MANRIQUE, Freida
Peacefully at home, on November 11, 2006 in the loving arms of daughters Jaclyn and Allison and husband Sonnie, our sweet mother walked on ahead to join Mama and Papa and other relatives who have gone before us. No words can express how truly we love and miss her. We will endeavor to always remember her patience, strength, and above all her happy countenance even in the face of the debilitating disease that took her from us.
A rose once grew where all could see,
sheltered beside a garden wall,
and as days passed swiftly by,
It spread its branches, straight and tall.
One day, a beam of light shone through
a crevice that had opened wide.
The rose bent toward its warmth,
then passed beyond to the other side.
Now, you who deeply feel its loss,
Be comforted - the rose blooms there,
its beauty even greater now,
Nurtured by God's own loving care.
- A. L. Frink
