Mrs. Doris Prowse
November 13, 1915 - February 29, 2008

At the N.H.S. General Site on Friday, February 29, 2008 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of 70 years of Tom Prowse. Dear mother of Carol and her husband Dave Jones and Gary Prowse. Dear grandmother of Chris and Erin and Ryan and Natalie and great grandmother of Carter Jones. The family will receive friends at the Niagara Street Chapel of Butler Funeral Home, 424 Niagara St. (south of Scott) on Sunday, March 9 from 2-4 p.m. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.

Harvey Becker

BECKER, Harvey

Harvey Becker passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving wife of 53 years Alice and his daughter Llona (Jody Jensen). Harvey was predeceased by one brother and is survived by two brothers and three sisters all from the Medicine Hat area.

It was Harvey s request that no funeral service be held at this time.

POWELL Helen Mary, of Harwich Township, formerly of Blenheim, passed away at the CKHA Public General Campus, on Wednesday, March 10, 2010. Born in Chatham, 93 years ago, daughter of the late Herman Cartier and Margaret (Kennedy). Her husband Lorne Powell predeceased in 2006. Surviving are two sons Harry and wife Jackie of Waterloo, James of Blenheim; three daughters Arlene Powell of Harwich Twsp., Patricia Copeland of Oil Springs, Pamela and husband Richard Lucio of Chatham; 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Three sisters Marylou and husband Vern Bechard of Markham, Catherine and husband Vince Gregorio, Vera and husband Ron Sadler of Chatham; sisters-in-law Shirley Powers of Chatham and Evelyn Cartier of London; brothers-in-law Ted Willmore and Glen Powers of Chatham. Predeceased by brothers Ed, Wilfred, Henry, Alfred, Harry and Robert Cartier; sisters Julia Willmore and Clara Jane Kiekens. Friends will be received at the Bowman Funeral Home, 4 Victoria Avenue, Chatham (519-352-2390) for visitation on Friday, March 19, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be conducted at Trinity Anglican Church, Blenheim on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 2:00pm with The Rev. David Fuller and Fr. Richard Cartier officiating. Interment at Evergreen cemetery , Blenheim. Contributions to Blenheim Trinity Anglican Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated.

Suddenly, at his residence Perkinsfield with his family by his side on Thursday February 28th, 2008 in his 48th year. Cherished father of Corey, Michael and Bonnita. Son of the late Zotique and Florence Parent. Loving brother of Sharon, Phil, May, Anthony, Charles, Patty, Rosie, George, Paulette, Chris, Richard, Barbara, Nicky, Lila and Adam. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home, 155 Main Street, Penetanguishene on Monday March 3rd from 11 am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 pm. Cremation to follow. Spring interment St. Patrick's cemetery , Perkinsfield. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

Loved father of Ronald, Janet, David and Harold. Devoted grandfather to his 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his sister Mollie Sleeth

ROBINSON, Delores Lorraine (Daniher) passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2008 at the age of 64 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Delores was the loving wife of Fred Robinson (2006). Also predeceased by her parents John Daniher (1965) and Mary ( Lafromboise ) (2004). Delores is survived by her children Chris Robinson ( Stephanie ), Colleen Vanmackelberg ( Jeff ), Charlene Murray ( John ) and Craig Robinson ( Karen ). Delores was also a beloved mimi to Jeffrey, Travis, Amanda, Jonathan, Sydney and Jacob. Also survived by sister Cathy Deryaw ( Joe ) and many other sister and brother in law's, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Aunts and Uncles who visited mom and helped make this easier to bear. Your love will never be forgotten. Also special thanks to the wonderful staff at Malden Park Palliative Care Unit. Your patience and kindness was appreciated. Delores was retired from the Royal Bank in 1995. She was a special mother and an extra special grandmother. She will be sadly missed and thought of lovingly by those who knew her. Her suffering is over, she is once again together with her beloved Fred. Cremation has taken place. Friends are asked to gather at Victoria Memorial Gardens on Saturday, Mar. 1, 2008 at 10:30 am where a prayer service will be held in the chapel. Donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated. Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home entrusted.

Loving father of Dennis (Sonia) of Barrie, Beverley Cooper of London, Joan Hannafin (Ron Parks) of Plainfield, Wayne (Pat Henderson) of Roslin, Larry (Sharron) of Plainfield, Dale (Janice) of Plainfield, Kathleen Brooks (Keith) of Demorestville, Patricia Putman (Fred) of Corbyville, Dawn Vermilyea (Nathaniel) of Belleville Carol Chamberlain (Tim) of Belleville and predeceased by his son-in-law Doug Cooper. Dear brother of Leon, Carmen, Lois, Kenneth, and Joe. Predeceased by his sister Shirley Sullivan and brother Wilfred. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Melissa, Josh, Madison, Darrin, Devan, Jason, Candice, Krystal, Gabriel, Nathan, Shane, Jeffrey, Kelly, Stephen, Matthew, Julie, Cheryl, Dennis, Paul, Kyle, Karen, Brian, Colleen, Vicky, Chris and his 32 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his grandson Kent.

Interment in St. Charles Borromeo cemetery.

Unexpectedly but peacefully, with his loving wife by his side, Wayne passed away at his residence on February 27, 2008 at the age of 49. Best friend and husband for 25 years to Donna. Proud father of Christopher and Michael. Beloved son of Myrna and Eric Goltz. Brother of David Robinson and his wife Shari, and Steven Robinson. Step-brother of Susie Goltz and Roger and his wife Colleen Goltz. Uncle to several nieces and nephews. Son-in-law of Othello and the late Everal Varey. Wayne will be lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and colleagues. Family and friends will be received at the SCOTT FUNERAL HOME "Brampton Chapel," 289 Main St. N., Brampton (905-451-1100) on Saturday from 2 - 4 & 7- 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday, March 2, 2008 at 1 p.m. Cremation.
