NORTHEY, James Edward "Jimmy"
At his home in Pickering on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 in his 88th year. He is reunited with his beloved wife Hilda who predeceased him in 2005. Jim was a loving father and grandfather who will be sadly missed. In keeping with Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service is planned for a later date.

PENNELL, Ruth Mary
On Tuesday, November 28, 2006, surrounded by her family, Ruth passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, after a spirited and admirable fight against cancer. Beloved wife of Ron Darling. Mother of Shawn Watson, Ruby Watson (predeceased), Corina Watson (Bernie Finlay) and Scott Watson. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Audrianna Watson and Jordan Finlay. Sister of Wayne, Delores, Valerie, Jean, Darlene, Barry, Keith, Dana and their families. Dear daughter of Josephine (predeceased) and Raymond Gibbons. Passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, November 28, 2006. Ben Segal at the age of 55. Dear son of Martin & Marie Segal. Beloved father of Cassandra. STOVELL, Alice Gertrude
Died peacefully at Porteous Lodge in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, on Tuesday, November 28th, 2006 in her 78th year. Alice was born in Oshawa, Ontario, in 1929, daughter of the late John and Mary (Callaghan) Normoyle. Alice married Charles Albert Stovell in 1951. She will be greatly missed by her two children Anne Venning (David) of Saskatoon, Sask., and Wayne Stovell (Annie) of Fraserville, Ontario. She is also survived by her brother Gregory Normoyle of Whitby, Ontario. Joyfully remembered by her grandchildren Sarah and Shawn Venning, Jason and Jeremy Stovell and great-grandchildren Taven, Ava and Jase. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Alice was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles and her siblings John, Phillip, Marion, Robert, Elizabeth, Daniel, Patrick and Ruth. Alice was a precious gift from God. She loved her husband and children dearly and their children in turn. Alice touched many lives, including relatives, friends and those with whom she worked for 30 years at the Durham Separate School Board. Hardly a day went by that they wouldn't see that smiling face and positive outlook. After retirement she moved to Saskatoon where she enjoyed a new chapter in her life and remained until her death. She was a devout Roman Catholic and her faith carried her through her life. She is gone now to be with Our Lord. Alice's cremated remains will be laid in her final resting place with her husband Charles at Resurrection Cemetery. It is with great sadness that the loving family of Irene Grushecki announces her passing in her 79th year on Monday, November 27, 2006. She leaves her loving husband of 53 years, Walter. Daughter, Denise and son-in-law, Dave Ferns, grandson, Larry Lamanna, granddaughter, Lucille and her husband, Mike Ste. Marie, great grandchildren Carter and Maya Ste. Marie. She may be gone to God's open arms and with that her pain, her crooked little smile, laughter and loving ways. She will be in the hearts and memories of everyone who knew this lovely lady. Norman will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews especially Eunice, Cathy, Nikki, George and his many, many friends.
