Mother, wife/partner Mutton, daughter, sister, friend, public affairs professional and occasional political hack, Sheila James, 48, died at her home on Sunday, August 16, 2009 surrounded by family. She leaves behind the love of her life, her husband Wayde Preston of 23 years and her children, Georgina June James Preston, 12, and Edith (Ellen) James Preston, 10. She is survived by her loving and supportive parents William & June James, her sister Jennifer and partner Lynn, brother Donald and his three children (Victoria, Ben and Patrick) and brother Glenn and his wife Shelley. She is also survived by wonderful parents-in-law Maurice & Donna Preston and brother- and sister-in-law Marty Preston and Paddy Grayhurst and their three children (Douglas, Aidan and Verity). A long time fan of the Monty Python comedy troupe, Sheila endorsed ‘the meaning of life' philosophy espoused at the end of the movie of the same name: (quote) 'I would only add that the love and support I received from my family and friends allowed me to live a tremendously lucky and charmed life.'
