Peacefully at home in Whitby on Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 in her 99th year surrounded by her family. Wife of the late Agostinho Cabral. Loving mother of Natalia and her husband Tony Santos, Carlos Cabral, and Maria and her husband Arthur Moreira. She will be sadly missed by her sister Maria and her husband Nicolau and her grand children Ana, Peter, Pedro, Debbie, Marco, Sandra and her great-grandchildren Alyssa, Kalene, Tyler, Kassandra, Natalie, Matthew, Jacob, Brenden, Alessandro, Ethan and Joshua. EGGERT, Mary Elizabeth (nee Richardson)
It is with great sadness that the family of Mary, wife of the late James Eggert, announce the passing of their mother on July 29 2009, after a loving and rich life of 96 years. Devoted mother of 5 children, Patricia Kimmerly (late Wayne), Bruce Eggert, Donna (Bill) Rockbrune and Wayne (Joyce) Eggert. Predeceased by her son Allan. Loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Mary lived in Oshawa for 65 years in her home until her passing and we were very proud of her independence. Mrs. Eggert will be resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Friday, July 31, 2009 from 5 - 7 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 7 p.m. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Guelph will take place on Saturday, August 1 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
HORGAN, Marthé Caden (née Aliman)
Wednesday, July 29, 2009 peacefully in her sleep at Butternut Manor, Uxbridge. Born July 26, 1915 in London, England. Predeceased by her late husband of 53 years, Frank (1914-1995). Also by her late father S. J. Aliman, her mother Louise Marie (née Evrard), brothers Albert and Eugene, and sister Linda (Keogh). Survived by her sister Reina (Dickson) of Sydney, British Columbia. Marthé always took great joy in her family and filled her role as wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, and great-great-aunt, with love and affection. She will be greatly missed by sons Michael (Jody) and Dennis (Lillie) of Toronto and Terry (Lisa) of Uxbridge. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren, David, Robbie (Andrae), Daniel (Dianna), Travis, Madison, Tracy (Renault) and Cari (Bruce) and by great-grandchildren Andrew, Julia, Spencer, Benjamin, Julia, Annabelle, and Hugo. Auntie Marthé to Marie, Nina, Susan, Peter, Jennie, Linda, Martin and the late Robert Dickson. She will also be missed by her many great-nieces and nephews and great-great- nephews and nieces. A few years ago, Marthé moved from her long-time home on Pacific Avenue in Toronto to the country near the town of Warkworth where she made many new friends. She is fondly remembered by Lynda, Sandy and Jane and many others in the area who had the opportunity to meet her. In June of 2008, Marthé moved to Butternut Manor retirement home in Uxbridge where she made many more new friends with both residents and staff. The family would like to acknowledge the care and dedication of the staff at Butternut Manor over the past year and during the past few months in particular. Over the last two months, Marthé held court receiving many family members and friends who visited to say their goodbyes. Her parting words to everyone are "Bye-bye darlings - love you all"

Dear mother of Dawn and her husband Lorne Longmire of Bowmanville. Proud Nana of Carli, Taylor, Darryl, and Evan, whom she loved bunches and bunches. Survived by her brother Ken Kramp and his wife Betty of Hastings. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
