Survived by his father Simon of Wardsville and mother Linda of Grand Bend, and brother Jamie of BC. Well loved by his many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be held at Van Heck Funeral Home 172 Symes St., Glencoe on Friday evening at 8:00p.m. with visitation one hour prior. MITTON (Coggins), Ursula Helen Mary. A resident of Chatham, Ursula passed away peacefully with her two loving daughters by her side on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late H. Glenn Mitton (2008). Loving mother of Lesley Berry and her husband John, of Nanaimo, B.C. and Deborah Hooker and her husband Randy, of Chatham. Cherished grandmother of Matthew & Chelsey Hooker and Shelby Hooker & Kyle Forbes. Also survived by her son David Mitton. Dear sister of Bruce Coggins and his wife Pauline, of Bristol, England. Dear sister-in-law of Lloyd & Eileen Mitton and Lorne & Marjorie Mitton. Ursula is survived by several nieces and nephews. Ursula will be missed by her close friends John & Marjory Burgess, and all of her Sisters in the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. The family wishes to thank all of the caring nurses on the 4th floor, Medicine B, and Dr. Karatela for the wonderful care. Ursula came to Canada as a war bride and lived her life independently until the end. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place with no service to follow. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Sunday, November 24, 2013, WILLIAM ALFRED DEMPSEY, age 86 of Sarnia passed away.Beloved husband of Marie Paule Angeline Dempsey (nee Boulanger) . Loving father of Bonnie Duquette and her husband Maurice of Wallaceburg and Cathy Mathany and her husband Michael of Chatham and stepfather of Donald Cote and Darquise Cote. Also survived by his sister Mabel Whitbread of Windsor and nieces Heather and Kerrie. Cherished grandfather of Randy Duquette, Ann Marie Vancoille, Clarke Mathany, Ashley Rivard, Ian Mathany, Bryan Thrower, Dennis Purdon several great -grandchildren. Will also be missed by his extended family in Quebec. William retired from Polysar, enjoyed bowling and his sense of humour will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. passed away peacefully at her son John’s Midland home on November 24, 2013. Marie was predeceased by her sisters Agnes, Anelda, and Esperance. She is survived by sisters Rachael and Gloria of Blind River. Also survived by five sons John (wife Karen), Norman (wife Christine), Marlon (wife Cheryl), Brian (wife Helen) and Harold and four daughters Lynda (late husband Derek), Sandra (husband Gerry), Brenda and Maxine. Marie is also survived by 19 devoted and loving grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. BISHOP – Dorothy Ellen (nee Oliver) of St. Thomas, Ont. passed away peacefully at Caressant Care – Mary Bucke on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Jim Bishop. Dorothy is survived by children Fred (Ann) Bishop of St. Thomas, Keith (Linda) Bishop of Cambridge, Rick Bishop (Colleen) of Glencoe, Ron (Tammy) Bishop of Durham, and Roy (Cathy) Bishop of British Columbia. Dorothy will be missed by her ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters and two brothers-in-law in England, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Tony Bishop, and her daughter Elizabeth Bishop. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). In keeping with Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Highland Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in London, at a later date. CHAPMAN, Mrs. Kathleen Mary (nee Sadler), of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, July 28, 2014, in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Gilbert Chapman (1997). Dearly loved mother of the late Gilbert James Chapman (2009) (Lily), Valerie Chapman, and Rosemary (Frank) Buczkowski. Cherished grandmother of Carol and Diana Chapman, Edward (Lauren) and Nikolas (Erin) Longstaff, Katie (Tim) and Michael (Ashley) Buczkowski. Great-grandmother of James, Rowan, Malcolm, River, and Nora. Sister of Norah Walker and James Sadler. Siblings, Albert, Frederick, Nellie, Jack and Dorothy predeceased her. Born in Hove, Sussex, England on April 30, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Daisy (nee Povey) Sadler. Kathleen, accompanied by her son, James, came to Canada in January of 1946 as a war bride and settled with her husband, Gilbert, in St. Thomas. She was a long-time member of St. Hilda’s-St. Luke’s Anglican Church, a member of the Sorores, the Anglican Church Women and the Altar Guild. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Wednesday, July 30th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate Kathleen’s life will be held at St. Hilda’s-St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 185 Elm St., St. Thomas on Thursday, July 31st at 11:00 a.m. Flowers respectfully declined.
