(Served in the Royal Canadian Navy 1956 - 1961; Retired employee of Revenue Canada and retired employee of the Beer Store)
Peacefully at home after a brief battle with cancer. Dearly beloved husband of 47 years to Dorothy (neé Russell). Loving father of David and his wife Yvonne and Judy and her husband Mike Jones. Cherished Grandfather of Megan, Stephanie and Daniel. Dear brother of Bill and his wife June, Roy and his wife Charlene and predeceased by his sister Gail. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and his dogs Riley and Dude. Predeceased by his parents Art and "Ben" Morley. It was the request of Vaughn that cremation take place with a private family memorial. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE, "Thornton Chapel" 847 King St. West (905-721-1234).

WHITE, Robert "Bob" Jr.
(Resident of Oshawa, Ontario)
At his residence in Oshawa, Ontario on Monday, September 18, 2006 in his 52nd year. Beloved son of Robert (Bob) Sr. & June White of Haliburton. Loving brother of Penny (Mrs. Peter Burchill) of Castlerea Co. Roscommon, Ireland and Lee Anna White of Innisfil. Also lovingly remembered by his nieces Shanna, Samantha, Rebecca and his nephew Alexander. Predeceased by his sister Tina. Also remembered by his aunts, uncles and his extended family. Funeral Mass from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church on Monday morning, October 2, 2006 at 11 o'clock. Interment later St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Haliburton. As expressions of sympathy donations to St. Anthony's Futures Fund would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully on Sunday, September 17, 2006 ay Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 52. Sally, loved wife of the late Ron Baker. Beloved mother of Debra-Lyn and her husband Leonard Hogel, Delaine and her husband Dean Foskett, Steven Baker, and the late Michael Emmerson. Loving grandma of Dustin, Cassandra, Makayla, Amanda, Ashleigh, Danielle, and Brooke-Lyn. Dear sister of Mary & her husband Gary DeMerchant and Jim Walker & his wife Sharon. Daughter of the late Charles and Joyce (neé Nesbitt) Walker. Dear friend of Judy Holmes and family, and is loved by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Lovingly remembered by Cheryl-Ann Post and Kimberly Nelson. Sally will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all her loving family and many dear friends. Special thanks to the wonderful staff in ICU/CCU at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for the loving care given to Sally. Survived by his brother Fred & his wife Hazel, and by his sister Marie Thompson & her husband Durwood. Frank will be sadly missed by his extended family Tony & Betty Bingham, and Tara & Mandy. Services at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with a Memorial Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. Cremation Thornton Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre would be appreciated. Visitation Wednesday from 1:30 pm until service time.

Iola passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 17, 2006 in her 86th year. Loved wife of Harold Jones predeceased April 9, 1992. Beloved mother of Neil Jones (Debbie) of Callander and Darlene Robichaud (Garry) of Bradford. Cherished "Grand mum" of Aaron Robichaud (Diana) of Bradford, Chris Jones (fiancée Crystal Gordon) of Guelph, and Andrea Jones of Waterloo and great-grand mum of Brianna Robichaud. Loved aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Iva Ellis, sisters Bernice (Everold Toole) and Dorothy. In Iola's memory donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Foundation.

June passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, September 17, 2006 in her 80th year. Our devoted Mum will be greatly missed by Arthur, Garry (Nancy), Ronald, Charlaine and Debra (Jerry) and by her grandchildren Kryss (Shelley), Bryan (Fawna), Patrick, Nicholas and Lindsey and five great-grandchildren, Olivia, Laura, Kamryn, Kourtney and Rya and all others who knew her. The family is most grateful to the nursing staff of Lakeridge Health Oshawa - 3rd floor Nephrology and Paramed staff especially Linda, Gail and Mary during this last year. A private family gathering will be held in her honour to celebrate her life at a later date. Loving father of Sharon & Fred; Brenda & Gerry; Joyce & Lorne; the late Charlotte & Case; Roy & Shelly; Mark & Debra; Audra and Peter & Michelle. Predeceased by his son-in-law Wayne. Cherished Grandpa of 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers William, Francis, Charles, Alvin, Marshall, John and his sister Ethel. He will be sadly missed by his cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. PRICE, Dr. Ralph M.
(Family Doctor in Brooklin, Port Perry and Blackstock for over 40 years)
Suddenly, on Saturday, September 16, 2006, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Bowmanville, at age 66. Dr. Ralph Price of Manchester, beloved husband of Patricia (neé Hoare). Loved father of Kim Price and her husband Bruce Burgess of Toronto, Matthew Price of Friedrichshafen, Germany, and Taylor Price and his fiancée Sylvia Biro of Toronto. Loving grandfather of Mackenzie and Madelaine Burgess. Dear brother of Kathy and her husband Alvin Murphy of Alliston, Doug Price and his wife Diane of Oshawa, and Bob Price and his wife Sharon of Dundalk. Son of the late Clarence and Laurene Price. Ralph brought a great passion to all aspects of his life, to his family, to the hundreds of patients in his medical practice and to his pursuit of knowledge in many areas. He had a special passion for history and for the art, furnishings, and artifacts of early Canada. He was tireless in his search for important examples across the country. He also loved contemporary art, in particular the work of untrained, naïve artists, some of which he discovered and brought to prominence. He and his wife Pat created an important collection of Canadiana that is renowned internationally and that has been made available to a wide public in major exhibitions as well as permanent donations to The National Museum of Man. The family of Dr. Price will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905- 985-2171) on Friday, September 22nd from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1710 Scugog Street (Hwy. 7A) in Port Perry on Saturday, September 23rd at 11 a.m. Private interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Operation Migration, The Mood Disorder Clinic at the Centre of Addiction and Mental Health, or the Charity your choice.

Peacefully at Bethesda Naval Hospital, Maryland on Saturday, September 16th, 2006 in her 86th year. Beloved daughter of the late Alice and Thomas Burt. Predeceased by her husbands Leo Gauer, George Scott and David Dixon. Survived by her loving husband Don Redd. Dear mother of Larry Gauer (Warren), Gene Gauer (Polly), Rick Gauer (Sheila) and Lori Woodrow. Grandmother of Chris (Dave), Rob (Sharon), Steve (Kim), Mandy (Michael), Valerie, Michael, Sarah, Jesse and Thomas. Great-grandmother of Brianna, Aiden, Emma and Jonah. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Eleanor on September 16, 2006 at Ajax Pickering Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Born in 1934 in Lindsay, Ontario. Beloved wife of Kenneth, greatly loved mother of Lisa (Oshawa) and Glenn (Winnipeg). Loving grandmother of Melanie. Survived by sister Betty (Benson) Brown of Belleville. Predeceased by her brothers Robert (Bob) and Bruce. Loved sister-in-law of Lois Brandt (Oshawa) and Dorothy Brandt (Whitby). She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
