BOUCHER, Helen Dorothy
After a short illness, on Tuesday, December 5, 2006, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 51. Helen (nee Gerber), beloved mother of Silas Wilson and Amanda of Toronto, and Leeann Wilson of Peterborough. Loving grandmother of Dakota. Loved daughter of Wilma and the late Kalmon Gerber of Port Perry. Dear sister of Sandy Durham and Des Dubreuil of Port Perry, Linda and her husband Rick Collins of Oshawa, Bill Gerber and his wife Shannon of Greenbank, and John Gerber and his wife Eileen of Port Perry. The Family of Helen Boucher will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Saturday, December 9th, from 10 - 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. with Pastor Fred Penney officiating. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society.

CAMPBELL, Wallace C. 'Wally'
(retired 27 year employee of CBM, Whitby; collector of Classic Chevy Trucks)
After a lengthy illness at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 in his 62nd year. Wally, loving husband of Sandra (nee Porter) of Bowmanville for 43 years. Dear father of Dean and his wife Rebecca of Oakville, Rebecca and her husband Will O'Grady of Newcastle and the late Dena. Beloved Papa of Liam, Nevan and Jonah. Caring son-in-law of Mildred 'Millie' Porter of Oshawa. Loved Brother of Harry Campbell and his wife Sharon of Edmonton, Brother-in-law of Donna and her husband Kevin Becker of Tavistock and Frank Porter and his wife Loya of Alberta. He will be sadly missed by his four legged companions Quinzee and Kassady. Friends may call at the NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S. (Just north of the 401 at the lights) on Thursday, December 7, 2006, for visitation from 1p.m. until time of memorial service in the chapel at 3 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

HILLER, Shirley
Peacefully at the Wynfield Nursing Home in Oshawa on December 5, 2006 in her 69th year. Fondly remembered by her children Vernon Hiller and his wife Michelle and Annemarie Howarth and her husband Alex. Proud grandmother of Kyle, Christine and Aidan. Also remembered by Ray Hiller. Will be missed by her Aunt Bernice and cousins Deb and Doug. Resting at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, (110 Dundas Street East, Whitby 905-668-3410). Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Cremation to follow. In memoriam, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.

RANNEY, Leila
Age 77 years.
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Tuesday, December 5th 2006. Beloved wife of Dr. Ken Ranney. Loving mother of Robert & Sonya, Elaine & Henry, Kevin, & Chris, Glynis & Mike. Cherished grandmother of Jenna, Kaitlin, Evelyn, Eric, Rebecca & Steffan. Survived by her loving sister Edwina & Bob. Visitation will take place at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Friday, December 8th 2006 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at DAWES ROAD GOSPEL CHURCH 383 Dawes Road, Toronto, on Saturday, December 9th 2006 at 2 pm. For those that wish to do so, donations may be made to Durham Access to Care in Leila's memory.

THOMPSON, Eileen Marion
Passed away at Lakeridge Health, Bowmanville on Tuesday, December 5th, 2006, in her 89th year. Dearly loved wife of Frank Thompson of Ashburn for 68 years. Much loved mother of Myrle and her husband Don Alves of Ashburn. Grandmother of Robert Alves and his wife Lisa of Brooklin. Great-grandmother of Taylor and Tori. Predeceased by her brothers Lou, Arthur and Earl and her sister Ethel (Beelby). Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews. Resting at MEMORIAL CHAPEL BROOKLIN, 79 Baldwin Street, Brooklin Village, Whitby from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. Friday. Then to Brooklin United Church (Princess/Cassels Sts.) Brooklin for funeral service in the church Saturday, December 9th at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at GROVESIDE CEMETERY, Brooklin. If desired, memorial donations to Brooklin United Church, or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. Members of Kivoven Rebekah Lodge Brooklin are asked to assemble in the chapel Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. for service.

TWIST, Iva Mabel
Aged 92 years.
Peacefully at Rosewood Manor on Tuesday, December 5th 2006. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Twist. Loving mother of Raymond & his wife Suzanne, John & his wife Joanne, Cathy & her husband Brian Driver and Murray Twist. Cherished grandmother of Ben & Erin, Chris, Jennifer, Jeff & Sarah, Allison & Dennis. Survived by her youngest sister Marion Allin, Predeceased by her sisters Florence Cryderman & Louise Bell. Visitation will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Thursday, December 7th, 2006 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at ST. PAUL'S UNITED CHURCH, Bowmanville on Friday, December 8th at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's United Church, Bowmanville Hospital or a Charity of your choice.

CRANFIELD, Isabel Hannah
After a courageous battle with Cancer, at Lakeridge Health-Whitby on Monday, December 4, 2006, Isabel (nee Burgess) in her 84th year. Loving mother of Pam Harding and her husband Rick of Oshawa, and Brian Cranfield of Nestleton. Loving and devoted grandmother of Matthew Harding. Dear daughter of the late Emily and Paul Burgess. Dear sister of Emily Goodyear and her late husband, Bill of Wellington, Ont., Charles Burgess and his wife, Evelyn of Scarborough and the late Peggy Sale. She will be fondly remembered by her dear friend Joe Bino and by her nieces and nephews. Isabel was a volunteer at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, for 20 years. Cremation Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens. A Memorial Service will be held in St. Luke's Presbyterian Church 333 Rossland Road West, Oshawa, on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at 12 p.m. with visitation at the church on Tuesday from 11 to 12 p.m. Memorial donations to Lakeridge Health Oshawa Volunteer Resources Department would be appreciated and may be made through the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family at the Lakeridge Health - Oshawa on Monday, December 4th, 2006 at the age of 84 years. Wilbert beloved husband of Christina. Dear father of Joanne (Harold) Wotten of Oshawa and Dianne (Michael) Parker of Florida. Cherished grandfather to Bryan, Brad, Ashley and Jordan. Suddenly, at Winter Haven, Florida on Monday, December 4th, 2006, Sidney A. Hurlock, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Dolores for 58 years. Dear father of Heather and her husband Bob Howes of Windsor and Deborah and her husband Everett Buntsma of Oshawa. Loving grandpa to Stormi (Donald), Damien, Brock (Mabel), Toni (Paul), Kristine (Brian), Samantha and Rob. Lovingly remembered by his 10 great-grandchildren; Morgan, Hayden, Katlynn, Mason, Sydney, Bryce, Haley, Erika, Georgia and Savannah.
