(Faithful member and supporter of Kingsview United Church, Oshawa ; member of the Easter Rebekah Lodge #350, Pickering)
Peacefully with family by her side, at Fairview Lodge, Whitby on Friday August 12, 2005. Beulah (nee Shelp) in her 85th year. Beloved wife of The Rev. Robert J. McNaught and the late James McNaught. Loving mother of Al and his wife Cathy of Sandford, Bruce and his wife Teri of Calgary, Catherine and her husband James Ireland of Edmonton, Jean McNaught of Peterborough, James and his wife Jennifer of Orleans, Elizabeth Starrett of Oshawa, Robert McNaught of Edmonton and the late Robert James. Fondly remembered by her 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Iva Shelp of Ottawa, Doris and her husband Don Graham of Russell, Marjorie Clark of Edmonton, Cora and her husband Walter Dey of Ottawa, Jim Shelp and his wife Gail of Ottawa, Rosemary and her husband Jack Donovan of Montreal, Norma and her husband Bert Hjeldnes of Courtenay, B.C. and the late Mervyn. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Sunday August 14 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A service will be held at KINGSVIEW UNITED CHURCH, 505 Adelaide Ave. E., Oshawa, on Monday August 15 at 3 p.m. Visitation at ST. ANDREWS and ST. PAUL'S UNITED CHURCH, Russell, Ontario on Tuesday August 16 from 12 noon with service at 1 p.m. Interment North Russell Cemetery. Donations made in memory of Beulah to Kingsview United Church or The Alzheimer Society of Durham Region would be appreciated. Special thanks to the staff at Fairview Lodge for their loving and attentive care given to Beulah during her stay.

After a courageous battle with cancer, peacefully in Dryden, Ontario on August 12th in his 70th year. Dear father of sons Dale and Dean, daughter Shelley Milburn and son-in-law Mike Granville, all of Oshawa. Dear Grandfather of Laura, Michelle and Melanie. Great-grandfather of Cameron. Dear brother of Renelle Roy of Ottawa. Predeceased by brother Rene. Cremation. A Memorial Service will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Thursday September 1, 2005 at 7 pm.

HARPER, Cathy
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Thursday August 11, 2005, Cathy Harper (nee Cover) at 51 years of age. Beloved daughter of the late Christopher and Margaret Cover. Loving mother of Julie Harper and Mike Harper. Dear sister of Frank Cover and his wife Bernie and Ken Cover (predeceased) and his wife Shirley. Cathy will be fondly remembered by Doug Harper, Bob Duggan, Marg Black, Bill Duggan and her nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East, Oshawa with funeral service in the chapel on Monday August 15th, 2005 at 1p.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. At the family's request, memorial donations to the Durham Regional Cancer Centre or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Visitation Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

HARVEY, Eliza Mary Reeves
(1933-2005)
On Thursday, August 11, 2005 after a long courageous battle with cancer, in her 73rd year. Predeceased by her first husband Wallace Woolridge (1967) and her second husband John Norman Harvey (2005), her parents Annie Bowman and Charles Anstey. Survived by her daughters Elizabeth (Michael) Smith, Karen (Michael) Hulan, Shirley (Glenn) Smith and her son Bill, her sister Maria (Wallace) Warren and her brother Charles (Rolly) Anstey. She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren Chris, Michelle, Jennifer, Jody, Nicole, Dustin and her 7 great-grandchildren. In Eliza's memory, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Charity of choice would be appreciated.

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health-Whitby on Thursday, August 11th, 2005 in her 84th year. Dearly beloved wife of H.A. "Robby" Robinson. Loving mother of Allan Robinson, Paula Peel, Jane Machan, Catherine Armour and Janet Thursby and mother-in-law of William Peel, David Armour, Reginald Thursby and the late Lester Machan. Grandmother of Robert and Matthew Peel; Christopher, Geoffrey and Jennifer Armour; Elizabeth Machan; Gregory and Laura Thursby. Great Grandmother of Emily and Sebastian Armour. SORAPURE, Louis
Suddenly on Thursday August 11, 2005 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 83. Loving husband of Marion Sorapure (nee Cooper), and the late Gloria Sorapure (nee McKenzie). Loved father of Carolyn (Art) van der Kloot, Mignon Sorapure (Dale Gartley), and Chris Sorapure (Tina). Grandfather of Chantelle, Tricia (Dan), Natalie (Andre), Annaliese (Steve), Kari, Ben, Brian, and great grandfather of Melissa, Davin, Robert, Chris, Joshua, Jacob and Kayla. Sadly missed by his step children, step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren. A special thank you to the 9th Floor Staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their excellent care. Cherished Grandmother of 18, Great Grandmother of 34, predeceased by grandson Ralph Edward (1961). Dear sister of Frances Van Der Zwaag (Netherlands) and predeceased by brothers Jan and George and sister Tryntje. Loving grandfather of Andrew, Donald, Gareth, Sarah, Christine, Michelle, Sean, Stacey, Drew, Michael, Jessica and Charles and great grandchildren Emily, Daniel, Peter and Jaxon. GOODMAN, Earl Arthur
Entered into rest at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday August 10, 2005 at the age of 66. Earl, beloved husband of Marguerite. Dear father of Karen and her husband Richard Evely, and Cheryl and her husband Ken Willman. Loving Popa of Dalton and Tayler Evely, and Ryan Willman. Fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Margery McPherson, his sisters Iona and her husband Keith McInroy, Ruth and her husband Clare Millage, Irene Doucet, and by his brother Keith and his wife Carol Goodman, and his sister- in-law Marie and brother-in-law Doug Richards. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.

HALEY, Lawrence Irwin (Lorne)
In his 89th year and after a brief illness at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, while his loving family attended him at his bedside, serenely departed for his heavenly home. Predeceased by his loving wife Eileen (1999), son Wayne and daughter Gail (2003) as well as brothers Harold, Arthur and Ernest. Born in North Bay in 1916 Mr. Haley was a veteran of the Canadian Armed Services and stationed at Halifax during W.W.II. After working several years at C.P. Railway in North Bay, Mr. Haley became a long time resident of Whitby (since 1951) and worked at Fittings Ltd. in Oshawa until his retirement. Mr. Haley was a most devoted family man, known always for his kindness, good humour and keen sense of justice. Mr. Haley is survived by his son Ken, daughter Raquel, son David and daughter Jean as well as grandchildren Dan, Janet, Debra Lynn, Darryl, Glenn, Melinda, Trevor, Anna, Laura, Richard, Carmen, Carlos, Angela and Derek, also survived by great grandchildren Brian, Diane, Aaron, Alex, Rebeca, Kenneth, Valeria and Patricio. 'Because he has loved me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honour him, with a long life I will satisfy him and let him see my salvation.' - Psalm 91

At Lakeridge Health Oshawa, on Wednesday, August 10, 2005. Anna Maria loved wife of the late Joszef Legvari. Loved mother of Kathy and her husband Vilmos Zolderdo and Joseph and his wife Karen Legvari. Loved Omi of grandchildren Katie, Joseph Jr. and Michael. A memorial service will be held at Thornton Crematorium Chapel Thornton Cemetery, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa on Tuesday August 16th, at 1 p.m. Donations to the Lakeridge Health Oshawa Building Fund would be appreciated. John and Sytske (Sylvia) Amesbury of Pontypool; Pieter and Jo Miedema of Kamloops, BC; Hermann and Diane Miedema of Las Vegas, USA; Jelle and Pam Miedema of Simcoe Island and Jikke Miedema of Bowmanville; grandchildren Judith and Jenny of Bowmanville; Joanne of Kamloops; Tim and Sandra of Seattle and Jamie of Calgary; Jelle Douwe and Charmaine of St. Albert, AB; Andy of New York City; Aaron of Kingston; the late Joyce (2001); great-grandchildren Brayden, Atticus and Suzanne.
