Age 53 years. Passed away at Rouge Valley Hospital, Ajax on Monday, June 29th, 2009. Beloved husband of Mary Jewell Moorcroft & the late Penny. Dear father of Joey & Jamie and step-father of Laura & Jewell. Cherished grandfather to Brianna. Loving son of Thomas & Kathleen Moorcroft and son-in-law of Florence Jewell. Dear brother of Lois, George, Linda & Muriel. Visitation will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St., Bowmanville, on Wednesday, July 1st, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, July 2nd, 2009 at 11 am. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to The Cancer Society.

SOOLEY, David Gregory
Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Monday, June 29th, 2009 at age 44 after a long brave battle with cancer. Much loved husband of Pam (nee Odlum) of Oshawa. Devoted Dad of Amanda and Adam. Son of Dave Sooley of Bewdley and the late Viola. Dear brother of Joys, Ernie (Marie), Angela (Marty) Sooley. Son-in-law of Gerald and Janet Odlum of Burlington and Brother-in-law of Debbie and her husband Tom and Catherine and her husband Ken. Fondly remembered by aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews. Memorial Visitation will be held at MEMORIAL CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N., Whitby, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 8th. Memorial service will follow in the chapel on Thursday, July 9th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hearth Place or the R.S. McLaughlin Cancer Center, Oshawa would be appreciated by the family.

Went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 29, 2009 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Wraight). Lovingly remembered by his children Raymond (Joyce), Elizabeth (Cecil Deyo), Wayne (Tracy) and Darryl (Kathleen). Cherished grandfather of Chris (Terri-Lyn), Mark (Ashley), Jennifer, Jason (Elisabeth Deyo), Sarah Deyo, Ryan (Julia Deyo), Aaron (Natalie), Adam, Matthew, Kevin and Heather Stewart. Great-grandfather of Laina & Jordan, Hayden & Nigel Deyo, and Danika & Brady. Friends will be received at MOUNT LAWN RECEPTION CENTRE, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (North of Hwy 2) 905-443-3376 on Saturday, July 4, 2009 from 1 pm until the time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2:30 pm. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

TURNER, Bonnie (nee Muir)
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, June 29th, 2009 at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa at the age of 56. Beloved mother of Leslie (Colin Hovi) and Sydney (Amanda). Loving sister of Terry Muir (Pat), Lynda Shepherd (Rick) and Janene Franklin. Dear niece of Bobbi McFadden and aunt of Jeff Muir (Hermala), Eric Muir (Samantha) and Harold Franklin. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Marie Muir. She was a dedicated and long-time employee of Ontario Power Generation for 35 years. Beginning in Thunder Bay at the age of 11, Bonnie developed a life long passion for bagpiping, becoming an accomplished world class bagpiper with Peel Regional Police Pipe Band. She went on to achieve numerous international medals and much success throughout her piping career. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) for memorial visitation on Thursday, July 2nd from 2- 4 and 7- 9 P.M. Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, July 3rd at 11:00 A.M. Cremation. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Durham Regional Cancer Centre. A Memorial Service will also take place in Thunder Bay at a later date.

WOJNAROWYCZ, Dmytro
It is with deep sadness that the Wojnarowycz family announces the passing of their beloved husband, father and grandfather. Dmytro leaves behind his loving wife Irena of 49 years, his children Maria & her husband David Borysiak, Anhelyna & her husband Eugene Stefanyshyn, and Lesia Wojnarowycz. Dido will be truly missed by his grandchildren Kataryna, Ivanna, Stephan and Mark. After immigrating to Canada in 1952, Dmytro continued to be very involved in the Ukrainian Church Community and will be forever remembered for his contributions. Dmytro was a proud retired General Motors Employee and member of CAW 222. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 10 a.m. Interment, St. Wolodymyr & St. Olha Cemetery. Panachyda will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Memorial donations to St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church would be appreciated. Visitation Wednesday 2- 4 & 7- 9 p.m.

DEY, Dennis
Passed away at home with his family by his side on Sunday, June 28, 2009 in his 63rd year. He will be missed by his wife Gail, daughters Debbie (son-in-law Marc) and Donna. Proud Papa of grandson Joey. He is survived by sister Ruth (Boo-boo) and brother-in-law Tim. Dennis will be sadly missed by the rest of his family, friends and many pets. If one so desires, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Durham Region.

FAIR, Merridee-Anne
February 17, 1971- June 28, 2009
It is with great sadness over our loss that her family announces Merridee's passing away peacefully a the Kingston General Hospital. Merridee was the beloved daughter of Jeannie Fair and Mike (Wendy) Fair of Smiths Falls and formerly of Oshawa. She is survived by her sisters Kristine Fair-Clemmens and Wendy LeBrun (Norman) and is lovingly remembered by her partner Mark Flynn and as "stepmonster" to his son Zachary. Sister-in-law of Brian Clemmens of London. Auntie Merridee will be remembered by Rebecca and Danielle LeBrun and Caitlin and Mitchell Clemmens. She was a special "Mommy" to her dog Chevy, her cats and bunny. Mourned by her grandmother Jean Kellar and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in Oshawa and Smiths Falls. Merridee had been a Juvenile Diabetic from the age of 9 and was the inspiration for a charity golf tournament held for 19 years at the Smiths Falls Golf Club. The tournament featured family friend Bobby Orr and raised a total of $365,000.00 for the cause of Juvenile Diabetes Research. A special thank you to all the doctors, nurses at the Smiths Falls Dialysis Unit and the Kingston General Hospital Staff. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls, from 2 to 5 and 7- 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2009 in the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Smiths Falls, at 11:00 a.m., then to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King St. W., Oshawa, for visitation on Saturday, July 4, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 3 o'clock when service will be held in the Chapel. In remembrance, donations to Juvenile Diabetes Research or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.

Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital on Sunday, June 28th, 2009, at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Louis. Loving mother of Daniel and his wife Francisca. Cherished grandmother of Catherine (Mark) and Jocelyn (Suny), and great-grandmother of Zakary and Zoe. Survived by her sister Renãe Doha and many nieces and nephews of France.
