WWII Veteran
Peacefully on February 21, 2008 joining his beloved wife Florence.
Survived by his children Gary Blair and wife Janet Kerr, son Fred Blair and wife Kim McConnell Blair, daughter Susan Blair and spouse Dennis Loughead. Grandfather of Nadine Blair, Blair Loughead and Tiffany Loughead. Brother of Letitia Thomas. Tom will be remembered by his extended family, nieces and nephews. Retired from the Toronto Board of Education with over 30 years of service. Thomas was a WWII Veteran serving over-seas receiving his 50 year membership pin from the Royal Canadian Legion in 2007. Pop will be missed. The family will receive friends at the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village (Ajax) 905-428-8488 on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 10-11 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2008.
Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 606 or to the Canadian Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

During a gallant battle against prostate cancer at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital on Monday February 25, 2008.
William John "Bill" Linfield of Bluewater, R.R. #1 Varna, in his 68th year.
Dear husband and closest friend of Linda "Lindy" (Blake) Linfield.
Beloved and loving "Dad" to Leslie Linfield & her husband Robin Green of Nepean and to Hayley Linfield & her husband Scott Cowan of Toronto.
Proud "Grandpa" of Charlie & Wes Cowan and Danica Green.
Brother of Jerald (Lois) Linfield of Newmarket, Brian (Mary) Linfield of Toronto, Brent Linfield of St. Thomas.
Lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation has taken place.
It was Bill's wish that there be no funeral service, however, friends will be received at the McCallum & Palla Funeral Home, Cambria Rd. at East St. Goderich on Saturday March 1st from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation in Bill's memory to his favourite charity The Nature Conservancy of Canada or The Ausable-Bayfield Conservation Foundation or the charity of your choice.
Spring interment of ashes will take place at Colborne cemetery.

Peacefuly February 19, 2008 while enjoying winter in Arizona, Ronlad L. McDonald of Goderich in his 77th year.
Loving partner of Betty J. MacPhee of Goderich.
Beloved father of Tory McDonald of Goderich, Anne Babin of Aylmer, Robert (Elisabeth) McDonald of Cornwall and David (Lisa) McDonald of Goderich; all children of Catherine McDonald (Shore).
Fondly remembered by the MacPhee family, notably Crystal of Goderich and Shane of Toronto.
Dear brother and brother-in-law of Ellen (Bill) MacGregor of Kitchener, Kathleen McDonald of Schomberg, Les Canivet of Arthur, Shirley McDOnald of Mississauga and Harold (Eleanor) McDonald of Schomberg.
Predeceased by father Ernest McDonald and mother Victoria McDOnald (Sanderson), sister Mary Canivet and brother Ernie McDOnald.
Adored and sadly missed by grandchildren Danielle and Ella Babin, Ryan and Katherine McDonald, Courtney, Nicole, Sarah and Elizabeth McDonald.
Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
Revered as a pilar by the many residents of Palm Creek retirment Community.

Harvey Kane, loving husband of 57 years to Mary Brown.
Dear father of Kevin (Sharon), Theresa Mosier (Danny), Lorne Kane, Pauline Ryan (Steve), Paul (Sally) and Maureen (Danny) and the late Cathy Ferguson (Rick Ferguson).
Fondly remembered by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, predeceased by his grandson Kirk Kane.
Son of the late Albert and Sadie Kane, and predeceased by his sister Dorothy McAllister.
Also survived by his three nephews and many cousins.
Family and friends will be received at the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Home, Central Chapel, 49 Colborne Street (at Clergy) on Wednesday between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Fairbarn, Mary Enid, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Georgian Manor on February 23rd 2008 at the age of 88.
Beloved wife of the late Milt Fairbarn.
Loved mother of Elizabeth and the late Blair Fairbarn.
Mother in law of Monika Fairbarn.
Grandmother of Sara (Mike), and great-grandmother of Brayden.
She will be missed by her nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will take place at the Nicholls Funeral Home, 330 Midland Ave., Midland, on Friday, February 29th from 1 p.m. until time of memorial service at 2 p.m.
Cremation has taken place.
Spring interment Briar Hill cemetery , Sutton, Ontario.

MARKOLF - Willi A. passed away on Monday, February 18, 2008 at the age if 75 years.
Willi will be lovingly remembered by his wife Maria, daughter, Loreen Knicki and son-in-law Kevin Ginter.
Willi is also survived by his sister, Martha Appel of Germany.
