ANDERSON, Annette Mae
Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Sunday, August 6, 2006 in her 72nd year. Dear wife of Pete Anderson. Loving mother of Karen, Peter, Michael (Holly), David (Gaylynn), Willie, Wendy (Joe), Barbara and Harry. She will be sadly missed by her 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren her brothers Dave (Dorothy), Chuck (Cathy) and Jim and predeceased by her brother, Harry (Ruby). Annette not only was a loving caring wife and mother, she also was kind and considerate to the people that had the pleasure of meeting her. She ran a successful catering business for many years in Peterborough. She will be missed but never forgotten and is in God's hands and resting peacefully now. Friends may call on Friday, August 11, 2006 at the HIGHLAND PARK VISITATION/RECEPTION CENTRE, (2510 Bensfort Road, at River Rd. South), for visitation from 1 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 3 p.m. Cremation. BOHONIUK, Mary
Passed away peacefully in her sleep, at the Community Nursing Home, Pickering, on Sunday, August 6th, 2006, in her 102nd year. Beloved wife of the late Harry Bohoniuk, and formerly of the late James Pokorchak. Much loved mother of Lillian Pokorchak, Janet and her late husband, Louis Ewasko, and Harriet and her husband, Orest Salmers. Loving 'Baba' of Andrew and his wife, Elaine, Chris and his wife, Kim, Nadine, Rob, and great-grandmother of Natasha, Jenna, Meaghan, Kyle, Tanya and Elana. Dear sister of Anne Galka and the late Paula Roman. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., with Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Thursday, August 10th, 2006 at 11 o'clock. In Mary's memory, memorial donations may be made to the Deohaeko Support Network, which helps Mary's grandson to live a meaningful life. 'Eternal Memory'

HIGGINS, Muriel F.
On Sunday, August 6, 2006, at the Uxbridge cottage Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Muriel lived a very full, event-filled 80 years and will be sorely missed. A loving and devoted mother, she leaves a considerable void in the lives of her daughter, Tracy Sangwin, her son, Campbell Higgins and his wife, Kathleen. Muriel will also be missed by her dear friend and stepson, Tom Higgins. She was an adoring and cherished 'Bunka' to Douglas, Jackson and Kate Higgins. Loyal sister to June Osborne and her husband, Mitch, Jackie Romain, and the late Ray Denison. Aunt to various nieces and nephews throughout Canada. Muriel leaves a number of true dedicated friends, many of whom knew her affectionately as 'Moo'. A visible interested member of the community, Muriel dedicated herself to various worthwhile services including the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Women's Auxiliary. Muriel is predeceased by her husband and true love D'Arcy Higgins. Their 19 years of marriage included travel, friends, love, laughter, and the joys of country living at 'Just Out of Reach'. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Foundation and the children's Aid Society of Toronto are greatly appreciated.

Peacefully, at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Sunday, August 6, 2006 in his 76th year. Son of the late Alfred Henry & Nettie (Grills) Parr. Brother of Shirley & the late Harold Parr of Napanee and the late Howard Parr. Dear friend of Karen Anderson (companion & caregiver) and her children, Rachel & Michael Anderson all of Bowmanville. Loving uncle of Scott & Susannah Parr of Cobourg, Bonnie & Patrick St. George of Brooklin, Patsy Woodcock, Paul & Rachel Parr, Gregory & Leana Parr all of Napanee, and great-uncle of Benjamin, Abigail, Griffin, Madison, Alene, Cameron, Michael, Jo-Anne, Beverley, Jennifer & Brian. Donations to Diabetes Association, Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, August 6th, 2006 at The Village of Taunton Mills, Whitby, in his 81st year. Loving husband of Doreen. Dear father of Judith, Dian, Denise, Carol (late), Jacqueline and Gerard. Beloved brother of Monica, Ena, Uric (late), Nola, Marilyn, Anthony and Betty. Loving father-in-law of Fernanda, Roger, Roland and Wayne. Cherished Grandfather of Akuansa (Gia), Ambah, Nicholai, Racquel, Sacha, Kyle, Jordana and Kezia. The family would like to extend their thanks to the caring and dedicated staff at The Village of Taunton Mills in Whitby. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 10th at 11:00 A.M. at HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC CHURCH, (91 Ribblesdale Dr., Whitby-near Manning Ave. and Anderson St.). No visitation will be held. BERKOVIC, Joseph
With great sadness that our beloved father died suddenly in his 74th year on Saturday, August 5, 2006. Joseph was born in Bizeljsko, Solvenia. Joseph is predeceased by his beloved wife, Maria. He leaves behind his daughter, Rose, son-in-law, Joe. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Alexander, Anya, and Matthew, and by his brother, Peter in Oshawa, and his brother, Karl and his sister, Angelca in Slovenia. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, Laura, Tracy, Shawn, Shane, Tabatha, Mark, Matthew, Anthony, Chad, Stephanie and her great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Tatiana, Taylor, Ashton, Kristian, Makayla, Dannaka, Makenna, Evan, Aidan, Erica and Teague. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Morley at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital on Saturday, August 5, 2006 in his 76th year. Ruby, his much loved wife of 52 years, was at his side. Loving father of Donald and wife, Judith Young, Lynda and husband, Jonathon Wallace, and Robert and wife, Natalie Jenner. Proud grandfather of Julia, Samuel, Laura, and Phoebe. Brother of Betty, Marion, and Helen and predeceased by siblings Allen, Joan, and Sandra. Morley was a businessman in the trucking industry since 1954. He was the founder of Leek Transport, Durham Containers, and owner of Noble Transport. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 10th at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Church on First Avenue in Uxbridge. If desired, donations to Trinity United Church or Uxbridge Cottage Hospital would be appreciated by the family.

HUTCHINSON, Marilyn Sheila
Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on Friday, August 4, 2006 at the Versa Care Centre in Uxbridge, at age 70. Marilyn (nee Clark) beloved wife of the late Ross Hutchinson of 39 years. Loved daughter of Helen (nee Mustard) of Uxbridge, and the late David Clark. Loving sister of Anne and her husband, John Colby, and Ralph and his wife, Bettyann Clark, all of Uxbridge. Special friend of Mary Hawes and Bernie Upton. A Service to celebrate her life will be held at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Prince Albert, on Friday, August 11, 2006 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Nancy Monteith officiating.
