RINGEL, Mary Jane of Kitchener (Formerly of the Chesley area)
Mary Jane Ringel of Kitchener, formerly of the Chesley area, passed away suddenly at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener on Friday, January 16, 2015 in her 52nd year.
Mother of Shannelle Ringel (Mike Vickers), Kaitie Pickersgill Ringel, all of Kitchener, and companion of Peter Morrison. Mary will be sadly missed by her siblings, Michael Ringel of Edmonton, AB, Donna (Mike) Koch of Hanover, Anthony Ringel of Chesley and Sharon Ringel of Nanaimo, BC. She will be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mary Jane was predeceased by her brother Francis Ringel and her parents, Edward and Loretta (Caskenette) Ringel.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service celebrating Mary’s life will be held at Mary Immaculate Catholic Cemetery, Chepstow on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 11 a.m.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Bronson, Sandra Ann – passed away at Quinte Health Care (BGH) on Monday, January 12th, 2015 in her 69th year, following a courageous battle against cancer. Daughter of Austin Wease of Peterborough and the late Hazel (nee Post) Wease. Beloved wife of Wayne Bronson of Belleville. Loving mother of Robert Bronson of Medicine Hat, AB and Stewart (Amanda) Bronson of Casselton, Ont. Cherished grandmother of Sheldon, Joseph, Emily, Cooper and Cassandra. Dear sister of: David Wease of Burleigh Falls, Doris (Jack) Johnston of Paudash, Murray (Julianne) Wease of Abbotsford, BC and Mark (Deborah) Wease of Peterborough. Sandra will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews, by extended family members and by many friends. She was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Sharon Wease.
The family will receive friends at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West (613-968-2273), Belleville, on Friday, January 16th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, and on Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of service. The Funeral Service will be conducted in the Chapel on Saturday, January 17th, at 1:00 pm. Rev. Brenda Timpson officiating. Interment will take place at Glen Alda Cemetery in the spring. Following the service there will be further opportunity to share memories of Sandra and refreshments at the Steele Family Centre adjacent to the funeral home.

Shaver – Mary Laura “Doris” of Hazelton Place retirement home, Toronto and formerly of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at her late residence on Friday, January 9th, 2015, in her 102nd year. Beloved wife of the late Murray Shaver and loved mother of Jean Zsolt (Late Andrew) of Toronto, Mary Shaver of Toronto, Evelyn MacNicol (Hugh) of Toronto, Catherine Thompson (Jan) of Burlington, Helen Shaver (Steve) of Vancouver Island, BC, and Margaret Kay (Stephen) of Peterborough. Cherished grandmother of 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dear sister of Mary Rodgers of Peterborough and Yvonnne Sell (Joe) of Edmonton, AB; sister-in-law of Rose Shaver of St. Thomas and Stewart Henderson of Kent, WA. Predeceased by her four brothers, Alvin, Bernard, Albert and Theodore and her three sisters, Aleta, Frances and Helen. Doris was born in Victoria Harbour on August 31st, 1913, daughter of the late Peter and Julia (Brunault) Cadeau. She was a long time member of Holy Angels’ Catholic Church in St. Thomas and was an active member of the Catholic Women’s League as well as an active volunteer in the St. Thomas Community. She was also a member of St. Basil’s Parish in Toronto.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Angels’ Catholic Church, 502 Talbot Street, St. Thomas on Saturday, January 17th, 2015 at 1:00pm. Interment to follow in Holy Angels’ Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0850) on Friday, January 16th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Loving grandmother of Crystal, Robert, Nicole, Amanda, Tonya and Kevin and great grandmother of Nicholas, Ben, Emerald and Madison. CAMERON, Malcolm of Strathroy, Ontario
Cameron, Malcolm (Mac), of Strathroy, Ontario, on Dec. 27, 2014. Loving husband of Estelle (Piché); dear father of David and his wife Catherine Wooden of Strathroy, and Nancy and her husband Rick Vincent of Kelowna, British Columbia; proud grandfather of Terri Cameron (Bernie Ugolini) of Milton, Steve Cameron (Jacki Masse) of London, and Scott and Luke Vincent of Kelowna, B.C.; great-grandfather of Austin and Alyssa Cameron. Predeceased by his parents Earl (1959) and Cora (1981) Cameron. Mac was born in Sudbury on October 20, 1930. He attended Espanola High School and Queen’s University in Kingston. He was a teacher and vice-principal at Strathroy District Collegiate Institute, principal at North Middlesex District High School, and principal at Glencoe District High School. He was a life member of the Strathocha Shrine Club and an avid musician who received his gold card from the London Musicians Association. He played saxophone and clarinet in many London and area orchestras, and in later years formed his own band, The Music Makers. Visitation will be at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy, on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 from 2-5 p.m. According to Mac’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Cremation will take place, with interment of ashes in a private family service at Strathroy Cemetery. Donations may be made in Mac’s memory to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation, the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Auxiliary, or the charity of your choice.
