RANDALL, Helena Barbara (nee Whyte)
Passed away on Wednesday, November 1st, 2006, (nine days before her 81st birthday), with her son, Martin by her side. Born November 10th, 1925 in Clones, County Monaghan, Erie, Barb (as most called her) emigrated to Canada in 1957. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her for her kindness, gentle manner and wonderful sense of humour. She is survived by her loving sons, Martin and his girlfriend, Ruth and Michael and his wife, Mee-jung. Sadly missed by her grandsons, Steve and Rory her great-grandchildren, Leeland and Ryane. Helena was pre-deceased by her daughter, Lynne, her brothers, Mannix and Charlie and her sister, Josie. Her sons would like to thank her great and devoted friend, Anne for all her support as well as the staff at Golden Pond in Hillsdale Estates for their effort and support to comfort and care for our Mother over the past months. At Barbara's request, cremation is to take place. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denis Sergio Salvador. Born January 3, 1962 in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. Denis passed away November 1, 2006 at Lakeridge Hospital after losing his battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Johane (nee Rajotte) and much loved father of Francesca "Chakoo", Tomas and stepdaughter, Isabel Lamonde. Denis is survived by his parents, son of Estelle and Virginio Salvador of Rouyn-Noranda, sisters Ann (Christopher Morneau) and Lynn (Frank) of Ottawa. Son-in-law of Colette Soucy and Gilles Tremblay of Rouyn-Noranda and the brother-in-law of Lynn (Alain Matard), Suzanne (Alain Tremblay), Monique (Richard Desgagné) and Vianne (Eric Paquet). He leaves behind many family members (Italy), his aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, co-workers (Ontario Power Generation) and friends. His wisdom, determination and love for his family will always be cherished. The funeral will be held in Rouyn-Noranda and a memorial service will be held in Oshawa later in November.
