BAIOCCHI-BANKS, JEAN
(Past Regent - Member of Women of the Moose Lodge in Oshawa)
Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Sunday, November 26, 2006. Jean at age 77. Beloved wife of Bill Baiocchi for four years. Wife of forty years to the late Neil Banks. Loving mother of Chris and his wife Cathy, Tim and his wife Kimberly, Phillip and his wife Dorie-Anna and Sheri and her husband Bob. Dear grandmother of Erica, Lindsay, Jesse, Sherry, Tommy, Donald, Brandon and great-grandmother to Taylin, Emma, Ben and William. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. Memorial service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, November 30th, 2006 at 11am. Inurnment to follow service at Thornton Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family. Visitation 1 hour prior to service time.

MULLEN, Robert H.
Peacefully on Sunday, November 26, 2006 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Robert, beloved husband of Anne Mullen (nee Martin). Robert is survived by his brothers and sisters and their families in the east coast and the US. Brother in law of Michael LeBlanc. Special friend of Dianne, Brad and family. Robert will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all his family and friends. Friends may call at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, on Thursday, November 30th from 12 noon until funeral service time of 1pm. Cremation. Passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 26th, 2006 at Lakeridge Health-Bowmanville. June is survived by her husband Bob after 55 years of marriage. Beloved and adored mother to Scott, Paul (Sherry) and Mark. Loving Grandma to Robert, Michael and Jonathon. Passed away with her family at her side on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa at the age of 62. Joy Holtby dearly beloved wife of Doug Holtby of Kilworthy. Loving mother of Jim and his wife Tammy Holtby and Christine and her husband Mark Vonk. Dear grandmother of Alexandra, Ryan, Samantha and Nicole. Dear sister of Bob (Jill) Whiteley and Ted (Judy) Whiteley. Joy will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Joy Holtby will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation would be appreciated.

Peacefully at the Winbourne Park Long Term Care Facility in Ajax on Saturday, November 25th, 2006 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon R. Hunt. Cherished mother and best friend of Ron (Kim) and daughter Patti Washer (Charlie). Dearest Nana of Kevin, Gord, Lori, Emily and Robyn. Beloved Bubba of Kamryn, Rob, Courtney, Kayla, Myah, Jesse, Dalon, Bricklyn, Merek and Chase. Survived by brother Fred and sister Margaret. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Tuesday, November 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, November 29th at 11:00 a.m. Cremation. LOVEGORDON, Pierce Elijah
Peacefully surrounded by loving family and friends at his residence on Saturday, November 25th, 2006 at the age of 4 years old. Pierce, precious son of John and Denise. Cherished brother of Trevor, Bradley and Alexis. Adored grandson of Nana Vera Gordon, Grandpa Bill, Grandma Helen Love, (the late Grandpa Philip Love) and also Grandma Naomi Fetterly. Much loved Godson of Lynda and Willy Hamilton. Dear nephew of Colleen (Bruce) Brown, Janice Gordon, Chris (Marie) Love, Michele (Chris) Kay and their families. Will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins of our extended family. Many thanks for the additional love and support of friends and our wonderful neighbors. Peacefully passed away on Saturday, November 25th, 2006 at the Bowmanville Hospital. Mikel Sprague in his 63rd year. Loving husband of Kate and dear father of Liz and Pam. Mike will be fondly remembered for his tenacity and fun loving nature by his many friends, family and Ed. Memorial Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

JAMES, Terry
Terry James, the greatest husband and father one could ever wish for, died peacefully on Friday, November 24, 2006, surrounded in love from his family and friends, in his 69th year. Terry was a devoted and loving husband to Marie for 24 years, an exceptional father to Brian, Theresa, and Joy, and fun-loving grandfather to Erin, Katelyn, and Stephanie. Terry was predeceased by his parents Jessica and Albert, sisters Gladys and Karen, and brother Raymond. He is survived by his brothers Albert, Roy, George, Gord, and Reggie. Terry was also blessed with a number of terrific nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly and watched grow up with great pride. An avid volunteer, Terry belonged to and assisted many community organizations, with Civitan International and the Durham Senior Games, his two greatest passions. Terry's zest for life, sense of humour, and endless energy in organizing special projects amazed all who knew him and this is what we will remember most about him. The family wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors at Centenary Hospital and love to the nurses, physio, and support staff who took care of Terry during his time there, especially Lois, Wanda, Scott, and Pam West. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church (1148 Finch Ave., Pickering). Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Special Olympics would be greatly appreciated.

SPADEMAN, E. Ralph
At the Lakeridge Health Centre, Port Perry on Friday, November 24, 2006, in his 82nd year. Devoted friend of Norma Shearer. Loving father of Liz McCaughey (Dean) of Cobourg and Susan Wilson (Robert) of Port Hope. Sadly missed by 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Walter and Ruth Spademan. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in early May, 2007. In memory of Ralph, donations to the Lakeridge Health Centre, Port Perry would be appreciated.

Taus, Carl Taus and his wife Brenda, Lorraine Jones and Peter Schmahl. Cherished grandfather of Rachael, Tyler, Tiffany, Amy and Jamie. Dear brother of Karl Urbanetz. Loving mother of Randell and his wife Patricia, Cynthia Armstrong and her husband Michael and Jackie Barrett and her husband John. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Caitlin, Erin, Lauran, Shawn and Ryan. Dear sister of Keith. Predeceased by her sister Jean and by her brothers Don and Clifford.
