MICHELSON, Adele
Surrounded by her family, Adele passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at Centenary Hospital, in her 86th year. Loving mother of Ian (Ain) and his wife Dianne and Epp (Edie) Vanderzee and her husband John. Proud and loving Granny to her grandchildren, Matthew, Derek, Jason, Sarah and Krista. Proud great-grandmother to Jacob. She will be sadly missed by her friends and family in Canada, United States, Sweden and her homeland Estonia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Adele's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

MILLS, Steven John
Peacefully in his mother's arms, on Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 45. Steven Mills, beloved son of Stan and Betty Mills of Port Perry. Loved brother of Glen and his wife Gail of Ajax. Dear uncle of Shane Ryan and Tara. Private arrangements entrusted to the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171. PELLETIER, Normand
Passed away at home, surrounded by loved ones, on Tuesday, May 24th, 2005. Adored husband to Marianne (DeeDee). Deeply loved by his three daughters, Lisa, Michelle and Nina. Treasured "Papa" to Cody and Samantha, and admired father–in–law to Earl and Marc. Cherished brother, nephew, uncle and dear friend to many many more. After a courageous fight with cancer with family by his side at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa on Tuesday, May 24th, 2005 in his 72nd year. Dearly beloved husband of Margaret. Loving father of Priscilla Arnold and her husband Danney "Butch", Stephen and his wife Valerie and Janine Pottier. Cherished Grandfather of Stephanie McDougall (Ian), Stacey Arnold; Laura and Robert Pottier; Justin (Carol) Proulx and Olivia Pottier. Great Grandfather of Alexandra McDougall and Madison Proulx. Brother of Margaret d'Entremont, Bernadette Webber (Sterling), Annette Dempsey (Brendan) and Paul Pottier (Michelyn) and predeceased by Louis and Raymond. Sadly missed by sister-in-law Mae and Letha Pottier. Loving grandfather of Jamie, Tara (Chris), Tammy, Bryan, Carrie, Brooks, Allison, Craig and Caitlin, and great grandfather of Tyler, Kayla, Nicholas, Matthew, Christina, and Christopher Jr. Dear brother of Esther, Lil and Paul. Friends may call at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street east, Oshawa, on Thursday May 26th from 7-9pm. A memorial service in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday May 27th at 10am. Peacefully, at Bon Air Nursing Home in Cannington on Tuesday, May 24th, 2005. In her 93rd year. Marjorie (nee Mulock), beloved wife of the late Frank Straughan. Dear mother of Kenneth and his wife Donna, Darlene and her partner Tom and Mike Straughan. Loving grandmother of eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister Audrey Lee and late husband Bill, Elsie Houghton and late husband Wilf and James Mulock and his wife Alice. Donations to Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. Special thank-you to all the staff at Bon Air Nursing Home for their love and care.

TURPIN, Ronald E.
(Retired 44 year employee of Duplate P.P.G. Ltd.) Suddenly at home on Tuesday, May 24th, 2005 in his 78th year. Husband of the late Sheila. Loving father of Brenda Johns (Mike), Valerie Hoffmann, Debbie Burns (Don), Rhonda Cain (Bill), and Ronald Turpin Jr. Grandfather of Chris, Erin, Kyle, Jessie, Adam, McKenzie and Willie. Sadly missed by his brother Ralph Turpin and his wife Mary. BLACKBURN, Leighton Mark Anthony
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in his 37th year on Monday May 23, 2005, with the people he loved most at his side, loving wife Julie and daughter Tamia Blackburn. Leighton (a.k.a. Mark) will be greatly missed by the many who were touched by his life, including his beloved mother Hyacinth and his father the late Rev. Dr. Keith L. Blackburn. He will be sadly missed by his brothers Kenny and Stephen Blackburn and step-brother and sister Andrew and Kerry Blackburn. Mark will be remembered by his sisters in law Anna and Tamara, his nieces and nephews Robert, Isaiah, Mikayla and his godson Marc-Anthony, his treasured Aunt and Uncle Inez and Donald Allen and cousin Dwayne. He will be fondly missed by many of his other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church.

MacKINNON, (Andrew) John
It is with great sadness, the family announces the sudden loss of John on Monday, May 23rd, 2005, in London, Ontario, at the age of 36. Ian and Merilyn MacKinnon of Port Perry, will dearly miss their cherished son John. Much loved brother of Carolynn, John will be remembered for his friendly charm, keen wit, love of live music and guitar, and his unique knack for being at the right place at the right time. John will be missed by many friends and family members. For many years John was given great strength and courage through his friendship with Bill W. A reception will follow at the MacKinnon home, 49 Commons Blvd., Port Perry. STROUD, Evylin Patricia
Wife of Jean-Michel Komarnicki for 30 years, Evylin died suddenly Monday, May 23, 2005 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville. Born December 24, 1950 in Toronto, Evylin was the daughter of the late Edward Stroud and Evilyn (nee Harknett). She is survived by Aunt Kit (Catharine) Cook who was like a mother to her, brother Jim Stroud, sister Heather Jarman-Gotthardt (Mark), brother-in-law Myron Komarnicki (Danielle), and nieces and nephews Isabelle, Frank, Jason, Maxym, Chanel and Kelsa. In accordance with Evylin's wishes, her family and friends will be gathering together for a Memorial Service. Please join us on Sunday June 5th, at 2p.m. at the Clarington Beech Centre, 26 Beech Street, Bowmanville, Ontario. For directions please call 905-623-9060. VITALE, Lina
On Monday, May 23rd, 2005. Lina was the loving daughter to the late Giovanni and Giorgia. Dear sister to Frank (Suzette). Loving aunt to Vanessa, Michelle and Michael. Lina will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends. A Mass to celebrate Lina's life will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church, 1148Finch Avenue, Pickering. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
