home in Thessalon on Friday November 8, 2013. Irving Falls in his, 76th year, dear friend of Glenna Leindecker of Thessalon. Dear son of the late Arden and Vera Falls. Dear brother of Wayne Falls (Rose) of Sault Ste Marie, Lois Valley (late Francis) of Thunder Bay. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Irving will also be sadly missed by Pepper. At Irving’s request there will be no services at this time. A celebration of Irving’s life will take place at a date to be announced in the spring. passed away suddenly at home in Blind River with her parents and her daughters by her side on Thursday November 7, 2013. Sheila King MacLeod in her 51st year, Loving mother of Crystal MacLeod and Trisha Lees (Chris) both of Blind River. Dear sister of Allan King of Blind River and Angela King-Quenneville (Dan) of Azilda and the late Karen King. Dear Aunt to Adam King, Jennifer Lidstone (Edward), Kassandra and Alicia Poirier. Stepmother of Kenny MacLeod. Sheila will be missed by a large family. Sheila loved gardening, especially flowers and painting.
