SMITH, Sarah (Sadie)
Peacefully passed away, on Wednesday, December 3, 2003, at the Ajax and Pickering Health Centre, in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Walter. Loving mother of Anne (Fred Taylor), Eileen (Ron McKnight), and David (Heather). Cherished grandmother of Jim, Bruce, Jeff, Todd, Brian, Lesley and Lindsey. Great- grandmother of Ryan, Jason, Judith Anne, Amanda Lee, Amanda, Kristin, Katy, Andrew, Jaimie and Keegan. The family wishes to acknowledge Barbara Jaffray for her friendship to Sarah. Funeral Service will be held at the McEachie Funeral Home on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 11:00 a, m. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.

COLLINGTON, Beverley
After a courageous battle with Cancer passed away Tuesday, December 02, 2003, in her 63rd year. Dear mother of Alan and his wife Marie Watson, Susan and her husband Dave Viknanek, Donna Darlington and Mike. Dear grandmother of Ashley, Mitchel, Cody, Lee, Joel, and Catherine. Fondly remembered by many friends in the Kawartha Lakes Region. Service in the W.C. Town Funeral Chapel on Friday, December 05 at 1 p.m. followed by Cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

LINDSAY, Davina Cowan
(1899 - 2003).
Beloved wife of the late James Lindsay. Dearest mother of Jeanne Ballantine of Parksville, BC, Eric of Elmira, NY, and the late Douglas of Bancroft, ON. Daughter of the late James & Jane Cowan, she came to Canada from Scotland in 1919. Davina is the last of a family of 6 sisters and 2 brothers. She leaves behind 12 grandchildren, a nephew in Scotland, a niece in England and several great-grandchildren. She was kind, loving and giving and will always be remembered in our hearts. Our gratitude to the staff at Extendicare for their care over the years. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with funeral service in the Chapel on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 11 a.m. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation Friday 7 - 9 p.m. Goodbye for now, Mother.

LYTLE, Margaret Ann (Peggy) (nee O'Neill)
Peacefully on Tuesday, December 2, 2003, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Grant Lytle. Loving mother of Marsha. Sister of Nora McDonough, Arnprior. Visitation/reception at Highland Park Cemetery, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough, on Saturday, December 6, 2003, one hour prior to memorial service at 2 o'clock. MacPHERSON, Christina
Peacefullly surrounded by her family at Ajax-Pickering Hospital on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2003, at the age of 72 (really 21). Loving wife of Peter. Dear mother of Margaret and her husband Jack Oesch of Georgetown, Peter and his wife Cindy of Thunder Bay, Joan and her husband Robert Hein of Oshawa and Colin and his wife Cathy of Whitby. Caring Grandma of Andrew, Eric, David, Christa, Jacqueline, Amanda, Scot, Caitlin, Matthew and Kate. Chrissy will be sadly missed by her sisters Margaret and Jeannie and brother John. Special thank you to her niece Jean Jones for her care and compassion. MCPHEE, Lloyd Wallace
Passed away peacefully at Cornwall General Hospital on Tuesday, December 2, 2003, at the age of eighty-three. Lloyd born and raised in Cornwall Ontario, was a decorated WWII Air Force Veteran. Predeceased by his first wife Monica (nee Purcell), and beloved father of Donald, Andy, Patrick, Rosemary Parish, Michael, Leslie, Lisa Widdifield and Tina. Loving grandfather of sixteen. Brother to Isobel, and predeceased by sisters Jean and Lois and brother Donald. He is survived by Audrey, his loving wife of the past eleven years, and her children Gaye, Sharon, Jaye, and the late Dawna. Friends will be received at the Accettone Funeral Home on Saturday, December 13, at 12pm. A Memorial service to celebrate Lloyd's life will be held in the chapel at 1p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers. contributions made to the Parkinson Society of Canada, in Lloyd's memory would be appreciated.

SHAUGHNESSY, Sylvia Anne
Peacefully, at home in Oshawa, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, December 2, 2003, in her 65th year. Loving and cherished mother of Sandy and her husband David Skitch, Paul O'Shaughnessy, all of Oshawa and Brian O'Shaughnessy of Cambridge. Devoted grandma to Nicholas, Kaylin and Megan. Dear sister of Muriel Mattson, Florence Vinkle, her twin brother Donald Dickinson and his wife Donna and Clair and his wife Judy, all of Kirkland Lake. Will be fondly remembered by Doug O'Shaughnessy and lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends will be received at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Thursday, December 4, 2003 from 6 - 9 p.m. Prayers at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will then take place at the MONETTE AND FRENCH FUNERAL HOME, 450 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake, Ontario (705-567-3565) on Saturday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A service will be held in the Monette and French Chapel on Sunday, December 7, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. Spring interment Kirkland Lake Cemetery. Donations made in memory of Sylvia to the Canadian Cancer Society or the 'Oshawa General Hospital Foundation' Cancer Care Centre would be appreciated.

Peacefully on Monday, December 1, 2003 at Versa Care Centre, Uxbridge. Jean, beloved wife of the late Roy. Dear mother of Ron, Ruth, Don, Wayne and foster sons Phil, Kerry and Joe. Survived by her sister Irene Hollingshead. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Service to be held Low & Low Funeral Home on Thursday at 2 P.M. ELLIS, Cleo (nee Littleton)
Entered into rest Monday, December 1st, 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Alex Ellis. Loving mother of Barbara and Robert Brandon, JoAnne (Mrs. Ray Angrove), Donna (Mrs. Bob Frew), Christopher (Donna), Gregory (Heather), Karen and Kim. Predeceased by Mary Lou (Mrs. David Bean). Sadly missed by her 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Survived by her sister Jackie. Cleo will be lovingly remembered by all of her friends and family. Peacefully on Monday, December 1st, 2003 at Winbourne Nursing Home in Ajax, in his 90th year. Loving husband of Betty for 52 years. Caring father of Margaret and George. Devoted Grandfather to Rebecca and Emily. Lived life with enthusiasm despite declining health in the last four years. Will be missed by many friends. Loving mother of Gavin McCallum and his wife Jill Carleton and Martha McCallum and her husband David Ball. Dear grandmother of Dana, Shawn and Christopher. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Eleanor McCallum will be held in the Low & Low Funeral Home on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 2 p.m. Memorial donations to the Port Perry Community Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.

Suddenly at his residence on Monday, December 1st, 2003. In his 63rd year. Loving father of Paul and Rob. Dear Grandfather of Sydney. Beloved son of Isobel and the late Alex. Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Monday, December 1st, 2003 at the age of 52 years. Bob, beloved husband of the late Lyn (Forrester). Loving father of Ryan, Jody and Kyal. Dear brother of Barbara Thornton and her husband Tim, Marilyn Blaszczak and her husband John, Allan Todd, Michelle Dellanzo and the late John Todd. Lovingly remembered by his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at Tyrone United Church on Friday, December 5th at 1 p.m. Cremation. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated.

WHITEHEAD, Elliot Wesley Stephen
At the age of 21, was tragically taken from us in a car accident on the way to Durham College on Monday, December 1, 2003. Loving son of Cathy and Andy Sauter, and the late Stephen Whitehead. Brother to Mathieu Orban, Morgan Whitehead, and Stephen and Krissy Sauter. He will be sadly missed by his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. It is difficult for us to imagine a world without Elliot in it. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church, 1148 Finch Avenue, Pickering, on Thursday, December 4, 2003 at 10:00 a.m.
