Mr. Archibald MacGregor
July 11, 1930 - February 22, 2008

MacGREGOR, Archibald - 77, Lakeside, passed away peacefully in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII on February 22, 2008. Born in East Bideford, P.E.I., he was the son of the late Colin and Isabelle MacGregor. Archie was an inspector for Defence Construction Ltd. Archie enjoyed a good game of cards and spending the summer with family at the cottage in Prince Edward Island. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Edna (Phillips) and children, Raeigh (Donna), Brian (Eileen), Vernon (Wendy), Christie Grandy , Marilyn (Mike) Scott, Dawna (Wayne); 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, in Trinity United Church, Timberlea. Burial in Bideford United Church cemetery , P.E.I., at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Special thanks to all the doctors and nurses who cared for him at the QEII. Jeane M. Anderson
January 13, 1921 - February 23, 2008

With deep thankfulness for a life well lived, we mark the passing of our dear mother February 23, 2008. Predeceased by her husband Bruce of 35 years (1982), Jeane is lovingly remembered by daughters Robin Popowich (Jerry), Windsor; Bonnie Fancher (Bob), Cincinnati; Ginger Anderson, Windsor; and son Bruce (Patsy), Windsor; her grandchildren, Mike and Rob Prpich, Hillary Branoff, and Christopher and Brittany Anderson. To each who blessed her life with fond memories and good times, your friendship will always be treasured. Jeane was a lifetime member of Essex Golf and Country Club and served on the Grace Hospital Auxiliary for many years. The family would like to thank the staff of Extendicare Tecumseh for the love and quality care given to their mother. Additionally, thanks is given to the staff at Tecumseh Urgent Care and Jennifer Pottle from the Alzheimer Society for her kind words and support. Visitation will be held at the Marcotte Funeral Home, 12105 Tecumseh Rd. E., from 2-4 pm. and 7-9 pm. Monday, February 25, 2008. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at 11 am. with Archdeacon Ronald Matthewman officiating. A private family interment will be held. As an expression of sympathy, memorial dona-tions may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Windsor Essex Humane Society.

Mr. Henry Mergl
March 15, 1935 - February 23, 2008

Passed peacefully with loving family by his side Feb. 23, 2008 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital at the age of 72. Loving son of the late Henry and Lilly Mergl (Brownsville, ON). Faithful and devoted husband of Eleanor (Santo) for 50 1/2 years. Loving father of Ty Mergl; Andrew Mergl, wife Lily and son Geno; and predeceased by his darling daughter Monique (1979). Will be missed by his lifes treasure: his grandson Zachary Henry Mergl. Dear brother of Albert Mergl and wife Carol of Las Vegas and Janet Justus and husband the late John (1980) of Brownsville. Dear brother in law of Anne Santo and the late Steve (1990) of Maidstone. Will be missed by niece Susan and husband Joe Schembri and sons, Cynthia Englehart, Lisa Justus and Scott, by nephews Gerald and Michelle Santo, David and Judy Santo and family John and Karol Justus and son. He is also mourned by Dana, mother of Zachary. Henry was a "transplanted" tobacco farmer from Langton, ON and became a select seed grower producer for Mergl Seeds Ltd. and was President of Southwest Seeds, Ridgetown ON. He was a proud farmer and loved his home of 50 1/2 years. He served his township for over 25 years as a member of the Committe of Adjustment. He passed through the doors of his beloved Church of the Redeemer for 50 years. There will be an empty chair at Judy's Country Kitchen, where his "coffee friends" enjoyed his company for over 30 years. Among his many hobbies, fishing with friends was a favourite passion. His love for his familly, his love for his land and his pride of ownership is his legacy. Family invites friends and relatives in a relaxed manner to the Victoria Greenlawn Memorial Chapel (1525 Hwy #3, 1 km west of Walker Rd. 519-969-3939) on Monday, Feb. 25 from 2-9 p.m. Visitation will continue Tuesday, Feb. 26 at the Church of the Redeemer (Cty Rd. #8) from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Rev. Stephen Demitroff officiating. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens where he will be gently laid to rest beside his daughter Monique. It is his wish that in lieu of flowers, that you would give a gift to someone dear to you in his memory. Online consolences may be shared at www.msuttonfuneral.ca. Peacefully on February 21, 2008 in his 85th year. Beloved husband to Gwendolyn Burnside. Hurd will be forever cherished in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. Peacefully, surrounded by his family, passed away on Sunday February 24th, 2008. Mike will be sadly missed by his loving wife Rosa, his only son Frank, his wife Tammy, and his treasured grandchildren Jak and Mya. Mrs. Madeline Mary Wisser
September 17, 1909 - February 22, 2008

Peacefully at Bluewater Rest Home, Zurich on Friday February 22, 2008. Mary Madeline (Jeffrey) Wisser of Goderich in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Anthony (Tone) Wisser and mother of the late Paul Wisser. Also loving mother of Irene (Larry) Shaw of Surrey, BC., Norbert (Marjorie) Wisser of Windsor, Ronald Wisser of Atwood and Bill Wisser of Goderich. Lovingly remembered by sister-in-law of Ellen Jeffrey of Goderich, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by brother Ed Jeffrey. Friends will be received at McCallum & Palla Funeral Home, Cambria Rd. at East St. Goderich on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter s Roman Catholic Church, Goderich on Tuesday February 26, 2008 at 11 AM. Intement St. Peter s cemetery. Donations to the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital Foundation C.T. Scan gratefully acknowledged. C.W.L. prayers will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday at 4 PM. Mr. Joseph Michel "Marc" Andre Bouchard
May 17, 1940 - February 22, 2008

(Retired Sgt 26 years with the Canadian Armed Forces, 23 years DND Civilian employee, member of ANAF, Air Force Association, RCEME Association and the Kingston Lapidary Club)

Passed peacefully away on February 22, 2008 in his 67th year, after his courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by the love of his life Marilyn. Loving and devoted father of Andre (Lynn) and Mike (Sharon); loving step father of Tracey Manley (Brian), Krista Mitchell and cherished Papa to Hailey. Survived by step-mother Dahlia "Boudou", brothers Charles (Louise), Angelo (Francine), Camille (Nancy), Georges (Myriam), Guy (Helene), Richard (Dany) and sisters Noella (Louis-Marie), Louise (Marjolain), Carmen, Danielle (Francis), Helene, Suzanne (Jacques). He is fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Marc is predeceased by his parents Jean-Rene and Yvette, sister Angele and his niece Catherine. He will forever be remembered for his sense of humour, his caring and willingness to help others and his devotion to and deep love for Marilyn.

Friends will be received at the Township Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, 435 Davis Drive (Centennial Dr and Taylor-Kidd Blvd) on Thursday, February 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 . Service of Remembrance in Our Chapel on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow at the ANAF Club, 317 Gore Road.

Marc would prefer no flowers, with memorial donations being made to the Kingston Military Family Resource Centre, CFB Kingston or UHKF Southeastern Ontario Cancer Centre..

Members of the ANAF Club will gather at the funeral home, Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. for a memorial service.
